I LOVED 😍 everything from the staff, accommodation, location, etc. the owners were pure love always greeting with a smile, with the wife providing me with Greek cakes and savoury baked goods to try. The owner is very kind, he explained everything to me on the first day (they even printed a map of Santorini to show me places I can check out) and the couple stayed up till late in the evening past 10 PM to wait for me to check in 🥰. They even filled my fridge with water so I had something to drink. Their son Jacob was amazing in communicating with me before and during my stay. I had to catch a ferry to Milos when I left and needed to print my pass, and Jacob was prompt in assisting me, making my stay and travel comfortable and stress free 🙏🏽 I had my ferry departing at 3pm and had to check out at 11am, the owners were so nice that they invited me to stay by the pool and relax till my ferry leaves. This family is truly a blessing and I would definitely stay here whenever I'm in Santorini. If your traveling alone, with friends, or family this is where you need to book. Trust me! ❤️ Also the bus is literally a 2-3 min walk, the bakery is around the corner and is open till midnight, the restaurants are open till 11pm, there are various rentals from atvs, buggy's, and electric bikes (highly recommended - check out exo experience). I rented an e-bike for $10 euro and saw Perissa Beach, Caldera view, red beach/Akratiri and the heart of Santorini all within 6-hrs. I also got to see Oia (check out around 7-8pm for sunset), Fira, the volcano, hot springs, and saw another island called Thirassia - you can do this for $30 euro 6-hrs tour guide. If you want to go into Fira it's super easy there is a timetable at the bus stop with the departing times which are frequent and run early until 11pm at night. It costs $2.5 euros, and from their you can get your connecting bus(s). I was in Santorini from May 20-24 and wish I stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely apartment in Perissa from May 26th to June 2nd, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is ideal – just about 200 meters from the beachfront, with easy access to restaurants, beach bars, and shops. Perissa itself is a more peaceful area compared to Oia or Fira, making it perfect for relaxing while still being a great base for exploring the island. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos: clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We had a private balcony, access to a beautiful swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas, and a private parking area. There was also a small kitchenette with everything we needed to prepare quick meals to enjoy on the balcony – ideal for those evenings when we preferred staying in. Daily housekeeping kept the room tidy and fresh, with towel changes every day and a full cleaning twice during the week – a level of service we truly appreciated. What really made this stay unforgettable, however, was the incredible hospitality of the owners. They were kind, always available, and genuinely caring throughout our entire stay. In all our travels, we have never encountered such warm and attentive hosts. Thank you once again! This apartment is an absolute gem and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini.
Everything was just right for us – we felt at home from the very first day

Could not recommend this place enough. I SOLO traveled there in May for five days and they upgraded me because it wasn’t super busy. I’d highly recommend coming at this time of year. It was really warm, and there wasn’t much winds, and the water in the ocean was a good temperature. The host was super helpful and welcoming and stayed up late and arranged both of my Port. Transfers. When I arrived past Bus Times and I missed my bus to get back to the airport, and the wife gave me food every day. A little bite of whatever she was cooking, and they were super accessible and helpful because they live on site. The swimming pool looked amazing. Even though I didn’t use it. You might not think to stay at this location because it’s not Phraya, but honestly, the bus is a pretty reliable, and if you wanna be close to a beach and where it’s actually warm at night because you’re not on a cliff, I couldn’t recommend Paris enough, especially with the mini market close by and the bakery at 6 o’clock in the morning with lots of fresh pastries, and the amazing ladies. That work there and the beach being a four minute walk away, and the bus stop being really close.
I will just warn you, If you’re going during windy season. It’s gonna be really loud to the windows are not windproof, and it will howl throughout the house.

The twin room we got was firstly extremely clean. Air conditioning comes with the price of the room and you have an in-room safe. Breakfast here was amazing for only 9 euros. You get Toast, orange juice, tea or coffee, yoghurt, bananas or plums, peaches as per Greek tradition (cheese and ham), a slice of cake and a variety of jams. There are many beach bars in Perissa and you won’t be short of places to go for food. Bobs bar is a great bar and Meltemi Bar is great for some Live music (Wednesdays and Sundays) There is also a supermarket about 100 yards away from the villa so that is perfect.

