Loved the pool. Apartment A5 was great, up about 18 steps from the pool area. 2 balconies one facing the pool the other the town. 2 air conditioners one in the bedroom one in the kitchen/lounge area. Short walk down hill to the sea front beach/restaurants/bars/harbour. Parking at the top of Viva Mare is best, don't drive up from the sea front. Breakfast was excellent nothing was a trouble. The apartment was cleaned daily, new sheets, shower gel etc and to an excellent standard. Reception always helpful and always there. Foinikounta has plenty of restaurants, the ones in the street are slightly cheaper generally than the ones on the sea front however you could argue that the quality of food is better at the sea front restaurants. We didn't have a bad meal anywhere. Beach is fairly narrow, sandy and the water is clear and cool. There is also a supermarket in town.

Not much to dislike, Viva Mare is on a hill its short distance downhill to the sea/bars but its uphill coming back but after ones fill of the local wine it doesn't seem so bad. I guess if there was a horsey carty thing to give you a lift up it would be fine!

Really friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast lots of variety, and spacious accommodation with everything you need; they even supplied washing up liquid, towels and bed linen changed daily. A step above your average holiday accommodation with no extra charges.

Can't think of anything. Some people may have liked a kettle but we used the hob instead.

Great facilities, wonderful staff and a lovely pool. TVs in bedroom and kids sleeping area. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice over the two days stay. Short walk to the lovely relaxed beach and restaurants. Wonderful staff. Extremely clean! We had an issue with our shower head which was replaced instantly with a smile.

A sitting chair /small sofa in the bedroom would be nice to relax without having to use the bed to read watch tv. Couldn’t initially find the reception when entering off the main road.

This is truly an exceptional hotel where everything is perfect. Spotlessly clean and wonderful, genuine and kind staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The owners must be really pleased with all their staff who work incredibly hard to make Viva Mare work.

The hotel is built like cycladic houses and gives the feeling of being on an island. The whole installation is in very good condition and the staff is very friendly and polite. The city's main street ,where all the taverns and shops are, is a 5 minutes walk .

Some of the nearby buildings which are ugly and not preserved .these are not hotel's properties.

What a lovely place to stay in! The rooms were huge and sparkling clean, the pool was delicious, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff unparalleled. Oh and the breakfast, what a treat! Will be coming back again and again!

There's always room for improvement, but not in this case. I honestly couldn't find a fault!

Cleanliness. Staff service, attendance and attitude. Property maintainance. Everything was fresh painted and maintained. Any problem was solved instantly.

Mostly as an advice: The parking spot near the street had not fixed parking spots and several cars were occupying more than one spots. Though the staff was acting very quickly to solve any issue.

Great location in Finikounda. Rich and healthy breakfast buffet. Beautiful architecture and excellent facilities. Very helpful staff. Met or exceeded our expectations in every way.

We loved everything about this hotel. We felt very welcomed by the staff and the room was clean and well maintained.

What a find - Lovely location - beautifully finished in brand new White wash.. all the rooms have different doors and windows and matching furniture. Very Clean and tidy. We lucked out with our room - D4 - right by the pool and very big. Chrissa and the team were amazing. Breakfast is brought to your room to eat on your patio each day - a hang over from Covid protocol but they stuck with it and it works. Will be talking about this place for ages and recommending to all.
