Eco Tree Hotel is a charming Boho-style retreat that beautifully blends comfort with character. Nestled in a stunning location, the views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking — a highlight of our stay. Our room was on the smaller side, but incredibly clean, thoughtfully designed, and surprisingly comfortable. It had a very cute aesthetic with a modern touch that made it feel cozy yet stylish — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were exceptional — warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant also impressed with its atmosphere and offerings, making it more than just a place to sleep, but a full experience. If you’re looking for a place with soul, scenery, and standout service, Eco Tree Hotel is a gem worth discovering.

Everything was GREAT!

The staffs are very friendly and helpful, we are allowed to borrow towel for our trip to Waerebo, I booked the hotel actually just to sleep before the waerebo trip and to save my luggage in the room during the trip. The room is nice with a nice view as well and they provide quite complete amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap which is a good value of staying in this hotel. The location is also nice, the surroundings have a lot of places to eat and coffee shop, the surroundings reminds me of the vibes in Legian, Bali. They also have massage place and restaurant in second and third floor of the place, we tried their restaurant and the food we ordered were good. They also clean the room in daily basis which is nice.

The door to the bathroom can't be closed properly and no lock as well, where the closet is facing the door whereas the space between closet to the door is also tight, makes it kind of uncomfortable when one of us in the bathroom to do our business. The bed is not too comfortable but it's still ok to sleep if you need place to crash just to sleep.

We stayed at Eco Tree for two nights either side of 2 night boat trip. The hotel is characterful with super friendly and helpful staff. They were happy to store some of our luggage while we were on the boat trip. Don't worry if you don't get a room with a view because the view from the restaurant/bar over the harbour is spectacular. Food fresh and delicious! Convenient location. Don't stay anywhere else.

Good vibes and tasteful styling. Close to the port and on the main shopping street. Rooftop cafe overlooks the harbour. Makes a good base from which to explore Komodo and the islands nearby.

Not many complaints. These are minor issues: 1. It felt like our room was in a basement even though it was on the 2nd floor. That may be common to all places on this street, as they're built into the hillside. 2. The rooftop cafe had a limited menu.

the staff were lovely and the rooms were really nice considering the price. Location was also great because it was right in the middle of town. I did the massage at their spa (and while it was only a fan and no aircond), the masseuse was wonderful and the massage was so relaxing! We stayed here because we were stranded thanks to Mt Lewotobi, and when we managed to get a flight at the very last minute, all the staff were so helpful in helping us get to the airport ASAP. Extremely grateful for them and their hospitality.

The room is a good size for a budget hotel and there is free water and tea facilities shared in the hall. The shampoo and body wash provided in the bathrooms are lovely and the beds and duvet super comfortable. Aircon works well. The spa on site gives fantastic massages and the views from the restaurant are amazing for the famous sunset in Labuan Bajo. There is a very convenient shop and ATM opposite.

I stayed in room 15 first and during heavy rain the sewage system backed up into the bathroom leaving toilet matter on the floor in the shower basin and in the toilet. The sunset room 11 has a nice balcony but is not high up for the sunset the best sunset view will be from the restaurant. There is no luggage shelf in the room for a suitcase or large bag so if two of you are travelling together there will be limited floor space. The bathroom layout is a little annoying with the light switches and sink behind the door but not impossible to work around.

Clean and spacious, a perfect one night stay for a family of four, while waiting to board the Komodo national park cruise. Beds were comfortable. There was hot and cold water provided free of charge, coffee and tea. Restaurant upstairs with a great view and many more around. Grocery stores and coffee shops within steps.

Couldn’t check in any earlier, not even an hour. Our flight was rescheduled to a couple of hours earlier and we arrived at the hotel much earlier than expected.

Could not have asked for a better view!!!! Absolutely stunning. Super friendly service from start to finish. Welcome fruit juice, served with glass straws (nice to see our hosts care about the environment). We were served dinner and breakfast on our private balcony overlooking beautiful sunsets and spectacular sunrises. Rooms and bathroom are simple, comfortable, functional and clean. Hot water in the shower was great. Hardly any other tourist around, such a lovely part of the island.

1) The view was amazing at the restaurant deck - 2 floors to enjoy the magnificent view of the Labuan Bajo bay area 2) The western/italian food at the restaurant was sumptuous.

Flat screen tv in the room was "on display". No news channel or there was only 1 channel. Some renovation, hence sandy at the corridor - something unavoidable.

They help to book taxi if you need to , they also contact us before our trip , always answer all my questions

The taxi guy the pick us up get really mad when he know we already booked for our Komodo island tour . He was angry and keep saying we are dumb and not booking with him for cheaper, I got very scared and nervous the entire ride to the hotel, hope they don’t use him in the future
