Location Excellent - However we had our own transport Room was good - had all the basic requirements, Clean and average size. Even though was bit old fashioned Bed and linen - AVerage, not bad Breakfast - GOOD, Was above my expectations for a Buffet in England Pool, sauna, and the jacuzzi was good. (Except the water in the pool)

swimming pool was full on chlorine concentrate - gave a terrible burning sensation on the eyes. And my daughter had a terrible skin reaction for few hours. (Bdw, our family is four of regular swimmers) Bathrooms were beit old fashioned, but maintained well. Carpets on the floor was old, but not a major concern

The location was perfect, as we were visiting our new granddaughter in Basingstoke hospital, the breakfast was very good and reasonably priced at £10 each, car parking was free,the room 117 was clean and tea / coffee making was great, bed was comfortable but pillows were not so good to hard, reception apologised, they had changed there suppliers but the pillow cases they used were to small for the new pillows, they were in the process of getting them changed, we had an evening meal there to and it was very good and reasonably priced,all together a great stay.

The pillows were to hard.

Plenty of parking, The hotel although off of a roundabout feels very peaceful, the trees offer privacy and wildlife (we saw a few rabbits hopping around outside out window) check in was quick, our rooms were a good size comfy bed, my son slept on a pull out sofa bed which he said was comfortable, the facilities here are marvellous, pool sauna, steam room gym, bar separate to the restaurant, we didn’t get to try the food as we were there for a wedding nearby, we all said we’d love to stay there again, staff were very helpful and friendly

Reception and bar staff were amazing. Pool was a great addition. Room was great, bath and shower.

Breakfast! Massive let down. Food was good when it was eventually brought out. All tables were dirty, no tables cleared whilst we were there, had to clear and clean our own table both mornings. The girl on in the morning was running around trying to refill and bring food out the lad was very slow and grumpy.

The reception team was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Took a little while to get hot water in the shower but once it came through plentiful. We used the pool and sauna. Towels were provided. We had food from the bar menu which was decent for our one night stay. Breakfast had toast, cereals, and the standard hot option . Breakfast got us off to a good start. I doubt I will be in the area again but I would stay again.

We were a bit dubious as after we had booked we were told not to go there, but we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very helpful and friendly. Our room was great, although a little warm and the facilities really good and clean. We did not book breakfast and we realised it would be too late for dinner, but we went to the bar and were very surprised and happy at the size of the room which was on two levels and very comfortable

Comfortable rooms. Library Bar was clean, staff friendly, food and drinks reasonably priced, loved the library itself. Lovely to have a nice pool and jacuzzi, and good gym on site.

Our bathroom door didn’t shut. Hairdryer didn’t work in the room. Sofa bed pillows zip broken. One light didn’t work. However these were not a big problem us - might have been for some people. We were genuinely pleased.

Being together for the family party celebration ..Very close to the venue Oakridge west community hall.Few of the family stayed at the appollo Saturday so it was great Our brother lived in Bahamas so this brought us together near where we were together Oakridge road as a family . Memories that will be cherished . Thankyou .

Breakfast was great, evening meal was a bit "good in parts". Staff were exceptionally good (we asked to move rooms and were pleasantly served in the bar/restaurant and at breakfast).

Too much salt on the garlic bread (garlic salt?). Noisy neighbours (but we were promptly moved on request). Young man using phone in the pool (despite the prominent notices) - though don't think that he was recording images.

We stayed in the deluxe suite which was more like a one bedroom apartment. Added bonus had a pool even if it was very small.

The furniture was very outdated, all dark wood back to the 60s. Sofa and main bed was very uncomfortable. Tv had no normal channels and had to log into own accounts to tv, Netflix, and others.
