I had an excellent stay at Qala Hotel. The reception staff, particularly Mamed, was exceptional, very friendly, accommodating, and professional. He speaks and understands English very well, which made communication seamless. Mamed went above and beyond by helping me find the specific food I wanted around the area, and we even exchanged stories, which added a personal touch to my experience. The hotel’s location is ideal, situated within the Old City, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere at night. The breakfast was delightful, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Overall, my stay at Qala Hotel was amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming experience.

My stay at the Kala Hotel was very good. I would recommend this hotel to all those who visit Baku, Azerbaijan. The reason is that the location of this hotel is in the old city of Baku, from where you can easily go to the Public Park, Nizami Street, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, the Flame Towers, the Baku Metro, the Crystal Hall, the Carpet Museum, and their Flag Square. The reception staff of this hotel is very good. The hotel reception staff, Mohammad Abbas, is very kind-hearted and has good manners. The breakfast of this hotel is very good...

Staff are really nice and polite, they can communicate basic English with you and will try their best to help you. Location is near the metro, around 10minutes walk, then you can walk around and variety of restaurants are nearby. I really like the old town vibe and where it is situated. Our bolt driver was able to drop us inside old town and from our drop off we walked around 5 mins, we didn't have a hard time finding the hotel. The area felt safe and not crowded. Room is very basic, but clean and tidy. Overall, good value for a night stay.

Booked a double bed and we got twin bed.

Comfortable, reasonably clean too. Set in a quiet and picturesque alley. Friendly and reasonably helpful staff. Set in the lovely old town, with the Iceriseher metro station quite close by. Good value for money. Reception can keep your luggage when needed.

Just some minor but annoying things. The location on site and on Google Maps is totally wrong. I wasn't impressed by the staff's reaction to the above. They just blamed Google Maps. I explained that they can make an effort to provide correct location information themselves, but they just replied that they're "waiting for Google". Be sure to get the correct location from before. Old Town is lovely, but it's a maze once you're stuck at an incorrect location. The reception is in a different building to the hotel proper, and it's not always open. If you need reception services at a specific time (including check in), it's best to request this in advance.

Great location and breakfast. Our room had a balcony with a view to the small square outside the main entrance. The staff was very friendly.

The bathroom requires renovation. There is a hint of mold, likely caused by insufficient ventilation and cleaning. Additionally, the sound insulation between the rooms could be better.

Everything’s fantastic! Excellent location in the heart of the city (Old Town). Spectacular view from the balcony. Breakfast is fabulous-big variety, all fresh and delicious! The room is spacious and I loved the stone wall behind the bed. The owner Abas is super friendly, hospitable and helpful! He makes you feel like home. Highly recommended!

The biggest advantage is that it has a perfect location, located in the old city, and it is very convenient to travel around. In addition, the amazing breakfast makes every morning full of energy. The service attitude of the staff is also very good!

Fantastic location in the heart of the old city of Baku. Room 402 has a spectacular 270 degree view over the city. Great value for money. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

Stayed there for 7 nights and loved every minute of it. Location is excellent. You can walk almost everywhere, and Iceriseher metro station is also very close. In case you visit Baku for Formula 1 like me, the location is great and you can walk your grandstands in 10 minutes or so. Special thanks to Orhan for his efforts to make my stay more than perfect. Would definitely reccomend!

Facilities like kettle and mini fridge might be better, but that’s okay. There’s nothing that I didn’t like.
