I was drawn to this hotel by the offer of a free airport shuttle. The hotel is clean, and it has a lovely garden filled with beautiful flowers. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with soft, clean bedding. The air conditioning works well, and the hot shower has good water pressure. Plus, there's Wi-Fi! The swimming pool and café are located by the beach, offering stunning sunset views. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate, with both local and Western food options. The staff are friendly and helpful.

However, one downside is the beach. Despite the beautiful views, the beach is unfortunately littered with trash from nearby areas. I hope the hotel takes the initiative to clean it up, as it’s a valuable asset, especially with such a gorgeous sunset. Also, the location is a bit far from the city, so guests will need to take a taxi or a Gojek to get to the town center.

Close to beach, pool and food good too. Best thing was the staff who were very attentive and competent.

A little pricey (Bintang 100k) and needs more food options around it. Have to walk/ride towards Labuan Bajo for restaurant. Also bathrooms are ok but could do with an upgrade or severe clean.

Really enjoyed my 4 days. I had a villa room which was spacious and spotless. Huge king bed as well. The pool was great but could probably do with a few more sun beds. The beach was nice to look at but you probably don’t want to lay on it or swim in it. The hotel keeps there portion of sand clean though. Breakfast was basic but tasty but the indo food for lunch and dinner was great. The Gado Gado was delicious. The hotel is about 10 minutes out of town. $17k on a Gojek or Grab. Bikes only no cars for either company. I rented a scooter via the hotel at $100k per day. Staff are super nice. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

Breakfast quite simple, boiled and fried rice, two kinds of fruit juices from cartons, sausages and bacon slices. Every day is similar. Cooks sunny side up or smashed eggs, pancakes and waffles. Room service is good, every day is polite and convenient. Hotel has a well-kept garden area and a small beach. You can order in the restaurant local and european cuisine, free barbecue and tools are provided. Free transfer service from and to the airport.

Breakfast could be more varied. Please fix pool filter system and pump. Most rooms without balconies and terraces.

We were kindly upgraded to a Villa room. It was well appointed and had a fantastic view. Great location away from the noise of the town. Beautifully kept beach and grounds. Good selection at breakfast. Well priced for other meals. Highly recommend the grilled oxtail. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are kind and helpful.

Could do with a few more sun loungers.

The hotel has wonderful landscaping outside and around it. The staff is very friendly. The rooms were very spacious and clean. They give you big beds and cold A/c! The pool area is nice and the kids loved the beach. The breakfast is large and yummy! Our family of 6 had 3 rooms and was very comfortable for our stay.

The pool bar/restaurant had very high prices. We went just outside the hotel to coffee shop/cafe for more reasonable prices and great food. The beach on either side of the resort is terribly littered with trash and junk. It’s unfortunate, but it ruins the ambiance of the area.

Good breakfasts and the menu, amazing staff (all) and management (Freddie). One thing is it's not a hotel for the beach. At the beach in January, at least, is not for swimming. Water is not transparent blue. The pool is good! Rooms are big. Next to the hotel,around 300 m you can find the car rent - https://www.superbajorent.com/ - the only one in town that offers car rent without driver, as well day trips, motorbikes, car with driver. Don't look at google maps with search Car rental, most of them are not even there. We tried it, half day was lost. Good price, fantastic staff. Lucas is amazing. Take trips to Komodo Island, it's amazing !

The pool is awesome, staff so nice!! It was empty during my stay. I appreciated the free black coffee and tea in the reception. Breakfast included in my room rate - fruits awesome, eggs by order otherwise super simple buffet. If you are not a picky eater it’s ok, but I wouldn’t like to eat here for many days in a row. Free transport to and from airport in a car was a great deal and no fuss, also included in my room rate. Very good price performance!!!

I think your experience highly depends on the room you get, they are generally big but some struggle with humidity - maybe ask for a view first before committing to a room. My first stay I had a room un second floor which hald mold and was quite worn out. Second stay I had first floor and the room was much cleaner and better! You can walk into town in 30mins, which I did during the day, but took a bike grab at night (solo female traveler)

We originally only booked to stay two nights here as we were not sure of our plans, but ended up booking an extra week. Restaurant is really good; good selection of food and drinks at really reasonable prices, ate here many times and never became unwell, everything seemed fresh and cooked to order. The pool is nice and well maintained. The rooms are big and airy with comfortable beds and good showers. Housekeeping offered daily if you need it.

The only small let down which is no fault of the hotel itself, is the properties either side of Luwansa have a lot of junk and trash on their sections of the beach, which spoils luwansa’s beach a bit.
