Great service, fantastic restaurant and comfortable rooms. Great value for money.

Wasn’t clear in the description that you can’t swim at the beach

The resort is in beautiful grounds and the gardens are immaculate. The pool area and beach area both lovely. The room was on the second floor - no lift- It was large, clan and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was split in to separate shower, sink and toilet. The staff in the restaurant and bar were first class, the food in the restaurant was very good.

Not all the services stated are available. Unable to get an airport transfer, unable to visit the sister resort, unable to book excursions. When asking about this the reception staff were very curt and off hand about it. The design of the balcony reduced any privacy and other guests smoked (none stop) on their balcony.

Sudamala is the perfect location to rest and enjoy Labuan Bajo and the Komodo islands. The pool, bar and restaurant are amazing, we really enjoyed spending time there. The room was very confortable with a large bed, big bathroom and fully equipped.

The restaurant was expensive, especially the diner buffet (1.3M IDR for two). If you want to organize tours, motorbike rental etc, you’d better do it yourself. For instance, we went through the staff to rent a motorbike, which was more expensive than usual, and the bike came with almost no fuel.

The staff was very helpful (thanks to them!). The room was very clean and comfortable, exactly as we expected. The location is also great, coupled with excellent facilities (pool, etc.). Also ample choice for breakfast.

The quality of food and the wine at the restaurant could be improved; they were not on par with the level of the establishment. We also encountered some communication issues at the spa (asked for one treatment but got a totally different one).

We liked everything. This property is mind blowing. The spacious rooms, the courteous staff, the location (huge premises with a private beach), the pool (large infinity pool with a floating bar), the restaurant - every aspect gets a 5 star Note: Labuan Bajo isn't the type of area where you'd have a lot to do outside the hotel, other than the Komodo tours et al. Hence, better to book a nice property and not a BnB. To that extent, Sudamala fits the bill perfectly

I had an Absolutely amazing stay for a week here. People are very friendly and service was excellent. They also have an Indonesian food menu which was amazing. V stayed at the sea facing Ringka room which was very well located to access the sea, lounge chairs, pool and the bar. Lighting inside could be better near the mirrors. They can improve the view of the sea seen from the room as well. Overall a great stay!!

Sub-optimal room design. No bedside tables, insufficient chairs in the room and insufficient lighting near the mirrors. having the hand faucet inside the room also meant the other person wakes up when i needed to brush my teeth for an early morning dive.

We spent 8 unforgettable days at Sudamala Resort and we can honestly say this was one of the most perfect holidays we’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality that we felt at home instantly. The villa was stunning — spacious, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated with local touches, and incredibly peaceful. The service was beyond excellent. Every member of the staff greeted us by name, always with a smile, and they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. The restaurant also deserves special praise: delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented meals every single time. The spa treatments were also outstanding — so relaxing and professional. We left feeling rested, happy, and already planning our return. Thank you, Sudamala, for such an incredible stay! You exceeded all our expectations.

We arrived at Sudamala after a five day liveaboard, so we were looking forward to comfort and cleanliness. Sudamala did not disappoint. They had really comfortable beds, lovely showers, and spacious, clean rooms. The bar had really nice cocktails, and the pool was lovely. Breakfast had a really wide selection, and the coffee was really good.

Sudamala is 10 minutes away from Labuan Bajo by car, and about a 40 minute walk. We were quoted 5x as much for the hotel driver to take us into Labuan Bajo as Gojek, so we did end up using ride calling apps instead of the hotel driver.

The resort is gorgeous,.really beautiful and unified with nature. The room is spacious and the design and furniture of the room and hotel surroundings is very high end and with exquisite taste along gardening and SPA.

The food needs improvement a bit. It is a 5 star hotel so I would expect more fresh juices at breakfast, more cheeses (no cheeses at all unless you ask for them but they are industrial so fine for 3 stars but not for 5), when ordering a burger, Medium rare should be available. If they really want to take it up a notch. But I wish to emphasize that the food is good and fresh.

The hotel service was very good, the staff was also very helpful. Very good hotel ambiance, the hotel was clean and had halal food. Maybe could improve the gym to be more equipped, but the rest is superb and would definitely recommend others to stay here. Very close to the town and has a car/motorcycle rental place nearby. Maybe could improve more by having more choices and variety of food for breakfast but nevertheless, still good breakfast.

The gym could be more equipped instead of just basic cardio machines. Breakfast could have a bit more food variety. Would have been nice if the spa had a male therapist too :)
