Location was great for where I needed to go. The price was comparable. Breakfast was offered. Bedding was comfortable. Room was clean (not the floor). Quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

The floor was dirty--my white soles on my house slippers were black by morning. The AC was very noisy and during the night turned on and off every 30 seconds, which kept me awake until I turned it off. Ice vending machine only on one level. Ingress was hard to see and navigate.

The purpose of our stay was to be near the hospital for very early morning procedures. We've never stayed anywhere in Ames before and were reluctant to book a room here, not knowing anything about it. We were pleasantly surprised! The room was nice and clean, comfortable and we liked having a fridge and microwave in our room. The location was perfect, being near to the hospital as well as nice restaurants. We definitely would stay here again if the need arises! Staff were friendly and helpful!

The staff was amazing and friendly helped anytime we needed something. The beds were comfy and clean. The shower was always hot and refreshing definitely will stay here again. They did offer breakfast but we didn't eat as we were in town because my daughter had my grandson and we were at the hospital as soon as we got ready for the day and until late at night so I'm not able to tell you about breakfast.

The shower could have been a little bigger as I'm a bigger woman but that's the only thing.

My check-in was pleasant and quite fast. The room was immaculate and well appointed. I had a garden tub in the main room which I was happy to utilize.

Honestly the only negative was that the refrigerator door in room 111 was difficult to close like it didn't fit correctly.

Closer to family

Had mentioned a plunge pool in listing but didn’t see it when I selected the room, so wasn’t sure about that amenity. Room keys didn’t always work.

This was a great deal for the short notice and price range. Staff was very friendly and location was very clean.

I have no complaints. Very satisfied!

the beds are not extremely comfortable, and the cleaning crew need to learn that “do not disturb” mean DO NOT KNOCK on the door
