It is a wonderful and peaceful place, clean, comfortable, it has the most delicious food that we’ve tried so far in Bali- Penida. Scenic view from your bungalow (actually everywhere at this property). Water supply was very good, wifi as well. Agus, the owner made the experience even better, he’s a real help since you book until you depart. We’d love to come back, and definitely would recommend this place to everyone. Talking about the road that everybody mentioned, I have something to say: guys you’re visiting a real island, live the experience, is once in a lifetime!!

First of all the view is incredible! Very peaceful location and a great size airy room with plenty of of privacy. I loved all the animals, expect to see dogs, cats, chickens & roosters roaming around. The ladies who look after the place and run the Gamat grill are so friendly and beautiful souls 🥰 Amok sunset is a 5 min walk away and a must visit! Gamat beach is a 10 minute walk away - remember to bring water as the hike up and down is a bit strenuous in the heat but the quiet beach is worth it. Agus the owner was so helpful and can arrange transport, motorbike, taxi port drop off/pick ups if required. I really loved my stay here and was quite sad to leave. I'll be back for sure 🙏🏼😊

I loved everything

Very, very, very welcoming staff. The owner is available for any requests, and will always search to find a solution that best fills your needs. The view is amazing, the rooms are nice and clean. There is Gamat beach very close to there (10-15min walk), which is an amazing and beautiful beach with really good food and super welcoming staff at the warung.

Breakfast is very basic. Maybe just adding some pieces of fruit will make it a lot better! The beach is very close, but also quite difficult to access. But trust me, it is worth it.

We loved staying here. The view is stunning and there is a great bar 2mins walk down the road. The road to the accomodation isn’t as bad as other reviews suggest. It makes it a way cooler experience

The property is stunning with the best views of the water and sunset/volcano. It’s calm and tranquil and there’s access to a nearby beach. The free breakfast was great and the staff were so lovely and helpful.

It’s quite out of the way so requires a scooter (and someone who can handle driving it down an extremely bumpy track!) There are some lovely local restaurants about a 5/10 min scooter ride away though! We had an issue with some kind of animal in the walls/roof at night which kept us awake, but we asked to be moved and the staff were really accommodating and put us in a different room with no issue. We really appreciated this.

The host was great and helped us arrange our boat there from Sanur, snorkeling tour, and taxi to get around the island. He was patient and helped answered all our questions. The view from our bungalow was amazing. It was the best part of the property. The property was close to Gamat Bay…approximately 10 minutes walk because you have to hike down from the top. It’s also a 5 min walk to the Ambok sunset restaurant which has a pool and an awesome view of the sunset. There is also a restaurant on site ran by a couple ladies who were also very nice and sweet. The WiFi was great as the router was in our room.

The room was a bit dark because of the color of the wood used to build the bungalow. We asked for a lamp and was provided with one. The location itself was a bit isolated and a bit difficult to get to due to the condition of the dirt road. However, the view made it worth it.

I could stay here forever, and almost did as I kept extending my stay, haha. The place is very peaceful and the view is incredible! It's really a place to relax. I see that people speak about the bad road to the apartment. It is a bit bumpy, but if you drive slow, you will be fine. I'm an inexperienced scooter driver, as I learned it on Nusa Penida. It is really not that bad as people say. Everything is very nice about this stay. Also the people who work there are very friendly and always helpful. The owner is also very friendly and always willing to help. It is also great that he can arrange the boat trip and scooter or a taxi for you. And I loved the dog and cats 😊

Gamat bay about 10 minutes walk on sealed road and good steps. Requires some moderate fitness level. Not for the lazy. Basic supplies nearby and pool club 5 minutes walk for those wanting more vibe. The amazing views from this property are immaculate. Waking up every morning to look out along the beach and hills is absolutely breathtaking. The staff go above and beyond for you, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and our aircon in our room on, any activity or adventure we wanted to go on the staff at the hotel organised and assisted us with. Pande was the most welcoming and supportive staff member at that facility. Every day he ensured our holiday was as perfect as we had imagined. This place will definitely be one that we return to and a friendship with the staff that was made will never be forgotten.
