Superb location, spotless and comfortable rooms with lovely views. Stayed for an extended period over the Christmas holidays with family. Hotel management overseen by Mr Gabba arranged excellent rooms for us to celebrate special occasions during this time. House keeping overseen by Mr Ravi was consistent and of a high standard, special breakfast requests overseen by Mr Avinash were met daily, resulting in a comfortable stay with delicious food. Mr Varun at front desk was professional and helpful throughout, Ms Shipra at breakfast took personal care of my elderly dad and Mr Venkatesh was a pleasure to interact with while he assisted in the gym.

Minor areas of improvement could lift this already great hotel even further. Inconsistency of dining room management at breakfast can lead to a very fragmented, error strewn experience when it's an off day. Simple service steps like replacing cutlery or providing water on each table can be hit or miss, but make a difference over an extended period. Similarly, some front desk staff are excellent, like Mr Shyam. They provide respectful, professional and effective service. Others, like Mr Ram perhaps need some more development in how to read situations and interact with guests to avoid faux pas and causing unintentional offence.

We had a lovely four days at the Welcomehotel in Vizag. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The rooms were comfortable, clean and a good size. The staff were lovely! Very friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel is welcoming for children. The food at all the restaurants/bar/cafe was excellent, including the buffets for breakfast and dinner. Nice pool area, garden and common areas as well. We found it to be excellent value for money.

Some more shade out by the pool would be great, especially in summer. Some extra hangers in the rooms for wet swimming gear would also be good.

Location was excellent. Staff were friendly , courteous and guided us when needed. I was delighted that the hotel honoured my request for a complimentary upgrade to a sea view room and much to our surprise , decorated the room for our anniversary.

One hour after check out I received a call as I was about to board my flight that a paltry sum of Rupees 65 was not paid by me and we have left the hotel without informing anybody !!! This was absolutely shocking and I was surprised that a hotel of this stature could dare to call a guest without ascertaining the facts. When I gave him the details of check out and the amount (Rs.65) paid , he casually apologized. This left a bad taste after an otherwise excellent experience.

The pre-wedding venue was beautifully set up, and the hotel's event team handled every detail with precision and care. The food was exquisite, and the service was impeccable. What truly impressed me, however, was the hotel's ability to handle our large and lively group with ease. The room was fine and they provided an extra bed for our son as well. The toilet was nice. The prpperty had a swimming pool although did not use it. Breakfast was average, they had a decent spread of Indian and continental. We did not use the swimming pool but it looked clean and they had a fitness faculty which we did not use. The prpperty is close up the beach just on top of a little elevation.

The most prominent of many good aspects of the hotel was The People. I understand that the local tradition of being courteous also contributes to pleasing faces. But one has to give credit to the Lead Team for the all the work that goes into screening, training, maintaining staff that can deliver top class standards of Service....... In all the departments. The speciality restaurant Dakshin was a memorable treat. The customer is made to feel like she/he is someone they all adore. My Congratulations to the General Manager & his team.

The responses from all the staff members are genuine and heartful. I stayed for one night, but I enjoyed my stay. Special thanks to the reception team members, i think the lady name ms. laxmi, who helped me get a nice sea view rooms with minimal additional cost. But, it is worth it. They also offered me buy 1 get 1 at the bar lounge as a special case for me and my other room, which was exceptional. Trust me, staying at ITC will make a real difference and worth for your stay.
