The new part of the hotel is very nice and the room is spacious elegant and comfy. Everything is very clean, and the location is very good next to a great beach (Peroulia). The stuff at the restaurant is very friendly. The new pool and restaurant have an exceptional view!

The hotel is very expensive for what it offers. At the moment it’s not fully renovated (the reception and the original part are still „living in the 90s“). The stuff in the reception is not very well trained nor very professional as one would expect from such price and a 4 star hotel.

This is our second visit to Colonides Hotel - our fist visit was back in 2019 before the renovation work. We thought it was an amazing place then, but now they have added the infinity pool and the new facilities, it is amazing. The staff were amazing and friendly and the food from the restaurant was outstanding.

The restaurant and bar were rather expensive compared to the local prices. Water was overpriced at 2euro a small bottle in the room and 5 euro at the bar for a larger bottle.

The infinity pool is spectacular! great choice for breakfast. We have eaten only once in the hotel restaurant. It is a bit expensive with only upper class wine choice but still worth to spend at least one evening.

The beach next to hotel is 100 steps down the steep staircase. There is another sandy beach 700m away from the hotel with deckchairs, umbrellas and service.

The two swimming pools are lovely and have amazing views. The apartments and grounds were very well looked after. The staff were friendly and helpful. The little beach below the hotel is unspoilt, quiet and one of my holiday highlights (note there are no sunbeds but natural shade in the afternoon). The breakfast was the best I have ever had. There were so many choices and items to appeal to every nationality as well as traditional Greek. It was brilliant.

The apartments are basic and don’t quite match the facilities. The small kitchens could be better equipped. The restaurant is overpriced and under whelming for the area. If it had been more traditional Greek food at a slightly cheaper price we probably would have eaten there every night as it is well designed. Drinks were also very expensive compared to anywhere else we stayed in the Peleponese.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this charming hotel. Although the guest rooms are somewhat dated in style, they were consistently clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, which ensured a pleasant and restful experience. The hotel's breakfast service exceeded our expectations, offering a diverse and high-quality selection that included fresh fruits, a variety of beverages, and an assortment of pastries — all beautifully presented and regularly replenished. The pool area was a particular highlight. It was spacious, impeccably maintained, and thoughtfully organized to provide both relaxation and enjoyment. We also took full advantage of the hotel’s private beach, where we appreciated the cleanliness, the availability of sunbeds and umbrellas, and the prompt, attentive service for food and drinks. The entertainment provided there added a lively yet tasteful touch to our beach experience. The pool bar was equally impressive, featuring a wide range of beverages and excellent service delivered by friendly and professional staff. The hotel is ideally situated, offering convenient access to local attractions while maintaining a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The surrounding area is picturesque and easily walkable, with several shops, restaurants, and cultural sites nearby. Most importantly, the hotel staff contributed greatly to our positive experience. Every team member we encountered — from reception to housekeeping to bar and beach staff — was warm, courteous, and genuinely committed to guest satisfaction. We will most certainly return in the future and highly recommend this hotel to those seeking a well-rounded, relaxing vacation with outstanding service.

Great place with stunning view of Messinian Bay and Koroni. Room (Junior Suite) was great & modern, private pool is the highlight. The infinity pool in the main area is great , accompanied with fantastic cocktails and snacks. What impressed me the more, the Pithos restaurant - the menu contains exceptional food with greek local products, elevated in a high level cuisine with very deep tastes, framed by the wonderful people serving, creating a great total experience.

This is a hotel of two parts. We were staying in the older part and whilst there was absolutely nothing wrong with the accommodation it felt a little tired and in a need of a makeover. That said, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The newer part looked very smart. The facilities such as the pool, the almost private beach, the arrangement for sunlounges on the local organised beach and the restaurant were available to everyone and all first class. And the staff were great, friendly and helpful without exception. All in all, a very pleasant place to stay.

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel! The location couldn't be better. But what truly stood out were the amazing staff members. From the moment I arrived, their warm welcome and genuine hospitality made me feel like a cherished guest. They went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and willingness to assist with any request was truly remarkable. This hotel's exceptional location combined with the outstanding staff made my trip an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return!

Everything was perfect

Very Nice accomodation with a very Good restaurant. Nice pools as Well. The possibility to use the Beach bedankt Peroulia is a plus.

The rooms are a bit outdated. Especially if you compare it with the rest of the accomodation. Prices of the drinks was a bit high.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. The breakfast was plentiful and served in the restaurant next to the pool.

The furniture in the room was outdated and could be updated.
