This was a last minute trip and as it was school holidays everything was booked or overly expensive. The Pheasant Inn was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was very good and although the room was a bit tired it suited us as it was very reasonably priced and quite close to the town.
When I read the reviews it looked like the pub did some real ales, but unfortunately that was out of date information and there were only the usual lagers and beers available. We had one evening in the pub playing darts and drinking spirits and all was good. I would have liked an ensuite bathroom but unless we had booked two rooms the family room shares a bathroom with at least one other room. This did not cause any issues but meant chucking something on to go to the toilet and remembering to take a towel with you. I was happy with what we got for the price and would stay again if we are ever back in this area.

Perfect place near the Luton train station (1km walking + 10 minutes by bus) and near the Luton airport (1km walking + 25 minutes by bus). The room was clean, breakfest was nice. I can recommend it for visiting London and surroundings.

Clean room and close to Luton Airport.Car park on the back of the hotel.
I have arrived late around 1am due to my flight was delayed 3h and was standing outside the hotel for an hour, trying to call booking.com service and hotel itself.Booking.com people were not helpful and all(India staff) and after 2 calls I gave up. Nobody from the hotel was available as well… I have spent all night in my car outside the hotel …but paid for 2 nights. Shame …

Loved the friendliness of customers and staff on arrival, and the size of room was good. Lots of local things to do and a bus stop right outside!
Having a sen child with limited eating foods, was hoping for the tradional food which they no longer do anymore.. Having to venture out to eat wasn't ideal. They did suggest the chip shop down road but failed to mention that it was cash only. Also having to leave the room and go upstairs each time to use the toilet was frustrating at times. Having said all that, would possibly book here again. Can't comment on breakfast as I didn't partake.

First off it was an amazing pub with very friendly staff. The room was spacious. There was a kettle and coffee in the room which was nice. Water was also left for us
Room was right in front of the pub so sleeping before 11 pm was kinda challenging. Two single beds we were very far apart we were a couple. Bathroom was outside of the room. Showering required planning ahead.

Breakfast was good. There were plenty of options from cereal to bread and condiments, selection of hot and cold drinks. The host cooked us a fresh, hot, full English breakfast.
Didn't enjoy the shared bathroom, but that's personal preference. The shower drain was slightly blocked, but it wasn't terrible and certainly didn't stop us from enjoying our stay.

I stayed at The Pheasant Inn for a night in one of their twin rooms with a private shower. For the price, the room offered great value - it was simple but clean, comfortable and had all the necessities for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out. The location was also convenient, just a short walk from the train station and shops. There was some minor traffic noise being on the main road, but overall it was a quiet and relaxing night's sleep. The breakfast included in the rate was tasty too with continental and cooked options. For a budget hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. The Pheasant Inn exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for travelers looking for affordable accommodation in Luton. Thanks to the staff for a great hassle-free stay!

Warm welcome and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. This was amazing as I struggle to sleep away from home usually
We arrived a night so it was dark. We did have some trouble finding the car park. This isn't a dislike but more a small issue. A sign would make things easier to find the carpark

Front reception staff was friendly . Smooth check in process. Considering I booked last minute and then checked in shortly afterwards. Room was clean and spacious. The common areas can do with some ourhall and more comfortable stairs. Beds were comfortable and I had a good night sleep. Although my room was on the main road.sound proofing for that room could be better. Shower was clean and enjoyable. Excellent breakfast. Overall a comfortable stay.
Decore in common areas especially needs updating. Toilet needs a bin.only bin was in room.Full length mirror in the rooms would be beneficial.

The Pheasant Inn is a little hidden gem. A warm welcone from the staff on the off. They go above and beyond to give you a home from home feel. The atmosphere in the bar area, from staff and locals is so warming and inclusive.
The only negative I had, would be the wet weather, which is unfortunately out of their control...but I'm sure they'd sort they could.
