This is a charming hotel in a quiet street in the centre of Dijon. From the outset all of the staff were friendly, professional and clearly very proud of their hotel. The hotel offers a range of high quality experiences such as an informative and enjoyable wine tasting of burgundy wines. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. Everything about this hotel speaks to care and attention to detail from a group of people who are passionate about hospitality.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent communication ahead of our arrival. We appreciated the early check-in as we arrived first thing in the morning. Cosy room that was warm and had a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities were provided. Good location - walking distance to center of town but still quiet. Recommend the wine tour. The wine tour host was very knowledgeable and provided interesting insights.

Note no lift (but we knew this when booking). Only minor improvement would be new/fuller pillows, and more toiletries.

The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bed was great.We had a wonderful coffee and tea maker in the room. We had a delicious breakfast each morning with a lovely and generous selection of food. We had a wine tasting in the cave and it was most enjoyable and very informative .They organised transport for us to pick up our rental car. It was very easy to walk from the hotel to all the restaurants and tourist places.

The only thing that could be been better was the internet which was difficult to us from our room. However if we sat in the breakfast room to use it ,it was fine.

Hotel was authentically old and beautiful and in a great location for a first visit to Dijon . Room was a nice size and recently upgraded . The aesthetic was a bit too modern for the rest of the hotel which was very historical in nature. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom had a nice shower with good pressure and temp of water and a window. Breakfast room was beautiful .

Breakfast was of good quality but of quite limited variety. Stairs were tough with a heavy suitcase . No bar fridge. A grab bar in shower would be good.

Communication prior to arrival was excellent, and we were able to check in early as our room was ready. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by two members of the team with big smiles! 😃 We stayed in room Chardonnay, which was tastefully decorated, bright and spacious with a large comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The bathroom was large with a decent shower (not always the case) and complementary toiletries. The air conditioning was welcomed as it was warm during our stay. There was a machine in the room for coffee and tea. And a fridge in the dining room stocked with extras, e.g, cold drinks, was available for an additional small charge. Continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful. With a selection of fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, yougurt pastries, etc. 😋 The hotel is ideally situated only 2 minutes walk from the centre. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you, team Hotel du Palais.

Everything was perfect!

The staff went above and beyond. They carried our luggage upstairs to our room, recommended an excellent restaurant for our first night, and assisted with breakfast, which was tasty and plentiful. All in all they were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Our room was well appointed and comfortable and the location of this hotel makes it an easy walk to the museum of fine arts, the ducal palace, shopping, restaurants and many other fine attractions that Dijon has to offer.

I have no complaints about this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Amazing location with only a few minutes walk to the centre of town. Rooms were really big, clean and with everything you needed. Breakfast was great and the kids Toiletries were a nice touch.

Nothing we didn't like just a suggestion. We stayed in the one bedroom suite as a family of 4. I think that the sofa bed should just be converted to a normal bed as the space is large enough and you can just sit on the bed to watch TV if you wanted to.

The location is great. Very central and yet on a side street, so it was quiet. The staff is excellent and very friendly and accommodating. Their own wine cellar gave us a great opportunity to taste some of the local wines and Leo was super wel informed. We had a wonderful stay!

Just a tiny thing, but important to me is that there is no space to put toiletries in the bathroom. Just putting a shelf or a small cabinet would make a big difference.

The property has an excellent location. Walking distance to town. The rooms have wine related names which is very charming. Our rooms had my favorite coffee machine

There isn’t an elevator but the staff are very accommodating with luggage. It’s a charming hotel and medieval looking from the outside but very modern and updated in the rooms. Very comfortable rooms.

Excellent croissants and some of the best breads we had in France. We love the historic house right in the old town and within a short walk from all the major sights. There is a parking lot near by.

We prefer slightly harder beds. But that's a personal preference. Don't park your car in the street illegally, not even for five minutes to get down the luggage. There is a police post close by and they are quick to give you a fine. Parking Saint Anne is a five minutes walk from the hotel.
