Very peaceful and isolated location on a hill with a stunning view of the Labuan Bajo Port from the reception/pool! Comfortable bedroom/ensuite in the villa. Free driver from villa to Labuan Bajo and vice-versa. Fresh fruits for breakfast. Helpful staff

Villa Domanik had to be accessed via car as it sits on a hill - but this was not necessarily an issue as the villa provided a free driver to Labuan Bajo. Unsafe to walk/bike to the villa due to the road conditions.

Everyone who walked into the main dining and reception would be mesmerized by the view. Our driver and guide and even myself were busy taking pictures the moment we stepped in. It was truly breathtaking. Quiet spot away from the busyness at laboan Bajo. Felt like we were one of the very few customers there but probably because we are at the tail end of quiet season. It’s great! Rooms are spacious so it was good for our family of 5. Free shuttle to the little town ship was handy, save $ and convenient to go out for dinner or quick shopping trip. The staff were friendly and service oriented. They even set the table for us when we ordered delivery for dinner. Breakfast served was decent. They were made to order. We were well fed.

The property deserves a lot more TLC than it is currently receiving. The interior fittings are old and not in good conditions. Kitchen tap sprayed out water in all directions; kitchen cabinet door do not close we. The wire nettings to keep mosquitoes away should be replaced with tighter nettings. The Aircon aren’t working well as the wooden slabs that form the wall of the building are warped due to age and humidity. Perhaps good high ceiling fans should be installed instead. The ac in our room definitely requires servicing as it was making noises. With all the up market hotel and development coming up at LB, a property, with only breathtaking view and friendly staff, would not be able keep up with the stiff competition and might eventually fade away.

Beautiful view, stunning location out of town on the hill overlooking the sea. We liked the big breakfasts, the friendly and helpful staff, the infinity pool, and the very nice bungalows.

Of course the main advantage is also a disadvantage - the whole idea is to be away from the hurly burly of the town, but then you can't just nip out to the shops. However they will run you in and out of town, so that was a great (but necessary) service. Also, you have to decide whether to eat dinner in the hotel at breakfast time. So that requires a modicum of forethought. However the one time we did eat in the meal was very good

This is a hidden gem, big room and gorgeous views from the property. The property itself is managed well, with refill water available in your room and well kept grounds. It is a bit secluded if not almost hard to find. The property is a 10 min drive away from the city center but therefore secluded from the noise of the city. I think the distance is not well travelled by foot, as there is a lack of sidewalk, however the property offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the city center until 9.30 pm every day. The staff were very kind and accommodating and the breakfast was good with a couple of options available.

The shower pressure in the room was very weak with no or very little hot water available.

Everything. The location was fab, the room was well equipped, cool, free from bugs!, the bathroom was a great design, the dining and lounge area was perfect for relaxing, the pool was a delight, the shuttle into Labuan Bajo was really convenient, and all of this in a property with the most amazing view. We ate dinner one evening and it was delicious, but the breakfast also needs to be mentioned for its quality and freshness.

The WiFi was a bit in and out in the room. Previous reviews have suggested there are lots of bugs. We didn’t find that at all and weren’t troubled by mosquitoes, wasps etc. That’s not to say there weren’t any, it is a tropical island after all, but there weren’t any issues in the bedroom or generally. It took a while for the hot water to arrive at the shower-head, which was only a minor niggle.

Amazing view and scenery, well attended garden, beautiful pool area and incredibly friendly staff. Perfect for quiet getaway and i doubt many places can beat the beautiful sunset view. Shout out to Dedy and team, at one point I lost my phone and they went above and beyond to help us find it, such kind and attentive staff members. They don’t pretend to be a polished hotel, there’s nothing pretentious about the Villa but the service you get is 5 star! Communication is super easy via WhatsApp it’s like having a personal concierge. We stayed in a bungalow and the view from our bed is breathtaking. Simple, but fresh breakfast everyday. You can order food to the dining area which has an amazing view. Well sized pool and outstanding landscaping. Free shuttle to town is useful too. The slope down is steep but doable with a motorbike. Highly recommended!!

The location is outside of the hustle and bustle of the town, it’s quiet and has the most beautiful views, a very well cared for garden, pool, very nice and helpful staff members and truly feels like a small paradise! This was the second time we stayed at Villa Domanik and we would definitely come back again. They offer a free shuttle to town and back which is very convenient as other taxi drivers do not know the place very well and it does take about 10-15min to drive to Labuan Bajo’s main street. The breakfasts are very delicious as well with various options you can choose from, fresh fruitplatters and juices, and if you would like to eat there in the evening, you can tell them in advance and they cook a delicious dinner.

The pool area was well-maintained with comfortable loungers, perfect for relaxing under the sun. Breakfast: The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes, ensuring a great start to the day. The breakfast was prepared before serving, offering a delightful spread. The staff was patient and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax away from downtown, this hotel is perfect. They offer a shuttle service that you can schedule for transportation around the area. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking. Keep in mind, though, that you'll need a car to get anywhere else. The hotel feels like a countryside retreat just minutes from downtown.

I didn't like that there was a lot of dust in the curtains, and the clothes seemed to be of poor quality. Additionally, I noticed cobwebs in some areas, which indicated that thorough cleaning might have been lacking.

the villa itself was a good size. the rooms and bathroom were comfortable. the airconditioning wasnt too strong so during the day it was warm and at night, the master room wasnt too comfortable for sleeping. the kitchen was convenient. the bathrooms were big and clean.

airconditioning needs to be serviced. there were some large lizards in our villa which is too be expected in a place like this but just gave us a bit of a shock. the location is a bit further out of town but its not a big deal because the property provides a shuttle to town as needed. need to go to town for meals. restaurant on sit provides snacks.

The hotel is clean, has a beautiful view, and has easy access to the town via the kind shuttle driver. The property supplied us with towels for the pool and to take on tours, and they packed breakfast for us to take on the day we left early for a tour. Breakfast was delicious and vegetarian. We appreciated the water dispenser in the room.

Communication was a bit spotty at times but did not impact our wonderful stay. We knew from reading other reviews that the running water might run out in our bathroom, and this was quickly fixed when it happened. It might have worried us if we did not know ahead of time and would be helpful for guests to be told this when they check in. We found it super helpful to tell the awesome driver Milke when we wanted to be picked up from town. He was always prompt and also transported us from/to the airport. If you do not tell him directly, there can sonetimes be a slight delay in receiving confirmation about pick up via whats app.
