Excellent location. Central walking distance to harbour and ferry. Warm welcome from staff. Excellent communication regarding airport pick up and drop off. Room clean and comfortable. Airconditioner very effective Breakfast included. Lovely area on roof terrace with good options. Fresh cantaloupe and watermelon the main highlight for a vegan. Not the the hotels fault but be aware of loud music every night for a few hours from roof terrace of hotel next door. Also the external loudspeakers from the mosque will definitely wake you in the early hours Wifi very low signal captured by iPad antennae but not iphone. Prob just my room. Staff extremely helpful Would definitely recommend. Good value

Nice little place in a great location in downtown Labuan Bajo. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was on the smaller size but was perfectly adequate for our needs. They give you a pitcher of water for check-in and there was a water cooler on the floor for refills, which we appreciated so as to reduce the use of single-use plastics. The water pitcher had a white stain around the rim though. Could just be from calcium deposits if the water is hard, but I opted instead to just use my own water bottle. We didn't get one of the rooms on the higher-floors that has the greenery hanging down over the balcony, but thought that was aesthetically pretty.

You'll definitely hear the adhan from the local mosque, but this will be an issue anywhere in downtown Labuan Bajo, and you should bring earplugs if this would be a problem for you (probably a good tip for anywhere in Indonesia). Other than that, the (free) breakfast wasn't very good. We don't really have high expectations for a free hotel breakfast though.

Fabulous! Staff. Very welcoming and helpful. Room opened to a Porch, very restful and nice view. Beds were "oddly comfortable"...one of those things you can't really explain - slept well. Room was large, bathroom clean and shower Hot with good pressure. Breakfast was very pleasant, top floor view, nice Ocean breeze. I typically don't use "Hotel Concierge" services but they made it a pleasant experience, arranging a 1/2 day tour to the "Caves" and around the Island a bit. Dive shop and Shops a short walk. Stayed 2wice, same room, even nicer the 2nd visit.

No elevator, heavy (dive) bags + old dudes. Room attendant helped carry them thankfully.

The hotel has a modest looking entrance but the interior is very nice, the rooms are large and good functioning air-conditioning, the bathroom has a good strong shower with constant hot water. The reception staff speak good English, if you have cannot speak Bahasa Indonesia. The hotel has a very good location, is about 15 minutes drive from airport (pay circa R70,000 for cab to/from airport as of June 2024)/ The hotel is close to the harbour for boat trips to Komodo National Park but is also very conveniently located to the main tourist area for shops, ATMs and restaurants. Very close by is Bajo Rental (turn out of hotel, turn left and walk a short way down the street) where you can book your boat trips to Komodo National Park. Mercy, travel agent is really helpful and has good English. Otherwise, Komodo Lodge is a good 3 star hotel and the location is outstanding.

There is one down side and this is not to do with Komodo lodge. As to be expected in Indonesia, the call to prayer is a feature. In 25 years of travelling all over Indonesia, we have never heard the call to prayer at such loud amplification as from the main mosque closeby. This volume is like nothing we have ever experienced in Indonesia, it is very very loud - louder than normal; and the call to pray is also accompanied by short sermons. Be prepared for this.

Comfortable rooms. Good location. Great view from the breakfast restaurant. Friendly staff. Restaurant on site serving lunch and dinner at reasonable rates. Good excursions offered by the hotel.

We were on the 3rd floor and it was quite a climb to get to our room.

Great location to easily walk to harbour, market and to atms etc. Nice view from the top level where breakfast served. I stayed in 3 rooms. Best room was with a balcony. Staff very nice and helpful and good airport transfer.

Bit noisy with mosque speakers very closeby and music from the hostel next door but pretty quiet after 10pm. There's a big difference between the deluxe twin and standard room wouldn't recommend standard.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was just perfect and its location on the roof overlooking the harbour was a wonderful way to start each day. Even on Christmas day the staff helped us arrange a tour and transport! It was within walking distance of the port making it easy to get to our arranged activities that started early in the morning. A wonderful place to stay while exploring the wonders of Komodo.

We had a short stay at Komodo Lodge before our Komodo boat tour. The hotel is very nice and clean, above our expectations. The area for breakfast has a beautiful view.

This is not the hotel's fault in any way and while being respectful of the religion and culture in Indonesia, it's good to know that the call to prayer speaker is fairly close to the hotel and is pretty loud at 4am in the morning.

Staff was amazing!! All lovely and welcoming🥰 Breakfast was good, the savory choices were different every day, fresh fruit. It starts at 6am so very useful if you have to go to tours in the early morning. The view from the terrace at sunrise is wonderful! Everything clean, they have hairdryer and mini-fridge. Would totally recommend🙏🏼

Since it’s quite close to the center, the minaret can be heard from there and it can be a bit annoying at night. But it’s all part of the journey🙏🏼

Good place to stay if your going for the Komodo tour, there is not that much to do. But we found the food that they serve downstair really nice and tasty. Its a small room and has everything you need, it's a little out dated but everything was clean so we were fine with that. Great place to stay!

Room is a little bit outdated especialy the bathroom. Also we needed to get the locker key from the reception would be nice if we got this with checking in.
