What a beautiful property, set on the side of a hill with an amazing view of the harbor and breathtaking sunsets. So beautiful that the place is full of Instagramers jockeying for that 'perfect picture' with little or no regard to others. The room was rather spacious with a comfortable king bed created by seamlessly connecting two queens. The shower is spacious but the water doesn't get too hot. Our room did not come with a refrigerator but the management team worked with us to have one delivered. In general the team was very responsive to all of our needs as we had some challenges with the room safe. Housekeeping is thorough, although they often left the coffee cup unrefreshed. We were in the B building which is a bit of an uphill walk once you get off the elevator on the sixth floor. There is a ramp/stairs that goes up 2 floors or you can go up one floor, cross a patio and then take some more steps up the last floor. At any rate you get some exercise going to and from breakfast and dinner. The hotel offers a driver for a fee, we had Hugo, who can shuffle you to various restaurants or take you on a tour of the area. There is also an inhouse travel agent to help you arrange trips to snorkeling cruises, Komodo dragons or elsewhere. The breakfast offering was comprehensive, complete with an egg station. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and again the views are spectacular. All in all it is a wonderful property despite being a bit off the beaten path and up a hill.

Access to English speaking staff was rather limited as was wine selections. As mentioned in the review, the site is on a hill overlooking the bay which creates a Mediterranean like ambiance that attracted a lot of Instagramers. Everywhere, people were setting up to take the 'perfect' picture which at times became a bit challenging when trying to access facilities or staff.

The breakfast spread was excellent, and the bed and pillow were comfortable. The view from the infinity pool was stunning.

The water heater only worked partially, but the water pressure was good.

Comfy beds and clean rooms. Staff were so kind and helpful. It was raining a lot and they always had umbrellas and organized a driver for us for dinner outings and getting to the airport.

Not a lot of meal options (especially for people with allergies). Several things were not available (like fresh fruit). The main pool was quite dirty, took away from the beauty of it. It is also open to the public so there are constantly groups of people going through and taking selfies. The other pool is located in between rooms, and there are only sunbeds at each room so it made it awkward to hang out there (my room was on a higher floor, not opening up to the pool).

The views here were nothing short of spectacular. The architecture of the resort especially around the pool area were incredibly beautiful. The sea view was well worth the extra, and we'll have lasting memories of the sunsets from our room. The Breakfast was superb. Great selection, and everything was delicious. We have a restricted diet, but there was still plenty to enjoy including 'made to order' eggs station, plenty of fruits and hot items. Also local health tonics which was a lovely touch.

We found the key service staff on reception weren't overly helpful. We were not able to check in one moment earlier than the scheduled time of 3pm, and when asked if we could check out slightly later due to a local disaster cancelling our flight.. they wanted to charged us 150,000 IRD per hour. That said, the young porters and restaurant staff were exceptional. There was a few disconnects at this property, some great staff, some not great. But you can see there are efforts to improve, including personal guest surveys. They also went to some lovely efforts for our anniversary which we really appreciated. We missed having any fridge and a safe in the room, along with a few basic comforts missing. Overall though, well worth the money paid.

Excellent location - amazing view. One of the best buffet breakfasts we have had the pleasure to experience.

In rooms; The toilet is next to the shower and doesn’t have a door to separate from bedroom. The shower water temperature was inconsistent. The main pool was not the cleanest. The lounge chairs at the pool were not shaded. This was probably for aesthetics. As with all properties near the sea, the hotel was in need of “touch up” maintenance.

I was captivated the moment I saw this hotel on social media a few years ago and instantly added it to my wishlist for my future visit to Labuan Bajo. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. The mattress and pillows were soft, the air conditioning was cool, and the hot shower had great pressure and heat. There’s also Wi-Fi. If you have a bigger budget, definitely go for a room with a sea view. The standard rooms, when you open the window, only show a wall! Haha. The design of the hotel is very stylish, with plenty of Instagrammable spots for OOTD shots. But the main highlight is the view. Even from the restaurant, the scenery outside is breathtaking. The food at the hotel was also delicious, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Honestly, I don’t have any complaints because everything was great for me. However, one minor suggestion: since we missed out on the breakfast buffet due to our early Komodo tour, the hotel kindly provided us with a breakfast box in a beautifully woven container, which I really appreciated. It would be even better if the menu included a bit more protein besides just eggs. That’s my only small suggestion.

Wow! The breakfasts have to be experienced to be believed! So much variety; fried fish and nasi goreng, roast chicken with spicy chili and lemongrass salsa, pancakes, french toast and waffles, eggs every way, japanese miso, lots of fresh fruit and even chicken porridge (though the latter didnt tempt me) Sitting outside on the rooftops looking out to sea - heavenly way to start the day

It was all as advertised, and in many ways more than I expected The only thing I didnt like was the volume of the music (80s) blasting through the outdoor speakers at breakfast and dinner time. It was kinda like being in a noisy nightclub which wasnt the vibe. They did turn it down when asked.

The surrounding view was stunning, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the dining area offered a pleasant view. All the staff were courteous,friendly and attentive.

It became quite hot during the day, as the air conditioning was not optimally placed. It would be more effective if the air conditioning unit were positioned on the balcony side of the wall to better cool the room. The lobby waiting area was also somewhat hot.

The hotel’s design is uniquely beautiful, offering stunning views of Labuan Bajo Island. The breakfast spread had a wide variety of options, all of which were incredibly delicious.

The cleanliness could be improved. While the hotel is slightly distant from the city center, this isn’t a drawback since taxis are easily available to and from the hotel.

Aesthetically beautiful with beautiful pool and eating areas. Amazing food. Super friendly staff. A bit disappointed with our twin room. No window and quite small. Bad smell coming from shower each day. Nowhere to dry clothes as not allowed to hang clothes outside. Not as cosy a feel as the Zasgo hotel which we preferred.

A bit too crisp and clean but lacked character. Not overly practical and small room
