I love the history of the hotel and the brick all throughout the building. The record player was a nice addition. I just wish they would have had some Sinatra or Louis Armstrong. Our room was the Sunset on Broadway Suite and it had a romantic feel for our anniversary. We sat in the outdoor terrace and enjoyed a bottle of wine from the local winery. There is a dollar general market right across the street which was super convenient. We will definitely stay again! I did notice the ceiling light had some cobwebs, but everything else was perfect!

Property is walking distance from Main Street. Lobby is very eclecric and clean with a vinyl record player and large selection of records. The hotel only has 8 rooms and was extremely quiet. Our room was very clean and the beds are pretty comfortable. We loved the rooftop area but unfortunately didn't get to enjoy it due to rain. We've already booked another stay for the fall.

Everything was great. Just know there is not an elevator so if you have issues with steps you will want to book one of the 100 rooms on the main floor.

Beautiful hotel perfectly situated to enjoy the town. The rooms and baths are huge, clean, and very tastefully decorated. For me, it was an unexpected, oh wow, experience. Parking is on the street and was no issue. There are plenty of spaces and no crime in the area. The price is amazing. The one potential issue would be the lack of an elevator. If the first floor is booked, you'll have to take the gorgeous stairs. Extra points, a lot of extra points, for providing a real coffee pot with fresh ground coffee that doesn't come in a plastic bag and big porcelain mugs to drink it from.

I'll be making a return trip to share this gem with my wife and would really like it if they provided robes. The shower is too nice, causing showers to last several minutes longer.

The 4pm check in time….3pm is so much more convenient and it gives your guests one more hour in such a glorious place!

This hotel is steeped in history and absolutely stunning!!! The Chandler exceeded our expectations. It was gorgeous, accommodating, VERY clean, had a great vibe, made checking in and checking out a breeze, help was only a text away and it was one of my most favorite hotel stays in the U.S.... and I have stayed in TONS of superb hotels.

So excited for the gift shop options (and would love a snacks & alcohol for purchase option,) but the hotel was flawless.

I love the atmosphere especially the outdoor patio space, the coffee cart with the best coffee available… yum! The downstairs was great with wonderful records! Also, I love the proximity to both the town and the river! Get your walking shoes ready because you won’t need to drive while in town.

This is a beautiful hotel with lots of character. We loved the record player and old albums in the lobby and the rooftop seating area.

The only thing we did not like was that our room was very dark and there was no place to set things on( like a table or counter) other than the little coffee stand.

The hotel is in a great location. Close to Main St and the river. Centrally located to just about everything you'd want or need in Madison. The room was clean and well done, the common areas were also great. We will definitely be staying here again.

If I have any complaints they are minor in comparison to everything else which was great. Complaints: The walls are a little thin. We could hear the person next door coughing and the folks talking in the next room. 0-10 ten being unacceptable = 2. 2nd complaint: not a lot of room to put stuff like on a table or dresser. The night stands were nice, just didn't seem like enough places to put cameras, pocket stuff, purses, and the like. 0-10 = 3. A small table would've been nice. Overall, not really much to complain about. Thanks Matt for a wonderful place to stay.

The town of Madison is fairly small so the location was perfect. Within walking distance to the river front, shopping and restaurants. The atmosphere of the hotel was wonderful in keeping the authentic features of an old factory but with the new features of a boutique hotel. The furnishings, wall coverings, and amenities all set the atmosphere.

The beds were a bit firm.

It was beautiful, had character and charm, felt unique and was easy to access entry at any time. The location was perfect for walking to the shops, cafes and restaurants, while also very near the river. There is a Dollar General across the street which is also very handy!
