Perfect location and gorgeous views of the harbour from the hotel. Good breakfast with great views. Perfect hotel position for walking out along the streets to cafes, eateries etc. Also very close to the Pasar Malam night market with fresh fish and seafood cooked on the spot and can eat behind at tables near the waterfront. Beer also available at some stalls or you can buy across the road at supermarket. Also a very good English pub along the same street, if you get tired of Indonesian food (not likely). Helpful and friendly staff. They also surprised my husband with a birthday cake and decorated our bedroom on his special day. Had read comments on booking .com about noise from boats in the harbour, and there were ear plugs left in the room from the hotel, but, quite honestly didn't think it was a problem. The occasional chug-chug from boats just heightened the ambience. Close to the airport so only 15 minutes drive. Would stay here again. Missing it already!

Laundry service not as advertised, supposed to be same day service. Had to chase up several times and then request them to bring to room, when they demanded cash payment !! Drone activity outside our elevated balcony. There needs to be a sign outside to say No Drones by the Hotel. Given wrong payment information on Komodo cruise with East Cruise. There are inflated rates for Foreigners. Also this trip is NOT suitable for seniors due to the lack of boat infrastructure. No walkway onto boats. Transferring boat to boat with the sea below, and scaling walls is NOT suitable for two 70 year olds. Very dangerous. Both the hotel and East Cruise should advise seniors. No duty of care.

Fabulous hotel with excellent facilities and lovely touches throughout. The spa was wonderful - very private, but with a sea view; the infinity pool was lovely for a sunset swim; the ataff were exceptional, particularly Darfo on Reception who was very welcoming and kindly allowed me an early check in. One thing to highlight - when I made the reservation through Booking.com, that website asked if I wanted to add an airport shuttle for a fee. I declined, and in fact when I got to the hotel they offered me a complimentary shuttle to the airport on my departure (thank you, Ramli!). So it is worth checking this with the hotel rather than automatically booking it through the intermediary website.

It was expensive for the area, but it is a beautiful hotel and was worth the extra!

Definitely location,literally 1 min away from main road and the harbour Property itself looks fantastic from outside but inside (room) you will see few bits and bobs which could be done better For example:I think in 5* hotel should have a quality new towels not gray and washed Also windows,not sound proof so you will hear everything from outside including ships,boats and you neighbours Also mould in the bathroom floor and on the bathroom curtain Positives: Very comfortable bed Very good Wi-Fi Free minibar with soft drinks replenished daily Very polite staff in front desk and restaurant Small gym with max.22,5kg dumbbells,good for quick pumping muscle session 😉 Good and tasty drinks and cocktails

I stayed at Meruorah Hotel for 2 days and 1 night — and I absolutely loveeeeeee it! 💖 From the moment I checked in, everything felt smooth, warm, and welcoming. The female receptionist was soooo professional and sweet. She explained everything in detail about our room and the check-in process, which made everything so smooth and easy. Her warm and polite attitude really set the tone for our stay. 🥰 Later in the evening, before going out for dinner, I spoke to a different receptionist (this time a male staff). He was also super professional and explained in detail about the restaurant we were planning to go to , including the menu, estimated pricing, and even a useful tip to double-check the price with the restaurant directly before ordering. He mentioned that sometimes there can be confusion with orders, so his advice was really helpful and thoughtful. It’s rare to see front desk staff who are this attentive and genuinely care about their guests’ experience, even beyond the hotel. I really appreciate both of them and their professionalism. 💖 The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with everything I needed thoughtfully prepared. The hotel itself has beautiful vibes, and the facilities were top-notch. Every corner of this hotel is beautiful! 💗 And the highlight for me was definitely the breathtaking Labuan Bajo view from my balcony. It made the whole experience feel like a dream! 🚢✨ Meruorah Hotel gave me such a memorable short getaway. I’m already thinking of coming back! We had a fantastic stay at Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo. The airport pickup was smooth, and we were warmly welcomed with drinks and smiles. The room was spotless, cool, and came with fresh fruit and a personal welcome message. The food was excellent – from a rich breakfast buffet to delicious local and international dishes for lunch and dinner. Special thanks to Febry for his outstanding service and help arranging a private tour. We felt truly cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

The room and bathroom were a big and had all amenities. The rooftop restaurant/bar staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating.

