We were visiting adult children in Bloomfield so they were 10 minutes away, bonus was that the Hotel was very nice. The price was fair booking with Booking.com. Checking on line direct with the hotel the price was double. The hotel was very clean, modern, breakfast was very nice. We only used housecleaning once on our 5 day stay. We were told that housecleaning would come on New Year's Day but there was none. That was fine. I just called for extra coffee and water and all was fine. We will go to this hotel again when we visit the kids in New Jersey again.

We had a good-sized room with comfortable beds at the end of a corridor on the 6th floor which meant that we were not disturbed even though it was the busy Christmas period. The location was convenient for the town. We would definitely stay there again if visiting our relatives in Montclair.

The breakfast had a limited menu but adequate. Service was variable over the time we were there and sometimes seemed like an afterthought that they had just remembered to provide.

View from my room. I booked room w a balcony expecting to see NYC skyline and view was of a parking lot and balcony was a concrete wall. Paid extra for this room. Plus I prefer a higher floor and balcony rooms were on 3. This was my only disappointment

The hotel was excellent.However, I booked on line for a rehearsal event. Did not realize when I googled Marriott hotel that booking .com came up so I did not get hotel rates that others got booking directly with hotel. A very sneaky practice. I asked at hotel why my rate was much higher that others in our party , they said because I used booking.com. The hotel could not/would not change my rate. Would not even give me senior discount. Hard to see fine print on phone . Although the place was nice , I was upset I got charged $377 for 1 night 1 person and they would not accommodate me in any way. They said sorry nothing we can do for you. So sorry I will not be back. Someone should ban these deceptive things from popping up , it is your hotel site that I googled so at least side with your customers!

Staff was nice but refused to accommodate my very high rate. Could have been accommodating when others paid $100 less. Sorry your fault they said basically. Not very customer friendly.

Upon check in, the front desk rep was not personable, and said "oh here these are for you" and handed me two bottles of water. What?! These should have been in the room already. This made me feel like I was paying $250 to stay at the Red Roof. Lighting fixtures on the wall did not work. A porter came and tried a new bulb but no luck. No building engineer ever returned to fix the light.

I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee machine. A porter named Michael came to the room and showed us how it worked and replenished the coffee supplies. He was very courteous and personable.

A beautiful and comfortable hotel. The views from high floors and the rooftop bar/cafe are excellent. I lived in this town for ten years, and I stayed here to visit friends and family. The valet parking is handled professionally, but figure in $40/day extra. Parking in the area is difficult, and it is worth the cost.

Small fitness center.

Great location for a concert at the Wellmont Theater. Comfortable room. They let us check in early. Room service was quick and good.

The price was a bit high for the area, but they are the only hotel around.

Lovely overall. Pleasant stay. Clean rooms and good service. I enjoyed my stay there.

all great. i cannot think of anything needing improvement. a perfect stay. I enjoyed my stay there and I would return. I recommend this hotel to anyone needing a hotel in that area.

The rooms were nice and I love the balcony.

I had to phone for the room to be cleaned, even though I called early, went out and came back and it still was not cleaned.

Very close to our final destination.

We didn’t realize that the parking had EV chargers until we drove miles to charge and came back to park. I wish it was more clear.
