We had a great summer stay at Hotel Walser! We were scheduled for a late arrival when reception wasn't manned, but received instructions for nicght check-in in advance. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which really made us feel welcome. Relaxed atmosphere and nice bar/relax area The location is very convenient — close to the bus station where the free shuttle runs frequently. Breakfast was generous and varied — a great start before heading into the mountains. Not a surprise, but be aware that the hotel is close to a trafficked road. Dream of becoming a traffic controller? Get inspired all night long... Also, the room didn’t have air conditioning or fans, so summer nights can get warm.

Loved the location of hotel which was close to the bus station and about 1km from the Dolonne Gondola and 4810 Ski hire (this was a super hire store which seemed very new with a beautiful cafe, shop and airy boot storage area downstairs). Breakfast was good for the price paid, good buffet and plenty of choice. Hotel wasn't far from the shopping precinct area and bars, about 5 mins on foot uphill. La Padella Pizza restaurant about 2 mins walk, fantastic food and reasonably priced. Staff all very friendly and hardworking to make your stay enjoyable. Cleaning of rooms with new towels everyday!

Could maybe have done with a jug of milk at the cereal bar but other than that we were very pleased.

Enjoyed our stay - the hotel is close to the main bus station so makes it easy to get to on public transport, and only a few minutes walk into the town (although up a steep hill). The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Great aperitivo between 5pm and 8pm every day and drinks well priced (for Courmayeur). The garden area was a lovely space to chill out and never too busy.

Breakfast was pretty basic. No air con. Rooms at the front overlook the dual carriageway (very noisy when the window was open due to no air con). Bedrooms a little dated.

The staff were wonderful and so friendly. Lady at bar very knowledgeable and passionate about wine. The beautiful complimentary charcuterie platters with our drinks. The spa was great and the mint tea and cakes left for us a beautiful touch. Breakfast, bacon, scrambled eggs, croissants, the most amazing cake selection and fab coffee., Thank you everyone for making our short stay such a pleasure.

Nothing I disliked. Perhaps rooms a bit too warm but thats not a complaint as it eas snowing outside.

Charming and cool decor. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Land Rover Defender as a shuttle bus! Breakfast was good - rooms were warm and the footlocker had a boot warmer which was great. Location as so close to town and the restaurants. The bar area had a nice buzz about it in the evening, not lively but just right.

Needs a toaster (but there is a grill thing, a bit like a Dualit rotary).

The hotel is in a great location - a 10-15 min walk to either lift and with plenty of restaurants in the locality. The staff were great - cheerful, funny and extremely helpful, including the ski instructor who took an absolute novice from our group and made them enjoy skiing for the first time! The rooms were all you needed and great value for money.

The breakfast could be better, including keeping the scrambled eggs warm

Most friendly staff in whole Courmayeur, extremeley dog FRIENDLY, good drinks and snacks. They want to cuddle our dog the whole day 😍

Some guests who thought they are alone in the hotel… You should optimize your Communication about dogs…First i thought „o my god the hate dogs“ because not allowed to leave them for a minute alone in the room….because you love dogs and want to see/cuddle them all day Long 😉😉😉

Lovely and helpful staff and great breakfast-highly recommend! Very clean, close to the town centre. Really appreciated a welcome drink.

The only downside was the location near a busy road - with no AC in the room, and the window opened to get the room a bit less stuffy, the noise from the road was a bit disturbing.

It can be a bit noisy as next to a busy road but they supply ear plugs which only 1 of us used (as she does everywhere due to being a light sleeper) and it wasn't an issue for us

So close to the bus station, which is important to us as we take it to Arp Nouvaz to continue TMB after a rest day. Our 4th floor room has balcony that has stunning views of the mountains and distant glaciers. Breakfast from 730am has bacon, salami, boiled eggs scramble eggs, and lots of dessert options. Coffee, tea, juices, and wait staff offer espresso and cappuccino. It is a great value to have breakfast included. And it is close enough for us to walk to grocery stores and restaurants.
