This is a very professionally run apartment hotel. There is a management office on site, which is open 10-15 Monday to Friday. Emails get answered quickly even outside working hours. The facilities are new; the shared washing and drying machines were especially useful. I stayed for four weeks and got complimentary weekly cleaning and change of sheets. The studio had its own vacuum cleaner if you want to clean yourself. All in all I had a very good stay here and I will probably come back.

The studio apartment is small, it is more like a regular hotel room (although it has full amenities such as a full kitchen). There is quite a bit of construction work taking place in the neighbourhood and depending which way your windows are facing this may disturb you. In the summertime the restaurant next door has an outside service area right next to all the rooms facing the street. There was a continuous bad smell coming from the sewage in the bathroom.

The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable! I think the kitchen is well-equipped and the fridge is quite big! I liked the laundry system, it felt very well organized. The instructions to get to the room were also clear. The wifi was good. The ventilation on the bathroom was loud, but it was okay with the door closed and I eventually forgot about it.

It would be nice if they had an option to get soap for the laundry. If you are staying a week or so, it's not worth it to buy a whole bottle of laundry soap... Also, the lift feels like it belongs in a construction site.

I stayed in Uppsala for work for two months, and the Foundry Hotel was an excellent choice. Its location is ideal—very close to the hospital where I was working, with a lovely walk by the river to the city center. Both rooms I stayed in were spotless, which is something I really value, and they appeared recently refurbished and fully equipped with everything I needed. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly helpful and always welcoming with a smile.

Every was absolutely fine! It's the second time I stayed in this hotel and once again I appreciated the services. The studio was very clean and neat with all the utilities included. Nice communication with the staff (via email and in person). The location is okay, if you don't mind to walk a bit it's totally fine. (Aprox 15' walking to the city centre)

I would say the stairs and the thing we had to use two different stairs to reach the studio. One of them was a bit steep also.

It is a great place to stay within walking distance of the train station. Even if you get a massive snowstorm, as I did, you can get to the central station or busses. The restaurant near by is perfect.

Towels. I want a bigger one for the body and one for the feet when you exit the shower. You only get to thin, small ones. One for the fac,e one for the body. They could improve that. However, it does not limit the excellent experience of staying there.

1- The room is very big, almost like a house. 2-The kitchen has every electrical appliance(nespresso, filterCoffee machine, microwave, oven, refrigerator , electric cooker). 3-Although there was snow and storm outside, we were not cold and there is no heating problem. 4-There was a comfortable sofa set and television.

We stayed in room 12. This is the first room. 1-The headboard of the bed was placed on the wood panel wall where the main entrance door of the hotel is, so every time the door was closed or every time they tapped their foot on the floor to clear the snow, our bed shook and we woke up with a splash. It was horrible. 2- We stayed in the room for 4 days and no one came to clean it! But the room was clean enough when we first entered.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and had great facilities. It was very quiet at night and great for families. The location was excellent and close to the local parks and restaurants. The restaurant associated with the apartments was delicious and with a 20% discount for guest, great value. We left a purse in the apartment and the staff (Eleni) were very helpful in finding and retaining the item. Thanks so much.

The room was a duplex, the downstairs had one large sofa that can be converted into a bed for two, and a gallery with one queen size bed. The kitchen was fully equipped, everything was super clean and the staff was ultra kind and available for any question. They even prepared our room before the check-in time, as per our kind request. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Uppsala.

The hotel was a lot of time after 3 weeks. The staff was very helpful and the laundry area was good for a long stay. In addition, in my opinion, it was very close to the center and all the important points in Uppsala.

In the laundry section, powder would be very useful. Because buying the whole package once or twice was not very profitable.

Great location at a walkable distance to the centrum, kitchenette with basic equipment, fairly large fridge. Good wifi and smart tv. Staff responsive to queries via email.

Maybe slightly on the expensive side by Uppsala standards. Self check in is great, but travellers from outside Europe would find it difficult to figure out how stuff like the common laundry, garbage disposal etc work. More explanation on these aspects in the rooms would be helpful.
