I loved staying at Woodland Views. Aliya is a delightful host and very welcoming. My bedroom was spacious and comfortable and it was great to have places to sit other than the bed. I particularly enjoyed the patio area which, as the property's name suggests, has views of the adjacent woodland; there is a short and picturesque walk through here to Milton Abbas village. The breakfast is prepared to order and I particularly enjoyed the variety of fresh fruit. It's in a very quiet location but ideally situated for getting around this part of Dorset. I definitely hope to return.
Nothing.

I was the only guest at the time I found the breakfast was very good, fresh fruit selection was very good. The best bacon I have tasted for years. Great wet room and the small double room was ideal for me on my own. The host family were very keen to make my stay comfortable and there are several pubs nearby serving very good food. The house was warm and cosy , the radiators turned off and the windows opened so ideal for any requirements.
I don't look for problems and there were none obvious here.

Good sized room in a lovely bungalow. Terrace overlooking garden and woods beyond which would have been a nice relaxing area if the weather had allowed. Host was very friendly and gave us tasty cooked breakfast which was just right.
En-suite bathroom facilities were very good but would have been improved with the addition of a toilet roll holder. This is a nicely situated b&b for visiting Mid-Dorset, but visitors should be aware of just how long it takes to get anywhere in this part of the country! Rural serenity comes at a price.

We were made to feel very welcome and Aliya was the most generous host. The room was superb - very spacious, lovely seating area as well as the private patio outside, which would be wonderful in the warmer months. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep! Our breakfast was also a highlight, with beautiful fresh fruits and yoghurt and locally sourced bacon and sausages - very tasty indeed!
There wasn't anything to dislike

Friendly, welcoming host. Hearty breakfast. Lovely views out into the garden and wooded area. Not far from good road links, but in a very quiet area. The fully accessible bathroom was well-appointed.
Although the accessible bathroom was a real plus, it was a little disconcerting that it was situated right next to the breakfast area, separated only by a partition wall and a locked door. The switch for the electric shower is, unexpectedly, in the adjoining breakfast room.

Quiet and secluded, no traffic noise. Aliya and John were welcoming hosts. Showering facilities were good, no fiddling to get the right temperature and the bed was comfortable giving me three good nights sleep. Breakfast was sufficient for my needs, but more was available if required.
Being a wet room, the floor was for part of the day wet by the wash basin. I have used wet rooms before where a curtain has been used to screen other areas of the room.

The setting was beautiful, lovely to be surrounded by trees and hear birds singing. The room was charming, with a fridge and the bathroom was exceptionally spacious and suitable for people of all mobilities. What I liked best was the friendly welcome from our host, who made sure we were so well looked after.

This is somewhere your really need to try , you will not be disappointed , the owners John and Aliya are such nice people and very , very helpful . The room was perfect spotlessly clean , also the little touches are always appreciated , the quality biscuits by the tea and coffee , the fridge and the chocolates all lovely touches. The balcony was an added bonus and we spent time sitting out there which was very nice listening to the water feature and the owl hooting in the distance was an added bonus. Breakfast the next morning was lovely , cooked fresh and again nothing was too much trouble for Aliya , all in all a very lovely place to stay and we will be returning at some stage , many thanks to you both .

For breakfast there was an excellent choice of courses which were freshly prepared. Our hostess was most attentive so that we had everything that we wanted. Our room was large, had a fridge which was stocked with milk and a balcony overlooking woodland. The en-suite was clean and functional. The heated towel rail kept the towels nice and dry. We were made to feel very welcome.

My host could not have been anymore attentive and thoughtful. I Immediately felt very safe and comfortable, which was so valued because I am a young women travelling alone in a quite part of the country side.
I didn’t not like anything all was very pleasant. I was worried I couldn’t drink the tap water though, but when i asked it was quickly resolved and I was reassured it was safe.
