The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the main road and the beach. The place itself is magnifique! The garden is beautiful, and the pool, yoga area, and overall vibe are really relaxing. The rooms are very spacious, and I was able to work comfortably from the coworking space. It’s right next to the reception, so it can get a bit noisy when new guests arrive, but the desks and chairs were very comfortable. The only small downside was that we had to ask a few times for better cleaning in the bathroom, as the water was getting stuck in the drain. Other than that, everything was great!

Warm and friendly hosts. Great location, within walking distance of the main strip and some of the best beaches on the island. I stayed in a villa with a garden view. It was lovely….clean, spacious, bright, and well-equipped with lots of nice touches. Comfy bed. Cool and quiet aircon. Screened door and windows. Lots of counter and storage space. Separate sitting areas with a desk and chair and comfy little couch. Good lighting. Contained shower area with good drainage. Patio area with an outdoor clothesline and drying rack. Beautifully-manicured grounds. Clean and refreshing pool. Nice common area with drinking water available. Peaceful and quiet. Scooters for hire.

Not much. Aircon had a musty smell. Running it in Dry Mode before switching to Cool Mode helped. Shower water wasn’t hot. I was okay with warm showers so didn’t follow up…it may have been an easy fix.

From the staff to the location, this place was a real treat to me. I Have got the best room of the hotel with the stunning view all over the island. The manager gave me a good discount on it as it was low season and made sure I was happy to everything on the offer. The staff were all friendly and the owner went above and beyond to make sure I was having a good time on the island. She sent me suggestions on where to eat or drink or swim. The interior is the rooms is curated with such a good taste and the garden is extremely well Looked after. There is even a gym, a yoga Shala and a gorgeous pool to relax. I arrived thinking I wouldn’t wanna spent so much time on a such quiet island, but after 2 days I started making plans to actually move there!! Koh Mak is a Thai Gem! nice view even from the 1st floor, where our room was. room very spacious and bed comfortable. fridge. gym has a lot of equipment. pool was clean. staff kind and helpful, could rent a motorbike from the hotel.

bathroom could be cleaner and better quality of towels. cleaning service and changing the towels only if you ask. coffee corner, but coffe not free. expensive for the quality offered.

Location in a tropical garden, possibility to use the fitness and the pool, discount on Muai Thai training, cheap rate for scooter rental, they have filter water and many accommodations with kitchen and fridge The extremely friendly owner Kerstin, I felt like at home

Maybe the illumination in the night could be ameliorated as there are a lot of different types of accommodations and is not easy walking in the night from a place to another, Reception closes at 19

Great place to stay as a solo traveler, the staff with Kerstin and Mr Peak the manager was super helpful, friendly, attentive. Great location on the island between two main beaches. Cheap to rent a scooter. I loved this place and island so much I had to extend my stay here! Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Koh Mak.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Good Time Sports Resort–so much so that we extended our booking. The grounds are peaceful, quiet and serene, surrounded by tropical trees and lush greenery. Perhaps our favorite thing was having access to the clean pool, basic outdoor gym and large covered yoga pavilion. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to the beach. We hope to be able to stay there again someday.

Unfortunately, the restaurant/cafe was not open during our stay. It would have been nice to have coffee and breakfast at the resort in their beautiful outdoor dining space, but it was not meant to be. Fortunately there are restaurants just a short walk away.

We stayed 5 nights in the suite at Good time and were very comfortable. The rooms & balcony were a good size. The balcony had a view over the beautiful gardens. The hot water shower and AC worked well, and there was a decent size fridge to keep our drinks cold. We were collected from the pier on arrival in a cute electric golf cart - bonus points for being green! The staff Mr Peak and Lek were friendly and helpful. We rented a cute scoopy scooter from Mr Peak for 200 baht /day in very good condition (hope in future there might be an affordable electric option too, better for the environment). It was nice that they had such beautiful grounds to walk about in and a swimming pool. We loved musing at the interesting & unique character of each of their other buildings scattered about the complex gardens. Daily housekeeping was available on request, as well as change of linens. We could also get water refills at reception , and buy an espresso for 35 baht (comes with a biscuit). The Wi-Fi worked well, great for remote working. there are comfortable chairs and tables to use, and a decent size wardrobe with a sufficient amount of hangers. The area is peaceful and quiet, with good beaches in walking distance as well as small convenience stores and a couple local Thai restaurants all within around or less than 15 minutes walk.

We had a lovely peaceful time & hope to stay again. Some of the buildings looks like they could do with a bit of maintenance and upkeep but everything was in working order.

I loved the intentionality of the resort, of how it is designed in nature and sustainability is clearly important. I love how you could hear the birds in the morning, the flora and fauna in and around the property, and how even small things like electrical appliances being all plugged out before using them were purposeful! I liked all the different featured like the shala, the gym, and the pool.

A beautiful, beautiful hotel. The room was gorgeous and charming, and so stylishly furnished, comfortable enough for a long stay, and with a view overlooking the whole island. It was magnificent. The staff were warm and welcoming, and helpful during our stay. Motorbike rental is available at the property. We wish we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend!
