Loved everything about this hotel. From the moment we arrived me and my daughter were greeted with a smile and shown to our room. I chose this hotel for the kids room and all the recommendations weren't wrong. Best hotel ever. The chalk board in her bedroom was a hit. She was straight on it. The basket of books was great. She loved the Tinkerbell book. The breakfast included was brilliant. Lovely food and plenty to choose from. The room itself was lovely. Very comfy beds, comfy pillows and a fantastic shower (some I've stayed at dribble out water) this one doesn't, it's brilliant. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and a short walk to everything you need. If you've questioned staying here, do it. You won't be disappointed. Me and my daughter will be back, and next time for a bit longer than a weekend. Can't thank the host Alex enough. She has been brilliant. Would recommend you stay here

Nothing at all

As a frequent visitor to Great Yarmouth, I've had the privilege of staying at a lot of the B&B's, they each have their merits, but each has left a very minor want, Henry's on the Prom has so far been my only true 10/10, impressing my partner equally as much! Alex was the host for our stay and she is absolutely delightful, bending over backwards to ensure that our stay was as good as it could be. The breakfast was fantastic, an absolutely perfect way to start the days with a variety that could be changed each day if so desired, honestly, do get the breakfast if you stay. I stayed in room 4 which is a first floor large double room overlooking the promenade with a genuinely good view of the sea. The decoration is fresh, yet the furniture is fashionably retro with niche little touches and lovely seating by the generously sized bay window. The room is also equipped with a decent sized under counter fridge which was an absolute god send as it was in the high 20's during my visit...no warm drinks or squidgy snacks, yay! The bathroom is compact and bijou, but still perfectly sized to negotiate, even though I'm 6 ft plus, and the power shower was surprisingly impressive, probably one of the best I've used! Great Yarmouth is my comfort retreat, but this place (especially if I can get room 4 again) will be my go to from now on!

The only niggle is a personal issue, absolutely no fault of Henry's on the Prom, the bed is equipped with a memory foam mattress which is sublimely comfortable, but I do get rather warm when it's approaching summer and memory foam mattresses are fantastic insulators, so bear this in mind if you get warm very easily.

The location is the winner for this accommodation, directly opposite the Britannia Pier, We had a sea view room and the view was perfect, It's a basic property but the decor was nice, and the wifi had a terrible connection and the tv signal kept freezing, we didn't raise this with anyone because we barely used either so didn't cause us a problem, but if you need wifi then that needs looking into, being able to get a parking permit helps and saves money compared to paying the meters, these are £3 50 for 24hrs from the host's, we would happily stay here again, and great yarmouth is worth a visit with lots on offer.

Wifi extremely slow and hit and miss when connecting. Tv channels kept freezing and really blotchy

It's the second time we've stayed here and it's always good. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and with plenty of clean towels, tea, coffee and sugar. The breakfast is fantastic and very quick as you order it the day before and tell them what you'd like. All the staff are happy, friendly and very helpful. We couldn't check in until the stated 4pm but they allowed us to register the car earlier so we could park in the spaces round the corner.

The only thing I could pick up was that the coffee didn't taste like filter coffee at breakfast. Literally that's it. This wouldn't put me off staying again though.

Lovely little place in a perfect location. The rooms are really cute. We had a family room with another room within it for the kids, it was perfect that they had their own room to get to sleep earlier than me and my husband. Alessandra was lovely and went beyond and above when I mentioned my husband's birthday was on the Saturday. I asked whether anything special could be done for him at breakfast maybe and she set up the breakfast table with balloons and a happy birthday banner and even bought a small cake with candles! Alex was welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. The bed was comfy and the room spotless. I loved the amazing view and the fridge in the room was really handy for keeping snacks and drinks in. Henry's is a 2 min walk to anything you need, I expected it to be quite noisy because of this but it was surprisingly quiet.

Car parking could be an issue if in peak season. You get a permit for parking near by but we still had quite a trek as nearly all the spaces were taken.

We stayed here before and we always book the same room. The toiletries in bathroom smelled very nice 😊

Parking. It’s in perfect location but no free parking around unless you’re lucky enough to get street parking. We parked in front of the sea life centre but unfortunately after checking out from hotel returned to the car to find someone had hit it and left damage so not the best car park. Would deffo recommend street parking if you lucky

The shabby chic look makes the property one of a kind so it’s unusual to all the rest. Alex is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble, food was amazing and the cleanliness was spot on. This is now my 3rd year coming here as it’s right in the heart of Great Yarmouth and opposite the beach. I have already started planning my holiday for next year with staying at Henry’s on the prom..

There is nothing to not like

This was my 2nd time we stayed at Henrys on the Prom and we have already booked our next stay, The B&B is very homely, it makes you feel very relaxed just like being at home, It’s also in a great location opposite the pier and the Full English Breakfast is amazing too. honestly the cutest little b&b I've ever stayed in. location is perfect as you're right on the doorstep of the pier and a really good pub called pub on the prom. parking is easy enough once the staff register you for 24 hour permit for only £3.50. we missed the breakfast but I'm sure that was lovely.
