Classic rustic style Villa with very clean and comfortable accommodation. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. They were very accommodating to our cycling needs as we were there with a cycling group. Grazie mille!

The wasps around the pool! So many it made me too uncomfortable to sit around it. I have been bitten before.

A beautiful comfortable and special place to stay set in the hills away from it all. Beautiful views. We loved our stay and enjoyed the pool and the facilities especially after walking the Camino Via San Francesco for the day! Great breakfast too and staff were all very nice.

Dinner service on Sunday night was very slow so we were overtired by the time we were served our meal (well after 9:30 pm).

We loved everything about this place. The staff were amazing, accommodating and friendly. The place and the views were out of this world. It was a piece of paradise hidden in the hills of Umbria.

Stunning location, beautiful views at every turn. Wonderful rustic buildings have been given a luxurious makeover, in a secluded hilltop location. A perfect getaway.

Sat nav sending us up a dangerous dirt track to get there, but that’s not the hotel’s fault! There’s a perfectly good road that takes you to the doorstep.

What a magnificent and very special property! The location is superb, the buildings are so historic and beautifully appointed. Breakfast was excellent and dinner in the restaurant was superb. Our waiter was wonderful and highly professional. The reception staff were also excellent and spoke wonderful English for which we were very grateful.

Our only disappointment was some noisy people in the room above us but that of course is no fault of the hotel.

Clean and beautiful location, but a little off the beaten path. We would have loved to have more time there. Anna, at reception was fantastic. They have a wonderful breakfast.

We don’t mind walking, but the parking lot is a bit of a walk on cobblestone- if that would bother you.

The unique location in this well restored medieval hamlet with its views overlooking Città di Castello, the absolute quiet, the lovely landscaped gardens, the fine food offered at breakfast and available at the in-house restaurant, the friendly competent helpful staff were a real plus

I suffered a seriously painful giant wasp sting at the outside pool due to the undetected presence of a hive in a nearby olive tree. There were several bee and wasp "traps" hanging all around the poolside which should probably have been placed farther away from the lounging area. Also the entire perimeter of the pool was ringed by horse flies. Clearly this did not jmake for a welcoming experience and l had to give up on that entire facility with its lovely garden. Probably the unusual extreme heat is responsible for such rampant insect presence but better solutions are needed.

Wonderful location with views all round. Well kept grounds, pool, restaurant terrace and very well restored buildings. Food very good and generous portions. A very relaxing place to spend all day by the pool but also great base for sightseeing.

Could do with a few more towel hooks and rails in shower room.

Beautiful

No AC working in our room, was extremely hot 🥵 and noisy because we opened the windows to let some air in. Even though we let them know about how hot was our room, they didn’t seem to try to help us. Very uncomfortable night.

I have been several times before. The hotel sits high on the hill with reathtaking views. It oozes charm. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. The food is second to none, with a great wine list. A ery special place.

.Over a couple of stays I mentioned the shower head that needs replacing and the leaking shower screen that means there is a flood everytime its used, but still not fixed. Check out was a real challenge. The owners dog pees all over the place inside, on the curtains and table clothes. It happens regularly and often they are not replaced unless it is pointed out to staff. Having a dog pee on the curtain and tablecloth at breakfast is not great.
