We had a Lakeview room with a balcony. The view was beautiful. The buffet breakfast had two different kinds of scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles and some other stuff. The bar outside had a happy hour from 3:00 till 5:00 everyday.

We wished the balconies were a little bit more private, there is nothing separating you between the people on either side of you. That really is the reason why I didn't rate it as a ten.

Beautiful location right on Lake Michigan with gorgeous sunsets. Spacious, comfortable rooms - super clean throughout. Front desk staff and manager were awesome - friendly, helpful and super accommodating. Great continental breakfast. Loved the classy bar on the back deck watching the sunsets and weekend live music - wasn’t too loud or crazy - just yacht rock kind of vibe. So much to do nearby. Our family really enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend!

This is a fairly new property located across from a sandy beach with easy access to the Lake. We were delighted with every aspect of this location. Breakfast was good. The restaurant offered good options that were reasonably priced and tasty. Our room, 503 a king suite, was spacious and clean. We did not get a lakeside room, but we could still see water! The staff was also very helpful and polite. I would highly recommend this property. We would happily stay here again.

The printer didn't work! The desk staff tried to help us print boarding passes, but their efforts were unsuccessful. We simply downloaded an app and used our phones instead of printing the passes. No problem.

Wonderful hotel. The grandkids love the pool and indoor/ outdoor hot tub. Comfortable beds and sheets. Very nice people working the desk and breakfast. Loved our balcony and lake view. It would have been a 10 except for breakfast.

The breakfast was just terrible. Oatmeal was like cold glue. Half frozen scones. Out of muffins, any fruit and other items. Milk in a gallon, people pouring milk into used glasses. There was no cereal for the grandkids. Great hotel just needs to do breakfast better.

Location

On the first day, the breakfast area didn't have waffle batter , only raisin bran for cold cereal, frozen bagels, no cream cheese, and one hot pan was empty. The worker said that nothing would be refilled and it was 9:15 a.m. The mixed drinks that we had were not good or enjoyable. We had margaritas, mojitos, lemon drops, and others

The location was wonderful, the breakfast was very good, the room was very clean. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

I wished the room had a little microwave. We ate at your restaurant and brought back left overs but couldn't reheat them later. You did provide a refrigerator so we kept them in there and took them with us but it would be very nice to have a small microwave in the room. I also drink coffee and like to reheat it.

Very clean, beautiful facility. The bathroom and shower were amazing. New building with a beautiful view of the lake and a nice area to relax outdoors.

My one complaint is that none of the chairs in the room or the lobby or even the breakfast area were comfortable. All were hard and straight back. Also the restaurant took over an hour to get our meal and we were the first ones in there that evening. The food was barely acceptable.

Fabulous use of location. Amazing view. New and clean. The fire pit area was our favorite aspect. The breakfast killed the great stay. The food was gone and tasteless when it finally arrived. The staff of the breakfast room were surely and complaining about the number of guests. Very odd and non welcoming. We left and got breakfast elsewhere. Very surprising for a Hampton.

We loved the property. We loved the location. Brilliant in every way. The check in was lovely. The room was great! Wish there was a soaking tub but the shower was ok. ( not a shower person - but soaking tubs are just not available routinely in the US) Work on breakfast. Make it guest friendly. Talk to the staff about actually having food on the hot bar. Their attitude was horrid.

In our first room , there was a whistle tjat couldn't be located. After sleeping with a pillow over my head, the whistle was coming from the slider. We notified Brad at the front desk the next morning, and he was able to get us moved across the hall.

Very beautiful location right on the shore of lake Michigan! Hotel was beautiful very well maintained, clean and comfortable! The indoor/outdoor Hot tub was the highlight of our stay.

Our room was right under the restaurant and it was very noisy until around midnight. We could hear them moving tables and chairs around on the floor right above. Breakfast really needs to be reevaluated. For such a beautiful, clean and friendly hotel we really felt that the breakfast provided was mediocre at best.
