We had the pleasure of staying at Esquire Inn both on our way to our destination and on our return, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Traveling as a family of four, comfort, cleanliness, and convenience are priorities for us, and Esquire Inn delivered on all fronts. From the moment we checked in, the owner/staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully arranged. The beds were very comfortable, which was a big plus after long hours on the road, and the amenities made things easy with kids in tow. Highly recommended for families or anyone passing through looking for a peaceful, pleasant night’s rest. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

The owner has made an older motel very comfortable and clean. Our room was very clean and bigger than I thought it would be. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience we could have had. The motel was old but comfortable. The continental breakfast was simple but adequate for a quick start for the day.

The parking was a bit challenging but spaces were wide enough to not get door dings. You just have to be careful and take your time when parking.

Price is great! Bed comfortable. Liked you could park in front or very close to room.

Not the fault of Esquire, but the traffic is very loud. It’s right on Elko’s main drag in downtown. I don’t think you can get a room away from that traffic noise. It did start to quiet down around 830-900 pm, but we still used a noise machine to block noise. Air conditioning unit didn’t help with the noise as it is at the back of the room. Noise came in mostly from front.

The room was comfortable and spotless. It appeared to have been recently remodeled. The beds were comfortable and the decor of the room was nice. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, no mold or dirt. The exterior of the motel was clean with fresh paint. There were flowerpots with well maintained plants. You could tell the owners care about their property. The staff were welcoming and responsive to our needs.There were casinos and restaurants within walking distance. Overall it had an old town charm.

The motel was an old building and despite the meticulous remodeling, the building had an old building smell. Also, because of the age of the building, the parking was tight. The street outside was kind of noisy until about 11 pm with people driving old pickup trucks that backfired

Everything about our stay was exceptional. We have never seen such an effort to work as a team to ensure the entire stay was enjoyable. Every member of the staff were excellent.

The parking lot was a challenge. We would encourage anyone visiting to be considerate of others when parking in the Esquire lot. It't possible to park as normal, but still blocking another guest. The is really no fix for the problem, but there is on-street parking available

The location was excellent, the owners were really nice. The breakfast was cold cereal, coffee, juice and fruit in the lobby where four people were crowded standing up. I slept really good. The mattress was firm. There was a microwave and fridge. It was clean!! Close to everything in Elko. I would stay again. I gave it a nine, mostly because of the breakfast.

Per previous reviews, it IS on the main drag.. Pros: walking distance to many great museums, Starr Basque restaurant is a must go to, Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center is very nice with helpful, friendly staff; easy access to get back on the road. We didn't get her name, but she made some great coffee! Breakfast is very basic, and since the table and chairs are in the rooms, you fix your breakfast items and take them back to your rooms. Rooms are old, but clean and beds are comfy. Showers get hot and water pressure is fine.

It IS on the main drag through town, so road noise IS expected, trucks drive by at night and nothing can be done about that, so bring earplugs if it will bother you.

It’s an old school motel downtown. Some traffic noise but very quiet at night. It was close to various food options and a great coffee shop across the street.

Parking is tight because it’s old school location but works fine if you back into your spot. Not sure if there is enough parking within the courtyard for all cars but if you get their early enough then no problem.

It was okay...I know it its a small motel. I had a banana. The location was good....the parking was a bit tight. I appreciated the accommodations I needed for a room on the bottom floor due to my bad knees I could not do the stairs.

There really was not anything I did not like other than I mentioned he parking was pretty tight but again due to the location and the dynamics of the parking lot not much the business can do about it.