Beautiful property, well maintained, incredibly clean, beautiful genuine owners. They go above and beyond for you and nothing is ever too much, always there when you need them. The views from the balcony were amazing. Literally 3 minutes walk to the sandy beach and shops, the beach strip has many relaxed bars and restaurants. 15 mins drive to Fira by motorbike and about 25 mins drive with the local bus, which is very frequent. If you are planning to stay in santorini, stay here, you won't be disappointed. I look forward to returning here.

Greece now seems surreal. It was a beautiful adventure for three generations of lovely, amazing women. The whole week was an unforgettable experience that will be cherished for a lifetime! On Sunday, my sister awoke to the church bells and the Pappas chanting. This continued for two whole hours from the town square. She chose to hike to the smaller chapel, Panagia Katefiani. “The church was built between 1537 and 1650. It was built on the side of the Mesa Vouno mountain at an altitude of 200 metres. This allowed the building to withstand the attacks of pirates and invaders and survive until the present day.” -from Santorini-more.com Waking up to the bell tolls and chanting from the chapel Sunday was the most heavenly sound. Before our last dinner in Perissa, my mother spent time “talking” with our host as she gave her a tour of her beautiful garden. They at one point started to use a tablet to better converse. Lavender, rosemary, oregano, hibiscus, pomegranates, and many other lovely things that she nurtured grew there outside the villas. Upon us leaving, she gifted us with herbs from her garden.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to give us great tips on must-see spots, local food recommendations, and how to make the most of our stay. The room was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t have been better – just 1 minute from the supermarket, 3 minutes to the beach, bus stop, and an incredible 24-hour bakery nearby. We highly recommend staying here!!

Staff was so friendly. I arrived late in the evening and the man that owns the place was waiting up for me. Gave me a full introduction to the Island and helped with my case up the stairs. So lovely. The view from the top was unreal. I love that they cleaned my room everyday and made sure I had clean towels and bed sheets.
It would of been perfect if we could buy food but there are soo many places near by it didn't make a difference. Especially the 24hr bakery.

We liked very much the view from the balcony, which is fantastic. The host are a very well trained couple that does the most they can for the guests. They even explain to you clearly what you can do on the island and that is not something that every host does. They speak very good english, which is satisfying. We came after a vacation in Spain and we really appreciate the fact that they speak english. We even had a little problem, I thought, which was that I lost something precious to me and I thought that someone stole it, but it was me who lost it. I explained to the host what I thought it happened and they were really kind and helpful. I am still so sorry for that sir, if you read this. I wish them the best and you should visit them for sure.
The windows are very noisy at night if the wind is persistent. For someone that is sensitive at noises it is quite hard to fall asleep.

We couldn't fault our stay at ARETOUSA Villa , We arrived to the owners helping us with our luggage and giving us refreshments and a chat about our travel there and about the area before walking us to our room, he really took his time to make sure we were comfortable and happy and reassured us that he was always there if we needed him for anything. All the staff were more than helpful, the villa got cleaned everyday by a lovely lady and the Villa owners went above and beyond to help with any queries or destinations we wanted to visit , we always received a friendly welcome too. Walking distance to supermarket, beach, restaurant's that offer all sorts of different foods and goes on for miles! beach bars too and bakery just down the road! the nearest bus stop is also just down the road that takes you all over the island. which was only 2.20 euros each to visit the capital (Fira) which is a stunning place especially at sunset, definitely worth a visit. We stayed for 2 weeks and could not put into words how much we enjoyed, they also offer breakfast in the morning between the hours of 8am and 10am which is convenient for anyone heading out for the day which includes an array of different things. The pool is very private and well maintained with a view of a palm tree and mountain. It is close enough to the town but a very peaceful place to stay. We both highly recommend staying at Aretousa villas, we believe you wont be leaving disappointed :)
We wouldn't say we didn't like anything however, this apartment did not come with a washing machine, oven or toaster so making food if your looking to do a lot of home cooked meals may be difficult but a portable stove is given. A laundrette is also available down the road but is a bit pricey so these may be things to keep in mind, but we managed for 2 weeks without these and made do of what we had.
