The staff is attentive to the grounds, which are beautiful. They keep the inn spotless. We noticed recent upgrades, such as new dressers, tables, desk, and desk chair. The beds have nice linens and are comfortable. My parents stayed in the king jacuzzi suite. My mom used the jacuzzi each night and it was clean and worked great. The suite was spacious and we were able to have family game nights in their room. Two sinks and a huge bathroom with lots of storage. There is free take and go breakfast each morning. Yogurt, coffee, juice, and toast. The outside swimming pool and jacuzzi are well maintained. Many families stay here. The hotel is in walking distance to downtown, Stearns beach, the marina, and homes on the self guided historic Ludington home walking tour. I enjoyed walking downtown each morning and checking out local coffee shops and bakeries. Ludington is a town of flowers in July. We stay here each year and consider the inn the only place we will stay in Ludington.

Staff was so nice, and helpful. We asked to change our first room to a better one. Second room we were assigned was nice, with better airflow and less traffic noise.

Unsure of the other 2 rooms at the front of the property, just feet off the busy street, but we were assigned room 114 and it was dark and damp, the air was also stale. The traffic noise was easily heard in this room so I requested we be reassigned to a different room farther away from the street, which the receptionist happily did. The second room, #137 was fine, with fresher air and no traffic noise could be heard.

Easy check-in, clean, simple, basic room, well-maintained. Everything worked.

We asked to use one of the long parking spaces to park our trailer for the night. Someone else had parked in one and was over the line and the trash dumpster was in the other two lanes. We moved the dumpster out of the way. It was such a small parking lot. We were glad they were the long parking spaces. It’s not really the motel’s fault that someone parked poorly. Which the mattress was a little more cushioned, but it wasn’t terrible.

The room was VERY clean! The pool and hot tub were perfect for me and the kids. They kept it clean, and welcoming!

My only complaint is that I couldn’t just pull in and out of the parking lot. I would have to go down about three blocks, and make a U-Turn to legally enter the parking lot. When leaving, due to it being a one way road, I would have to go up one block, and make a U-Turn, if I wanted to go downtown.

Nice one level motel with outdoor pool and jacuzzi and situated so it’s private from the road. The executive room was big, 2 vanities, small shower, jacuzzi and fireplace. The heated pool and spa was big and nice with plenty lounge chairs on the deck. Grounds were clean, beautiful shade tree with large area under it w/chairs for gathering. Designated parking for each room was helpful. We really appreciated the small property with a pool in a good location.

Pool hours could have been longer. 11am - 10pm. after long day out it’s a perk to be able to swim in pool a little later. the HotTub isn’t really a Hot-tub, its kept warm till 5pm then supposed to go to 98 but the owners don’t increase the heat and everyone in the pool (repeat customers) said they won’t unless requested but it doesn’t get to 98. personally we still enjoyed it but my husband prefers a hotter experience. These new owners are on 3rd summer and so far so good, but we could see the building is going to need some repairs and paint this year- hopefully they will get it done to keep it nice.

Good location, quiet,. It was clean and beds were comfortable. Good price, too! It isn't super fancy but a good stop for a night. I was really happy the bed was decent, I got a good night's sleep, hooray!

The only thing I could say negative is the tv was loud, even when set at 1 for volume. Not a big deal and nothing the owners can do when it was manufactured that way

The room was very clean, and ample towels were supplied. The staff was very friendly. There were few choices for carry-out breakfast, which was fine with us as there are so many great restaurants to have breakfast and explore Ludington.

This is a old style "Motor Lodge" that I believe is now under new ownership and management. The location is good, the rooms are refreshed and the bed was comfortable. At this time of year it is hard to appreciate the outdoor space and pool , but it is evident the owners have been keeping things neat and tidy. I would absolutely recommend this place as a good value for its price range.

Location, comfort, clean and price.

My TV wasn't working but was fixed by the staff upon request. The parking for all of the rooms is convenient except for two. The two corner rooms #151 and #152 have two park across the parking lot and under a tree, one of which was mine. Not good for elderly people but unavoidable.

Room was clean, friendly staff. I met the owners very nice couple. Pool was amazing, very well kept up and there’s complimentary towels at the pool area. Close to the beach

The vending machine didn’t have any pop in the pop machine.
