Very professional yet friendly staff, extremely spotlessly clean room, nice restaurant in house with reasonably priced items, wide variety at the included breakfast including live egg station. Location is close to ferry terminal, shops, and hospital. The staff were very accommodating and helpful, ready to assist with whatever was needed.

It would be nice to have some body lotion included in the in room amenities along with the shower gel shampoo and conditioner which were very nice. There was some construction in the area and the noise travels into the room at times. I could also hear the door closing in the other rooms on my floor from mine. But nothing that made the stay unbearable or made me want to move to another place.

We had an excellent one-night stay at Marukab Hotel before taking our flight back home. The location is superb for exploring the city and conveniently close to the airport. The hotel offers a round-trip taxi service to the airport, and the staff were very communicative and arranged the pick-up professionally. The staff were friendly and the hotel was extremely clean. They even prepared a packed breakfast for us due to our early flight. The room temperature was perfect, thanks to the fantastic air conditioning. They also provided filtered water (2L) and we enjoyed nice views from the open top floor. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will return next time we visit Male.

The hotel could benefit from providing more comprehensive touristic information about Male. Additionally, we found it challenging to use the streaming services (Netflix) on the TV set.

We enjoyed everything in the hotel! The hotel is well organized and the staff is extremely helpfull, especially the manager, Sayan who helped us alot! We booked an entire week there without knowing enough about Male and we were a bit dissapointed when we arrived but Sayan helped in taking the decission to remain there and with all the details! He planned a full agenda for us with a lot of fun activities and relaxing time in several amazing places. He contacted all the resorts we went and found the best offers for us. Whenever we needed help, he solved the issue in no time. They clean the room everyday and they provide fresh water.

Close enough to airport but also far enough to experience the city. The staff were incredible! My friend was followed by a man (not a Maldivian native) three seperate times (I refused to leave the hotel after the first time) and the staff did everything in their power to keep us safe and protected. They even offered to escort us to the nearby convenience store if we needed anything. The meals we ate were all impeccable. The breakfast service was really lovely too. They did everything they could to make our stay as good as possible.

Only a minor detail but no soundproofing in the rooms so you can hear every street noise. Not bad enough to be a real problem though personally.

I want to share my positive experience staying at Marukab Plaza in the city of Male. My family and I spent several days here, and it was a wonderful time, thanks to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. I would like to give special thanks to a young woman named Prabodha, who works at the reception. She was incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting us with various questions and recommendations. Thanks to her, our stay became much more comfortable. I also want to highlight a young man named Dakshina, who was always ready to help and answer all our questions. His friendliness and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. And, of course, a special thanks to the waiter named Neranjan, who provided us with excellent service in the restaurant. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts, which were diverse and delicious. His attention to detail and good taste in menu recommendations made our dinners unforgettable. I sincerely recommend Marukab Plaza to anyone planning a trip to Male. There are truly wonderful people working here who do everything possible to make guests feel at home! clean room. big and relaxing bed. clean bathroom with generous shower. good breakfast (you have a choice). It is better to have a room with a view in front of the hotel (the island is small and the buildings are built very close to each other). Choose a higher floor like I had (floor 7). thank the staff for this.

However, be careful with mosquitoes because the windows do not close hermetically. You must have an anti-mosquito solution with you. The TV doesn't have any channels available... it was good to have at least a few channels so you could watch something in the evening.

We liked how clean the hotel felt and the AC worked perfectly to escape the heat of the Maldives. The staff were so helpful and friendly and having the airport transfer arranged with the reception was amazing and took the stress of finding a taxi. The breakfast was a surprise! Freshly cooked eggs were yummy and their daily dishes were yummy! We also got room service and the food was tasty… the juices were a great refreshment and the chocolate ice cream was lovely!

Nothing… we just wished there was a swimming pool as the beach near the hotel was a little small and swimsuits are not allowed but that’s nothing wrong with the hotel just local rules

It was good everything. Good room, good hotel, very clean, friendly stuff, excellent coffee in the bar.

Very, very noisy from 6 am because there is a building opposite the hotel and a road with hard traffic in down.

first off the property must have been newly built or renovated because it's extremely nice. our flight was moved to the next day last minute and so we called the resort before booking. the hotel includes free airport transportation, so instead of waiting for their shuttle to get there they actually offered to just paid for our cab once we arrives. once we arrived we were greeted with a cool towel and tea. we were personally walked up to our room. everyone there was SO unbelievably kind. we mentioned our flight wasn't until 11 at night the next day and the guy at the front desk actually came back up to our room about 10 minutes later and said he called the owner and they wanted to offer us a complimentary extension and we could stay until 9pm. They'll never understand how kind that was and how much we appreciated it. there's a cute little lounge/coffee shop downstairs that offers your free breakfast in the morning. the coffee was delicious and the breakfast was MORE than sufficient. I had a cup of coffee frothed and they had a cute little heart on the froth, a plate of fruit, we were asked how we liked our eggs cooked and that plate came out with a ton of sides on it. both me and my husband were full! we tipped the waiter fairly and he almost fell over because of how thankful he was for a tip. they deserve every penny of it. the location is awesome! we walked 5 minutes to a gym called the hammer. it's right by the water where you can find a ton of great restaurants (some are even open 24 hours). we walked to the jetty by the water which offers pick up to go to crossroads for a day trip. when we returned, we enjoyed gelato in the hotel's lounge (10/10 recommend). the lounge in the lobby also had some sandwiches and salads etc for our use if you are hungry. we walked to a Thai place near by that was absolutely fantastic.

absolutely NOTHING. it's a fantastic and beautiful resort. there's nothing they wouldn't make happen for a guest.

staff are professional and super friendly. met at the jetty with great smiles and greetings, an umbrella due to rain down pour, and lovely staff members. transfer vehicle was immaculate, and the meet and greet a great welcome at the jetty. very clean hotel and rooms. cafe at front of hotel. Breakfast has wide variety of food. quick and professional check in and check out.

Male is a very busy city with lots of traffic, so not easy for any hotel to have quiet rooms, all hotels would struggle with this. you just need to go with the flow of the city.
