The large club had two separate beaches, lovely pools with attentive staff. The meals were pretty good with an abundance of choice, and had western and local options. The front desk staff were lovely and extremely helpful when we had an issue with the room (even though one must have some patience for the pace of things in Tunisia). We had two rooms - a bungalow and a regular room, and bother were totally correct. They were cleaned daily. It was great to be able to explore the grounds (there’s also tennis & mini-golf), as well as several gardens. The flora was breathtaking, and there weren’t too many mosquitoes. The beaches are clean and the water was lovely, with attentive staff. Bars and refreshments stands are easily accessible, and after hours entertain is fun without imposing light or sound on the rooms. Because it’s a Muslim country, people are used to having a good time without drinking, so there’s no pressure either way, though alcohol is available on-site. Bonus: As a plus-size woman, I felt comfortable and not judged for my size like I do most other places - that alone was amazing.

A lot of people smoke and there’s no non-smoking section in the outdoor lounge areas.

Staff were LOVELY! Always so friendly and helpful, couldn’t do enough to help. As a lone traveller it was extra nice to see the friendly faces when I arrived back each evening or ate alone. Pools were great. Beach area excellent. You can walk 20 mins along the beach to reach the old medina and fort.

Thin walls so neighbouring rooms flushing their toilets woke me a few times each night (though the flushes were super powerful so maybe difficult to dampen the sound…!) Hotel charges more for transfers (and I assume any other journeys) than others. Instead, when I used a taxi driver for a small local journey I asked him about longer journeys. He arranged my first trip with a proper tourism company (and could be haggled down) and my driver was amazing. I then contacted the driver directly for further trips.

I have to say after reading the scary reviews on google i was very skeptical but since we arrived until we left its been great, amazing helpful staff who will do anything for you, amazing clean beautiful hotel on the beach, brilliant rooms, the food was nice, fresh and amazing and with variety, the hotel was on the spot with everything, service,cleaning,catering,facilities,location. I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff from reception,cleaners,catering, assisting staff and all who made my visit an incredible stay.

The pools were very nice. In general, the facilities were well cared for, clean and inviting. Staff were friendly. The room was reasonably comfortable.

There's plenty of variety at meals, but during all but one meal, we found the food to be acceptable, but not particularly good. We found the bed somewhat uncomfortable. Having to go down to the beach to get and drop off towels everyday was quite annoying.

Nice all-inclusive. We got an upgrade to the better hotel in the compound. The 4-star is more raucous, with group activities and so on. Not great wine included with meals and the usual towel-reserving issues of such establishments. Very clean barring the odd insect, good sheeting, tasty food (specially the local stuff). Some staff a bit grumpy, but I don't blame them given the clientele!

Our stay at Bel Azur Hammamet was a delight from start to finish! The rooms were impeccably clean, and the room service was excellent, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The dining experience was a highlight, thanks to Chef Mahrez's culinary expertise, which added an extra layer of delight to our visit. The delicious meals were a definite highlight of our trip, making every dining experience memorable. No need to mention the sea and the pool , really amazing view and super clean and comfy. Again special thanks to chef Mahrez for the warm welcome

I went with friends. Our stay was amazing. The rooms were very nice, spacious and well equipped. We had a fridge, an electric water boiler, etc The hotel is located in a nice spot in Hammamet, near the beach. There were many swimming pools which we enjoyed very much. The food was amazing. A variety of choices and non alcoholic drinks were offered for free and an incredible ambiance. During the dinner, they brought local singer to play traditional Tunisian music. We really enjoyed that. One last thing, the staff were extremely cheerful, nice and pro-active.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and was especially impressed by the incredibly friendly staff. Mr Adel, Mr Saber, and Ms Amel stood out for their warm and welcoming attitude, always ready to help with a smile. The cleaning staff were also exceptionally hardworking, particularly those maintaining rooms 729–321 and 735–738, which were always spotless. Overall, both the staff and facilities were of a very high standard. The hotel’s location was also excellent, making everything easily accessible and adding to the overall convenience of the stay.

However, there were a couple of issues that affected our overall experience. On the last day of our stay, we were woken up at 9am by extremely loud drilling, which was very disruptive and inconsiderate, especially when guests are still resting. It would have been more respectful to schedule such work later in the day. Additionally, the bungalow we stayed in felt quite outdated and no longer reflected a 4-star standard. Some renovations and updates are definitely needed to maintain the quality and comfort expected from a hotel of this rating.

The hotel has a nice private beach and there are also pools in the facility. The breakfast was also nice overall. Staff has also been nice to us overall.

Probably 90% of the people in the hotel take the all inclusive option which attracts, most of all, families with children. In the morning you're likely to wake up at 7 or 7:30 AM because some kids will be banging doors and screaming. Nothing's wrong with such type of holiday, however, if you're a younger couple it would probably make sense to look for a different kind of hotel/experience. Also, some outside people go inside the hotel and try to scam you, not sure the hotel could do anything from preventing these people in their premises but just be aware of them in any case

The hotel is very nice, calm and peaceful with amazing sea views and great facilities including indoor swimming pool which is very convenient in winter time. The room with sea view is as advertised and is spacious with amazing views from the balcony. Maybe the furniture in the room is a bit outdated but that’s Ok. Food is very tasty and there is a big variety of generous options for the three meals for the full board (highly recommended). I also liked the musical evening event on Saturday. Overall I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Staff at the reception need to be less stressed and more welcoming to guests to give a comfortable feeling when you arrive (that’s basics!). The check in process was a bit chaotic and I didn’t find that pleasant at all. Something to improve in the future maybe!
