At Snyder‘s, you are definitely paying for the location and the incredible charm. The customer service is top-notch! Everyone at the front desk is so wonderful, and I truly appreciated the gentleman cleaning each morning; wiping down railings, sanitizing, the ice machines, and sweeping sand. It’s so nice that they have coffee in the morning, the kids toys to borrow for the beach, and the Great pool set up with towels.

Yes, some things are outdated, but again, if you can’t see past that, there’s a brand new holiday inn just a few miles down, lol. I predict the toilets and showers will be updated in the next few years, but other than that, we absolutely love the rooms and the amenities offered.

The rooms were incredibly spacious! We had a king bed with a couch, a 2 seated table and a dresser and still TONS of room to move about. Of course there was the bed with 2 night stands. It had a very minimal kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge with separate freezer, sink and very limited dishes with soap and a sponge! The new vinyl flooring was nice too! I loved the doorwall that had two rocking chairs and a small table on the patio/balcony (we were on the 1st floor, so call it what you wish).

Breakfast! It would have been nice to have even a continental style breakfast with coffee, tea, juice and some bagels, pastries and some fruit. I'm not sure there's really a location for such, but it would be nice to have. Parking can also be a challenge with a full house.

It was a really nice place. We liked the decor. It was just across the street from the park, lake and lighthouse. We loved the location. We were only there for the night, but would like to go back and stay a few days. The kitchenette was definitely a nice touch and the balcony has a great view of the lake.

There's no elevator and our room was on the second floor. The stairs going up were not protected from the elements. It was raining and water puddled on the steps and it was not a lot of fun trying to get the luggage up and down.

There were some negatives, but they are outweighed by the positives. The location is perfect. Most rooms have a view of Lake Michigan and a balcony (2nd floor) of a large, fenced patio (1st floor) - make sure you get a lake view. Across the street is the pier and beach, the downtown is within walking distance. The staff is extremely friendly. We saw no hotel / motel with a location as good as this. The room had a single cup coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, TV, small table with 2 chairs and a queen bed. It had no phone. The air conditioner worked great.

The facilities are dated, and the in-room bathroom is one of the smallest we have had at a hotel. Our screen door to the patio was broken.

The location is wonderful! Next to the Jaycee miniaturegolf, perfect view of the harbor and breakwater, beside the beach. A short walk to the beautiful beach, downtown and the marina. Every day begins with a great view of the carferry sailing to Wisconsin. The Badger returns again in the evening... just before the beautiful sunset over the breakwater and lighthouse!!! Also, there is also a hotel pool(we didn't have a chance to use it).

The room had dishes, but only paper coffee cups. Real cups would have been nice to watch the morning from the balcony !! Also, (since one question on this review was about lighting) the light over the sink area didn't work. Overall, it was wonderful !!

The location is great! Right across the street from the beach, pier walk and boat launch. Fairly quiet too. Staff was friendly. The in-room refrigerator had plenty of space for our snacks & drinks. The patio area facing the lake is comfortable with a nice lawn and fence barrier before the road. Everything worked fine. The location made it easy to visit family both north and south of us and while it wasn't quite walking distance to restaurants in town it is a short drive and parking in Ludington isn't too bad.

The AC unit goes on and off quite a bit and is rather loud. The room is pretty small and ours was in the middle of the size range in our class (see floorplan to understand). Bathroom was minimal, but functional. No closet, hanging rack along wall, behind door. Small table with chairs is useful but really crowds this small room. Parking can be challenging when they are "full up".

The easy access to beach and the fact this had an outdoor pool. Staff were all SUPER nice. Room was clean.

Parking: if u stayed out past 8pm it was hard to get a parking spot. They should register car's, 1 per room. If there's more a stiff fee should apply. Mattress: needs new in room's 138 & 139. Also broken tile on bathroom floor. Rooms with large tubs are WAY OUT dated.. Almost nasty.... Booking.com: LIED or Synder's did... I DID NOT get the room I paid booking for... I paid for a handicap 300 sq foot room with KING bed OVER LOOKING LAKE MICHIGAN.....instead I got a queen size, small room OVER LOOKING THE PARKING LOT.... Which is $80.00 a night cheaper.... So WHO screwed me out of over $160.00 plus fees & tax.... ???? Booking or Synder's .... CAN'T TRUST ANYONE

We loved the location! We had a beach-front room in which we watched the sunset from our bed. It was within easy walking distance to the beach. The clerk at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. It seemed renovated and upgraded since we were there last. Nice flooring. The room included a fridge with a freezer and a microwave, too. Plus, there was a little patio out back with deck chairs to watch the sunset. Great value for the price.

Very tiny shower. Small bathroom. Toilet not comfortably located. And the AC unit was kind of loud. Other than that, we can't think of anything we didn't like.

Nice location near the marina and beach! The extra cost for a room with water view was worth it. We enjoyed a nice sunset, beverages, and breakfast while rocking on our patio. We also enjoyed a late night dip in the outdoor pool and hot tub.

No breakfast is provided and the coffee/water station by the front desk was inaccessible during our morning checkout as the office was locked. Shower is very small.

They accommodated us with a later than usual Check-in. This worked out extremely well for our timeframe. I want to say again how much we appreciate this type of service. If we need a place to stay in the area - this place will be our first choice.

The shower in the bathroom. Lots of water gets on the floor. Shower curtain was not really stopping much of the water from going places and just ended up flooding the floor a bit. This makes me slightly nervous for the eventuality of it causing damage and it being blamed on the guest.
