The owner was wonderfully friendly, went out of his way to help us with dinner recommendations, and also helped troubleshoot the TV in the room (Direct TV does this stupid thing where it needs to be reset after 12 hours of not being used and its terrible for hotels). The room was surprisingly large and the way the pillows and towels were displayed you could tell the owners really care about the place. If you're in Elko and need a place to stay I would totally recommend Stay Express Inn.

This place is a hidden gem. The rooms have been renovated and are very nice. Extremely quiet area and felt very safe in the surroundings. The room was very clean, bed comfortable and roomy. The owner/operators were very nice, personable and attended to each guest to ensure they were happy. They smiled a lot and truly care about your happiness. I travel a lot all over the country, staying in hotels nightly at 6 weeks at a time. Very refreshing to be acknowledged, spoken to and in a place that is inviting. Will definitely stay again.

Everything was great!

Not a breakfast person so I just had a donut and coffee. This thing I liked the most was how friendly and accommodating the manager Pete P was. He is a very likable and professional individual. I also liked the fact the room was a non smoking room and smelled fresh and was very clean. I also asked fo a ground floor room and got it. This was important to me for health reasons.

I have absolutely no complaints.

Outside is an older motel, but our room was very nice. Clean, everything worked well. We had a smaller room with a king bed, but roomy enough, Bed was comfy, shower worked great. The woman at the desk was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very reasonable price for a very nice overnight stay.

Minimal continental breakfast- packaged muffins, cereal, fruit. But for the price of the motel, that is what I would expect.

The only thing I didn't like was the water was soft. Which isn't a bad thing just not for me. If you like showering and feeling like your skin is so soft you can't tell if the soap is washed off or not. Then this the place for you. I've stayed in other more expensive hotels in elko and I'm not impressed. Dirty, grungy and worn down. Stay inn express was remodeled and very comfortable plus the ac is freezing cold. Heater is hot. Room was nice and has wifi and cable. 2 thumbs up. Polite staff as well.

The guy behind the desk is really nice and has good recommendations for local restaurants. The room was clean the value was there.

The bed had seen better days and the a/c worked loudly and hardly.

My room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. When in Elko, I will be staying at this hotel again. The price was great and the location is easy to get to.

There are a lot of mine personnel that stay here, and the parking is a little insufficient for their trucks. The shower head could be better in the room I had, I am tall and I couldn't adjust the direction.

Breakfast choices were fruit ,cereal or waffles muffins coffee Stay express worked for me riding to Sturgis, was able to park my bike in front of my room, stayed both going and coming home . Older building ,remodeled shower, great place for the price $80 and $70.

Very easy to get to from the interstate. Very friendly staff. I get the impression they just bought the place and are trying to improve everything - they were eager to please!

Very basic accommodations, the property needs a deep clean despite the rooms being okay.

You have a lot of choices in Elko but I would definitely recommend Stay Express for location, convenience, and especially the comfort and quality of the room with all its amenities. Great value for the cost. Pete and his family were super helpful too.
