The hotel has a nice design, it's super clean, and comfortable. The staff was nice, the breakfast was decent, and they accommodated my pet without a fee which was awesome. The design and newness exceeded my expectations for this price point.

I was in one of the rooms on the opposite side of the building from the lobby and the internet didn't work well. When I spoke to the staff, they said they are aware of the issue and will be boosting the internet soon. So, hopefully won't be an issue in the future.

Beautifully redone inside. Very comfortable friendly staff. Would completely recommend this location for family visiting. We had a nice staycation for Memorial Day weekend. They do need to extend the curtains all the way around the window to keep out the morning sun. The furniture had some wear and stains but very tasteful design and overall comfortable. Very nice for the money was a very pleasant experience!

Need to do some landscaping in the front and reinvest in replacing some furniture.

The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. My room was clean and spacious.

Lack of both courtesy and safety protocols when maintenance needed access to my room at 4:50 AM. There was a leak occurring in the floor beneath my room. Rather than the front desk calling me to say that maintenance was on their way, giving me a chance to at least put clothes on, There was an angry, non-uniformed man pounding on my door, I did recognize him from seeing him working around the hotel earlier, who came in and checked my bathroom. There was no chance going back to sleep, I packed up and checked out. When I told the desk agent that she could let maintenance know that they could access the room and she knew nothing about it! She did say sorry, and that the manager would call me. He never did.

The location of the room was right off the interstate, easy access to the hotel. Parking was available. Lobby very attractive, room was large and comfortable. Great beds, large bathroom and shower. Really good stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Breakfast offered hot scrambled eggs and sausage, varied juices, Good coffee. Hot waffles. Lobby is dining room very attractive. Breakfast could have offered a few more healthy options.

It was clean and employees were friendly.

Bathtub/shower safety could enhance by having a non-skid mat on the tub bottom and at least two grab bars installed INSIDE the bath enclosure. There is nothing in the shower to hold on to. It’s a real slip hazard. Also, the shower curtain was not wide enough to keep the water inside the tub, especially at the angle of the shower head. There was quite a puddle of water on the floor after my shower.

Hotel staff seemed flustered and gave me a wrong room key (to an occupied room) multiple times. It got worked out, but as a customer it was frustrating to be issued a key three times and on the third time have an occupant of the hotel room I was trying to get and open the door to say the hotel room was occupied. They issued me another room and everything was fine but again a customer service faux pas.

Beautiful hotel and experience! Elkotel holds a security deposit of $100 for a guestroom & $50 for pets. What a perfect solution for careless, disrespectful patrons &/ or their pets who damage their lodging's property. We highly recommend Elkotel!

There wasn't a single thing that we didn't like about Elkotel, except that we wish there were more hotels like it.

The breakfast was great. The staff was very nice and accommodating and I absolutely loved that they are pet friendly.

The breakfast could have a little more variety. The beds are not queens, they are full size beds. That needs to be accurately advertised of course but it would make for more comfortability actually having queen beds, there is plenty of room. And the bathrooms need fans.

The breakfast was simple, but yummy. There were eggs, sausage, bagels, yogurts, cereals, juices, teas, and coffee to pick from. The breakfast area is comfortable and I enjoyed starting the morning here.

My only complaint is that the pillows were really flat. I think that providing more pillow options would make the stay even more comfortable !

All of the lobby staff were wonderful, there was a mix up with if my dog could be in their cage during the breakfast time since I had already checked out. Front staff didn't have an issue with it but another staff did. I had to rush my breakfast a bit so my dog wasn't out in the truck in the cold but otherwise I love the elkotel.
