The staff were very attentive and would help with everything. The best was coming back from an early kayak tour to a breakfast ready and served fresh to your liking and order. The resort is very well kept and the sunset lookout is a fantastic spot and place to hang out.

The price of the meals are high with the hotel restaurant the only place to get food. But this is just simply something to budget for better next time. The food was amazing for what we paid.

Spent our 25th wedding anniversary on the resort. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was turned down every night including the mozzie net (net not required but made the bed pretty). The coral reef was worth daily snorkelling especially after sunrise.

Some guests didn’t know the meaning of privacy. Need to be warned not to include others in their contents.

The best feature of this resort is the house reef, which was excellent. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated, although decoration is probably due to be refreshed. The rooms have the added bonus of being on the beach. I had an excellent massage in the spa.

I don't agree that this is a 5 star resort, both in terms of facilities and service. Service in the restaurant was a bit patchy, there is no wifi in the rooms and the signal kept dropping out in the communal area, and I had some real issues with the private transfer and late check-out. The price was not good value for money, even acknowledging that you will pay a premium for staying on an island. I got the real impression that I was not the target customer at this resort, and I strongly recommend that you use the sister resort in Labuan Bajo instead.

The location was idyllic, loved the boat ride to and from the island (45mins). The sunsets were incredible and could be enjoyed at the sunset bar. The BBQ buffet was a lovely dinner evening and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the beach movie theatre. Snorkeling off the jetty was a highlight, see an array of fish and coral, plus we were lucky enough to see a turtle! We were easily able to arrange a full-day tour to visit Komodo National Park to see Komodo dragons from the dive centre on the island.

There is only one restaurant and no room service, but the menu has great variety as well as a kid’s menu.

Where to start? The manager Hubert is a great guy – he clearly cares about each and every guest's experience. And his team is fantastic – the nicest, hardest-working group of hotel staff that we've ever encountered. The room was fantastic, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The view from our balcony was like something out of a postcard – really a million-dollar view. You almost have to pinch yourself to realize it's real. The house reef is as good as others say. Our snorkelling excursion was wonderful, too, and Jodi was a great guide. In short, this is a dream destination. You won't regret coming here.

There will always be very minor annoyances at a remote place. Once or twice things were left off a meal (for example, they forgot the cream with the French toast, and they forgot the sambal with another dish). But these are a small price to pay for being in paradise – and it really is paradise. One thing they probably be should clearer on is the two different types of bungalows. Some are attached, and noise can be a real issue. You should know what you're getting ahead of time. Fortunately, I enquired, so we booked a detached room and loved it. But they should be clearer on Booking.com

Seraya island is so beautiful as well as Flores . In front of the beach there is magnificent corals with many fishes , so beautiful. The staff was very nice , we stayed 10 days .

The quality of the food is unfortunatly not really good , very expensive . Not like for the standing of the 4 stars resort . There are no aperitifs on offer too. Service can be very long . There are plastics on the beach wich is not maitained regularly enough . Very bad smell on the bathroom . My daughter swam in the pool and her swimsuit became green .

This really is an amazing place to stay. It really is beach island bliss, with the most amazing view of the ocean when you get out of your beach hut each morning! The private reef which takes all of one minute to reach was the best snorkelling we did all trip, and the food at the restaurant was incredible. Staff were all so helpful, organised some amazing tours and we were incredibly sad to leave

Only watch out is for people who are looking to go diving. Just because it's quite a small hotel, it's not guaranteed you will hit the minimum number of divers needed for the boat to go out, and we weren't able to dive one day. However, the dive centre connected to the hotel were brilliant in trying to help, and made sure on our second day we got to go, even with a different company.

House reef, amazing view, great bungalow.

Restaurant was very expensive and very average taste, expected way better being on remote island and having no other options for food (only next door resort, the same quality of food). Quality of services depended on how many guests were staying.

This place is amazing! Beautiful little bungalows along a white, clean private beach with possibility to snorkel right from the shore. We particularly loved their "house-reef" and surrounding natural beauty - exceptional. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. I was particularly impressed with the kindness and efficiency of the staff - a big bravo to them! The bungalow had everything we needed with a cute little open-air bathroom. Bedding was great. Whereas I was really happy with my choice of food at lunch and dinner, my partner's choices did not enchant him as much - the manager listened very carefully to this and promised improvements will be made. To stay at this wonderful little paradise on earth is a great privilege and I would definitely return!