Not the hotels fault, but it is right across the street from a mosque so expect to hear the call to prayer during the day and night time too. The rooms are a bit soundproof but you can still hear faintly especially at night.

We stayed in room 2058 for 3 nights. Hotel offered airport transfer for 225.000 IDR for 4 people one way. We arrived at 1 pm but room wasn’t ready yet, so we sat in the lobby and enjoyed the stunning view until 3 pm. Room 2058 was a Phinizy Suite. Had a couch with TV area and dining table for 4. Bathroom was large size with tub & shower. View towards the ocean was superb! Staff are friendly and water bottles were provided daily! We also tried the Spa for a couples massage! It was 800.000 IDR pp and was wonderful! Would definitely recommended the Spa on the 6th floor. Restaurant is also on the 6th floor. We tried the Seafood Buffet on Thursday - they grill fresh fish that you can select from. The buffet food itself was ok. Price was 355.000 pp + drinks if I recall correctly. Great Location with plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The Harbour/ Port for many speed boat tours was about 5 min walk away.

The only downside is that you can hear the boats and ships. Ear plugs are provided in the room for it. Didn’t bother us too much but if you’re a light sleeper it might wake you up.

It's such a beautiful setting. The hotel has some of the best views of the sunset in the town. The rooms are lovely, new and spotless with a nice layout. The breakfast for a Westerner was Okay, it was Halal, so there was no pork bacon or sausages there is an egg station for fried eggs and omelets and they were constantly making freshly made waffles and pancakes. The Asian selection was fab, with a live noodle station as were the sweets and pastries. There is a cappuccino machine so you can get your fancy coffee fix and they also have a small selection of freshly prepared juices and regular carton juice. The buffet dinner was around $26 and fine if you don't want to leave the hotel but there are so many amazing food options within a short walk regarding alcohol expect to pay at-home prices or more but again there are so many bars within a short stroll. The location is right on the port so there is constant noise from boats 24/7 I would suggest a mountain view room if you wish to avoid this, we choose to stick with the port view and got use to the boats very easily but are both not fussy sleepers. (the hotel did provide earplugs) I would happily stay here again.

There was nothing I disliked.

The room was spotlessly clean, even the windows and the glasses, which is actually very rare in indonesia - or at least in my 4 months traveling here, it never happened to me. The room is big and the view on the ocean is nice. The barbecue on the rooftop (which they do every saturday evening) was amazing. One of the best meat we ate in indonesia so far. Also the buffet was varied and the price was really fare. It had live music what made the evening perfect. Also breakfast was good and they have a real and good cappuccino for which they don't charge extra.

One thing we found wierd was the management personel of the hotel that was sitting in the restaurant and were there for every meal. Acting like kings and getting all the attention from the staff. We almost had to fight to get drinks while there was a parade of waiters serving them. For the breakfast in the morning we had to search and ask everytime to get a coffee. And to get eggs we had to wait for all the managers to get theirs because they took all the space. Also I have to say that the airport shuttle is with 225 000 IDR way too expensive! It's a 1.2KM and max 10 minutes drive! Go on the street and find easily cheeper. For a such high standard place and such a short drive, one would expect an airport shuttle to be offered for free.

My stay at Meruorah Komodo in Labuan Bajo was the perfect way to end my Flores adventure. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the stunning architecture and beautiful setting. The hotel is truly an oasis of luxury, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I stayed in a standard room, which was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The room also had a balcony with stunning views. The food at Meruorah Komodo was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every meal I had there, from the breakfast buffet. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. On my last day in Flores, I spent some time exploring the hotel grounds and taking in the beautiful scenery. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Meruorah Komodo. The hotel is truly a gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Labuan Bajo. I give it a 4.5/5 rating.
