The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the main road and the beach. The place itself is magnifique! The garden is beautiful, and the pool, yoga area, and overall vibe are really relaxing. The rooms are very spacious, and I was able to work comfortably from the coworking space. It’s right next to the reception, so it can get a bit noisy when new guests arrive, but the desks and chairs were very comfortable. The only small downside was that we had to ask a few times for better cleaning in the bathroom, as the water was getting stuck in the drain. Other than that, everything was great!

From the very beginning when I arrived, the owner Kerstin and manager Peak were extremely helpful and kind. They assisted me immediately with any questions or concerns I had. The property is located very close to a lovely beach with sunset views and a wonderful sushi restaurant. The grounds are lush with tropical plants and trees, which provides homes for the most lovely and melodious birds. I enjoyed the ambiance provided by the nature so much. The swimming pool is also fantastic. The room itself was very well decorated with artworks and very comfortable furnishings. Everything is well maintained and kept clean by the attentive staff. I was delighted with the four days I enjoyed there:)

Nothing to complain about at all.

I stayed in a garden villa and the room was incredibly spacious. I didn’t end up working but would be a perfect WFH set up with a desk facing the garden and good wifi. The yoga classes each morning with Kristina were great and so easy to have them on site, I also enjoyed using the pool. Mr Peak was always available and I was able to rent a scooter from the hotel which made exploring the island super easy. Ko Mak itself is beautiful, laid back and the hotel was close to all restaurants and beaches. Thanks for a great restful stay!

The garden is quite dark at night as a solo female traveller I would have appreciated more sensor lights when coming back at night (but this is very minor critique)

I only stayed for one night at Good Time Sports Resort with my son, but it left a lasting impression. We had one of the spacious villas, surrounded by a lush, well-kept tropical garden – absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The location is right in the center of Koh Mak, which means everything you want to see or do is just a short ride or walk away. At the same time, the resort feels like a quiet oasis. Even during our short stay, we could enjoy the lovely pool, explore the outdoor gym (which is surprisingly well-equipped!), and take in the calm vibe of the whole place. There are tennis and pickleball courts too, plus yoga in the mornings – you can really feel the focus on wellbeing and movement here. A special thank you to Kerstin, who is truly one of the warmest hosts I’ve met, and Peak, the fantastic resort manager. They make you feel right at home from the first minute. If You’re looking for something more than just a beach resort, this is the place. And if beach is what You want – they’ll even organize access to a beautiful private one. Wish we had stayed longer!

That we did not stay longer

Warm and friendly hosts. Great location, within walking distance of the main strip and some of the best beaches on the island. I stayed in a villa with a garden view. It was lovely….clean, spacious, bright, and well-equipped with lots of nice touches. Comfy bed. Cool and quiet aircon. Screened door and windows. Lots of counter and storage space. Separate sitting areas with a desk and chair and comfy little couch. Good lighting. Contained shower area with good drainage. Patio area with an outdoor clothesline and drying rack. Beautifully-manicured grounds. Clean and refreshing pool. Nice common area with drinking water available. Peaceful and quiet. Scooters for hire.

Not much. Aircon had a musty smell. Running it in Dry Mode before switching to Cool Mode helped. Shower water wasn’t hot. I was okay with warm showers so didn’t follow up…it may have been an easy fix.

From the staff to the location, this place was a real treat to me. I Have got the best room of the hotel with the stunning view all over the island. The manager gave me a good discount on it as it was low season and made sure I was happy to everything on the offer. The staff were all friendly and the owner went above and beyond to make sure I was having a good time on the island. She sent me suggestions on where to eat or drink or swim. The interior is the rooms is curated with such a good taste and the garden is extremely well Looked after. There is even a gym, a yoga Shala and a gorgeous pool to relax. I arrived thinking I wouldn’t wanna spent so much time on a such quiet island, but after 2 days I started making plans to actually move there!! Koh Mak is a Thai Gem! Thank you good time team for all your care and effort in making my trip wonderful 🥰

nice view even from the 1st floor, where our room was. room very spacious and bed comfortable. fridge. gym has a lot of equipment. pool was clean. staff kind and helpful, could rent a motorbike from the hotel.

bathroom could be cleaner and better quality of towels. cleaning service and changing the towels only if you ask. coffee corner, but coffe not free. expensive for the quality offered.

Great place to stay as a solo traveler, the staff with Kerstin and Mr Peak the manager was super helpful, friendly, attentive. Great location on the island between two main beaches. Cheap to rent a scooter. I loved this place and island so much I had to extend my stay here! Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Koh Mak.

Maybe the illumination in the night could be ameliorated as there are a lot of different types of accommodations and is not easy walking in the night from a place to another, Reception closes at 19

The hotel's location is simply stunning – with breathtaking views of the sea. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always helpful. The room is spacious and well-designed, featuring a small kitchen, a large living area with space to work, a very comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. All in all, a perfect place to relax and feel at home!
