The location was excellent! Very clean beach, beautifull garden, stunning views. It is a little outside of the busier area of Labouan Bajo but there is an excelent transport arrangement from and to the hotel which will get you there in a few minutes. In the evening, it is nice to walk back because there is a dedicated but unused bicycle lane. And the staff will help you with every request and they are all very good at their job!

The beds may very well be the largest we have ever slept in ! Wonderfull. A tiny bit too hard to our liking but that is a matter of personal taste I guess.

Absolutely loved this hotel! We had an amazing stay. The room far exceeded our expectations with so much room, the biggest bed ever and great bathroom. Super luxurious for the price. The whole hotel is wonderful, the pool very big and facilities nice. The restaurant is good and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We came with the plan of staying three nights and ended up staying another full week because we loved it so much.

The beach is nice for hanging out but the water is not somewhere you'd want to swim, cause the water is a bit muddy there. Staff could be trained to be a bit more spontaneous, not sure whether this was due to lack of English or cultural difference, but they seemed very unprepared for any spontaneous interaction and kept to what seemed like very rehearsed actions and sentences.

Out of town right on the beach. 45 min. Walk. Spacious comfortable accomodation. Good a/c. Needed in LBJ. Comfortable super large bed. You could play football on it. Large bathroom with great shower recess. Lovely swimming pool. Good selection of chaises at the pool and out on the sand under trees. Great sunsets. Breakfast buffet more than adequate and great value if not included in the price. Dinner menu reasonably priced and some fine dishes. Good cocktails. Dining room lovely and close to the beach where the sand is groomed/swept everyday. Staff are friendly, polite, efficient and helpful. Shuttle into town or the airport. Staff can organise motor scooters, trips, laundry etc.

You have to pay for the shuttle into town and the airport. No happy hour. Add the cost of taxis to the room charge because it’s unlikely you’ll walk to town and back on the one day. If you walk, take an umbrella or raincoat in case of storm. Ramadan month. Call to prayer can keep you awake but there are mosques spread across the town so it’s not just an issue here. Property built about 20 years ago showing its age but still delivering everything you expect at this price point.

The room was great and the bed super big and very comfortable. The room was a generous size and the shower enormous. The garden outlook was pretty and it was quiet at night. Tea, coffee and water was readily available. The resort has a low plastic footprint and offers decanted water, which was great. The restaurant was in a perfect sunset location and the meals were a great price. The breakfast buffet was hearty and varied with eggs and waffles also available. Staff were very friendly and helpful and suggested a Grab rider for a quick trip to town, which I appreciated. Lovely pool and beach access that also offers shade and lounges. I was also able to stay in the grounds after checkout as I waited for my transfer, organised by them, to the airport.

The resort offered such great service and value for money. My only criticism is that the grounds could do with some love. The garbage bins are tired and could do with a nice timber surround. Some of the outdoor furniture near the restaurant needed to be replaced or repaired, similarly the information board was broken and could be removed. The spa curtains could be replaced as they seemed old. Garden beds and pots needed weeding and garden lights were in need of attention or repair. These are small considerations that when attended to, would elevate and complete the resort feel.

Very clean, and pretty! Big, spacious rooms with big balconies and toilets. Very pleasant staff members who are always very responsive and helpful. They can also help arrange day trips to Komodo National Park. We were in Labuan Bajo for only 2 nights, and were out most of the time so we didn’t get to see the hotel in day time. Restaurant was good, with quality food for very affordable rates. On our 2nd night the Air Conditioner stopped working, but the staff responded as soon as we raised a complaint, upgraded us a to a bigger room and gave us free airport transfer in apology. In short, immaculate service!

It’s a couple of miles outside the city centre and harbour area, but the staff at hotel can arrange pick ups and drop offs, as well as there are bike and motorbike rentals 2 mins walk from the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay here. Very nice resort, friendly staff, large rooms with comfy beds and good shower. The location is nice and quiet and town only ten mins away by scooter. Well looked after beach area. We swam in the pool rather than the sea as it didn’t look very inviting! Pool was lovely and good size for lap swimming. Our package didn’t include breakfast so can’t comment but we ate had lunch and dinner in the restaurant which was pretty good. Would recommend staying here whilst visiting the islands. We did a day boat trip and they pick you up from the hotel and bring you back again too so location not an issue .

The WiFi was terrible. You have to constantly log in every time you pick up your device . We were here for 3 nights and were trying to organise trips and travel etc and It drove us nuts , very frustrating. Reception said it was a problem with WiFi in the area but it isn’t, it is their log in process. It doesn’t need to be password protected- it’s such a big resort and everyone there is a guest so it’s not necessary. We’d seen other reviews about the bad WiFi but didn’t think it would be that bad but we were wrong . Advice to owner - get it changed ! We would have rated this resort 10/10 if it hadn’t been for this issue !

I loved everything! Puri Sari is a fantastic choice for those seeking a quiet and comfortable place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet still within a 10-15 minute drive by car or motorbike. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden and features a lovely pool. I also enjoyed the beachfront restaurant. The food, especially the Asian dishes, was delicious and affordable. Everything was very clean and thoughtfully designed. Staff members were absolutely amazing! Thank you all for your hospitality and kindness 🙏🌹

First of all, Osin, the head receptionist and a fantastic concierge, was our guiding light at the hotel and made our stay an even better experience! The hotel is wonderful. They offered us a free room upgrade, and the facilities are excellent – pool, restaurant, breakfast, etc. :)

We did notice a few small areas that could be improved to enhance the guest experience even more. At the restaurant, the staff would serve us but never asked if we wanted dessert or something else after the meal; we had to request it ourselves. Regarding the massages, the older lady was fantastic, while the younger one’s service was quite lacking. Lastly, the receptionist from the past two evenings was rather rude and unfriendly.

I stayed in this hotel a couple of times, once in a normal way and the second time in a Villa. Both were very good, but treat myself to a Villa (very sensibly priced) was worthwhile. They are superb The staff were universally friendly. The food is simple but good at this price point. The grounds are extensive and not crammed with buildings. The pool is pleasant. For a significantly lower priced accommodation the Puri Sari represents excellent value, I think! Unfortunately my wife could not come due to the eruption and they transferred the validity of her arrival day over to me at a later time of the month when they could have just taken the money. I very much appreciated that generous gesture and so made sure I returned and stayed an extra night in a villa.

It is a much quieter place than the next-door Sudamala, and a star or two less. Sometimes places like the Sudamala are my preference but I’ve spent a lot of money on this holiday and so thought I’d take a punt on the Puri Sari and was not disappointed with this pleasant, great value family run Hotel.

We loved our stay here and were so happy to find it exactly as described and as per the photos! All of the staff were fantastic, the rooms were cleaned daily and the bed was very comfortable. It was especially helpful having an onsite restaurant (with decent and reasonably priced food), and the buffet breakfast was good. Oh, and the sunsets are gorgeous!

There isn't much within walking distance, but we knew this when booking and easily hired a scooter to get around.
