Staff From arriving to departure, all of the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Bedroom We had a spacious bedroom overlooking the carpark. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable . The ensuite bathroom was a tad small, but nevertheless , it was clean and well supied. Bar We only had a couple of drinks at the bar,the beer was good and the bar man was a really nice guy Restaurant We dined in the restaurant both nights, and the food was excellent, the fish soup was amazing. Breakfast A good continental breakfast was provided. Other than scrambled egg and bacon, everything else was cold. Carpark The carpark is large, and there is an undercover area behind the hotel for motorcycles. The location is good for access to Bragança but is a steep 1.5km walk when returning. Uber taxis, apparently are quite cheap

Nothing at all,we had a lovely 2 nights.

Cracking on site restaurant which is excellent food and cheap tbh. Safe motorcycle parking at rear. Very attentive waiter who helps u unload bikes etc. Breakfast good. Continental mainly but they do small amounts of poached eggs and weird bacon rashers. Nice. 4 euros per pint at bar. Cash only there. Hair dryer which was great for wet gloves. Restaurant card, cash or contact less

No plug sockets by bed. Used their fridge 3 way to connect. Old style doors that u use a key. U need to insert card into lights to make them work. So take it off and leave plugged in so stuff charges while u have dinner etc.

If I say a little outdated that is not a criticism as it has a character which cannot be defined. The staff were superb as was dinner and breakfast. We loved it! Lucia, the beautifull receptionist, was superb and open with us. Difficult to compare with other more modern hotels but we would return again with confidence.

In common with older Portuguese hotels the interiors tend to be dark and not conducive to visually impaired guests. Lots of steps also but contribute to it's undeniable character.

Lovely hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. We were staying in one of the bungalows,which was superb: modern, very well equipped and finished. The saltwater pool and surroundings were very good. Food in the restaurant was very good and the staff there were very helpful and thoughtful.

The included breakfast was decent enough, but falls behind many other hotels we have stayed in. But that is pretty much all I could fault.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was nice, and the beds were comfortable. The pool was amazing, and the area surrounding the pool was really comfortable and exceptionally clean. Barman also really chatty and helpful and restaurant meal was of a really good standard at more than reasonable price.

No real view from room and bathroom was a bit dated.

Excellent food and wine in the restaurant. I was told it has a fine wine cellar. Prices ranged from €14 - 800 per bottle!! The bar was lovely as well. The bikes couldn't have been more secure under cover at the back of the hotel. The pool was a short walk uphill but worth it. Breakfast was plentiful also.

It is a bit out of town - 30 minute walk downhill.

This is a very classic hotel, clean, large rooms. Very large parking space. Very friendly reception staff welcoming visitors. The restaurant attached to the hotel is a good option, as the hotel is on the outside of the city centre. The breakfast was very generous.

There was nothing I didn't like. This Hotel is a very good option with a good cost-benefit balance.

quick easy to book in, staff were fantastic, Rooms were clean and tidy, reasonable size with nice views over the local area, its got a great bar and restaurant for evening meals, safe secluded parking for our motorcycles, With fantastic views from its location on top of the hill outside Braganca. there were 8 of us we used the hotel as a base to explore northern Portugal. would recommend it.

its not a dislike, its located on top of a hill we chose it for where it was ! but its a tuff walk into the main town, and return is all up hill ,but we could have used the local taxi, not a criticism just something to be aware of.

I booked this hotel last minute as I was driving from Spain The staff and hospitality were so lovely I extended my stay an extra day Agata at the from desk was so warm and welcoming every time I passed by the lobby Always smiling, always available to help or solve any issues. I noticed most guests enjoyed her hard working cheerful energy as well. It is refreshing to see someone who can do their job effectively with a good work ethic and genuine care these days as well as speak English. The hotel has complementary breakfast and offers dinner and a lovely pool Its clean and locally owned, not a chain hotel You can also walk town , no need to drive And hold events or wedding there too with banquet facilities A lovey respite If you stop by make sure to chat with Agata

My colleague and I travelled to Portugal in order to attend meetings at the university in Bragança. The reception service, restaurant, and bar were excellent. Each member of staff is genuinely interested in the guests from the moment of welcoming until departure. Reception: Excellent, a special thank you to Agata Breakfast: Excellent, so much choice Restaurant: Excellent, good prices with a waiter who knows Portuguese wines. Bar: Excellent Swimming pool: Refreshing and a good size with plenty of space on the terrace. Rooms: Every day cleaned to the highest standards and the air conditioning is very efficient when the climate is hot. In conclusion, if you would like to stay in a Hotel that is not run by a monopoly with easy access to the centre of Bragancia this is the place to reserve.
