Really nice rooms up the hill with amazing views, the pool was also really nice to relax and have a beer with the sunset. Rooms where well decorated, outside bathroom so expect wildlife around! Nice terrace with views also. Its within a 5-10 minutes walk to the city centre. If you carry a suitcase with wheels maybe its not your place, there are quite a few stairs to get to the rooms, but if you've got a bag no problem!
Breakfeast isn't too good. The place where you have it is nice with nice views but they could really improve the quality and quantity of the food.

Selini Hills was a wonderful experience, but not for the faint of heart. Our room was at the top of the Hill and it took 10 minutes of pretty hard climbing to get there... having said that, the view was worth it! Spectacular scene over-looking the bay below. Beware though, the "mountain goat" climb was with luggage... if you are not in good physical condition, this is not the place for you.
The climb. Very steep. The walkway from the mostly dirt road (street) was a broken up cement path. The place has incredible charm, very unique... but the room pictures must have been their best room. Our room was rugged, like camping inside a shack. The place could definately some upgrading!

I like the rustic style and feel about the place. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room had a fantastic view from balcony over the harbour. AC and fan in room which was good.
Several noise issues in surrounding areas which is not the properties fault such as a big event that was going on that day from mid day to about 2am with heavy base music blaring, 4am the Mosque across the road started its paraders and at 5am the roaster started to cry. So basic didn’t sleep much. Bit more attention to cleanliness could be done.

This is an absolutely Fantastic place !! Very trendy/rustic/hidden «gem», just beside the City Centre, 5-10 minutts walk, and you are in🤩🤩 Happy place, Happy people. Also one of the better places for SunSet, beautiful. You need to see this place. All needed equipment in the Condo, I must say, this is a positive surprice, way above what was expected. If you are a «Spoiled Pussy» and expect a 4-5 star Hotel, you can go elsewhere and be bored, here you’ll not 😎 Thanks !!

I have travelled extensively and the view from the villas is exceptional. Hands down the best view in Bajo, as not only do you see the beautiful harbour during the day, you also see all the lights of the Labuan Bajo township at night. I loved the rustic quirkiness and individual decor of the villas which blend considerately with the natural elements. The Cabin Suite was huge, sheets crisp & clean, a comfy sofa indoors & plenty of comfy seating on your private balcony where you can take in the stunning view over the pool, harbour & town. I had to move to the Tree House after 2 nights as the Suite was already booked for my other nights. I really did feel like I was living amongst the trees with a beautiful view over the harbour from inside & also the balcony where you can sit back & watch the amazing sunsets. The owner Marilena is also a fabulous organizer, so just let her take over your daily sightseeing & she will put you in touch with all the right local guides to show you around. It really made my stay, especially as a solo female traveller.
Nothing really. If I had to pick, it would be the very short hike up the driveway but you can’t have that amazing view without it.

Selini on the Hills is a beautiful property! We stayed in the newest suite and it was beyond our expectations. And the view was incredible. The interior and balcony had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The bed was really comfortable and there is a couch which helps separate the room. The host and staff were helpful and even planned a day trip for us on a rainy day. It’s only a five minute walk to the main street which was great, there was easy access to restaurants, cafes, and shops.
We used the pool on our last day, and it was nice and refreshing but could do with a bit of maintenance on the flooring. The breakfast was nice but there were only two options, omelette or pancakes, which on some days doesn’t suit taste. Every breakfast was enjoyable though.

Lovely friendly staff. Loved the room, pool and restaurant. Exceptional view. We enjoyed listening to all the different sounds of the town, sea and calls to prayer.. so different to the Nirmal street noise
Not a big deal but the shower head could be improved as quite a lot of the water went in various directions.

This was a beautiful, rustic stay. The location is amazing overlooking the harbour (just expect an incline to your room!) with beautiful balconies to enjoy the sunset. The cabins are beautiful and have an outdoor bathroom. We didn’t eat here but there is a restaurant onsite which looked lovely.

Character, vibe, location (albeit not for the unfit people, a lot of steps but hey, you go up the hill), views. It is not a 5 star hotel and it's not pretending to be. Build by hand slowly slowly to what it is now about 13 rooms - feels like a cabin on a tree house. Sustainable nature and great people running it. Happy with the selection- I'd stay again without a shadow of doubt.

Very quirky accommodation, the view was superb and the staff all very helpful and friendly
There were numerous leaks in the bathroom which although wasn’t concerning for a hygiene point of view, it was a bit soggy and yuk on the floor including around the toilet.
