We thought the indoor garden/water area was really cool. We used the pool and hot tub every day. Everything seemed clean and breakfast was always stocked. Friendly staff. Breakfast hours and checkin/checkout times were great. Was nice to be able to take our time packing up to leave in the morning.

Breakfast was mediocre but there were enough options to figure something out. Coffee was not very good. Fitness area was not good. Only equipment was 2 mismatching dumbbells and one of the 3 cardio machines didn’t work (didn’t try the others). Would have been disappointed if working out had been a priority during this particular stay.

Such a good experience I had to write a review. Wanted a simple getaway at a more affordable hotel with girlfriend and her young kids who think it’s fun to stay in a hotel and go swimming. This place could not have been any more perfect. Staff was incredibly friendly and competent. Everything from the parking lot to the lobby to the pool to the room was pristinely clean and organized. Breakfast was solid for a predictable hotel breakfast. We arrived to peace and left in even more peace. Nicely done!

I’d have to search for something to complain about and the only thing that comes to mind is that my coffee cup from breakfast leaked on my shorts. When I added a second cup it leaked on my shirt. Maybe check your cups!? Because everything else was so perfect I just thought it was funny.

The motel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious. I like the extra sink in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good. I would have liked hash brown potatoes. The eggs were bland, but there were choices and we were well fed.

I booked 5 months out requesting our 4 rooms be close together. We were split 2 rooms on each floor. The pool closed at 10....We arrived late and would have liked more pool time especially for the kids.

Excellent location. Facility was clean and well kept. I heard some reviews about the slippery tub but I had no issues (well we are also in our 30’s and 50’s). The breakfast was good and decent for us. I love the fact they have a waffle maker and some warm eggs and sausage. We were surprised about how good the coffee was. Pool and jacuzzi were also clean and nice to enjoy.

Not a BIG deal but was awakened at 10am when checkout is at 11 and we had a late checkout for noon . Didn't understand why anyone would knock on our door that early

We didn’t eat breakfast as we needed to head to church. The coffee was really weak from the breakfast area though. The room and bathroom were clean..could have used an easy chair in the room. Tv was good…shower was slippery…no bath mat so I used a hand towel.

Bathtub was slippery for shower. Nothing to hang on to and no bath mat! Could have used an easy chair for comfort watching TV.

NO grabs bars in the shower😬 The tub bottom was a little slippery. Each unit should be equipped with 1 grab bar on the outside and grab bar rail on the inside of the tub.

The staff were very friendly and were always available to help with any questions. The room had every amenity to ensure a very comfortable stay. Towels were replaced every morning, and the room was cleaned. The breakfast had an excellent selection as well as a waffle maker. We will definitely be a customer the next time we are in Pentwater.

Beautiful new hotel in a secluded area. Loved the tall ceilings, wood beams and the rock garden/ dessert. Friendly staff. Big dining room area for events.

N/A-but would recommend offering flavored coffee creamer and adding hashbrowns and bacon to the continental breakfast.
