LOCATION: - Center: 40 min walking to the center - Park: 3 min walking, good for exercises, picknick, seat and chill, etc - Library: 15 min walking to the Library Neustadt if you need to study. - Food: It's an amazing location, there is everything around 10 min walking and more affordable prices than the center. You find easy places to eat for 5 to 8 €. - Night Life Around: A lot of Bars around, and you can always join the people in the hostel to organize something together. PLACE TO STUDY INSIDE THE HOSTEL Yes, there is a table in the common area and couches, but it's a small space, so if there is a lot of people can be loud and uncomfortable. STAFF Very good team, they are daily organizing things for the guests, amazing! Always check the blackboard in the reception. KITCHEN There is Boxes to store your food, Common fridge and everything you need if you cook. SAFETY Around the area, I felt pretty safe even walking alone during the evening. A few lockers are broken or not good designed, so a person with bad intentions can easy open. Just choose a good locker.

Everything is exactly as you would expect and hope a hostel to be, including the usual "downsides". Great and helpful staff, well cared for and nicely decorated facilities (on the level that is to be expected in an older building) and also the little extra that makes a stay more memorable. Really liked the freely available books and games and the shared kitchen (which after covid some hostels divested themselves of). The breakfast is solid (even vegans are very well cared for) and well worth it. Would definitely recommend to stay here while in Dresden.

It's a hostel in a typical hostel neighborhood. If you're sensible to loud noises, bring earplugs.

- Hippie-style hostel. - The staff is friendly and helpful. - Great streetcar access from Dresden Hauptbahnhof. - The kitchen is equipped with basic things. You can also pay for breakfast at the hostel. - There're plenty of restaurants in the area - you can choose something affordable when you don't want to cook. - Grocery stores are also close. - At the hostel you can have your clothes washed for payment (there's also a self-service laundromat close by if you need clothes for now). - There are lockers that can be locked with a padlock (if you don't have a padlock, you can rent one for a charge). - You can choose the bed in the room yourself (if there are plenty of spare beds).

- It's worth bringing earplugs with you. Neustadt is a district where life goes on until late at night. - One shared toilet for 3 multi-bedded rooms isn't enough. I was informed that I could go down to the first floor, but this isn't a comfortable solution. - Thin mattress - I felt the boards from the bed.

Personal was great. The receptionist I talked to has a great sense of humor and was very kind. They organize many events and give tips to explore the city, plus offer lots of additional services. The location is amazing, right in the liveliest district at night. Because of that, it can be a bit noisy. Tip: bring earplugs (I think you can also buy them at the hostel). But overall I enjoyed staying there.

Streets are noisy at night because of the great location, so earplugs are necessary if you’re a sensitive sleeper. Bring your physical passport with you, as they require it.

The staff were really friendly and keen to help. There are maps with information on many tours you can take through the old and new city, and even hiking trails in the region. Although the pictures on the website are a bit "overproduced" and not very representative of what the rooms actually look like, they were by no means ugly and uncomfortable, quite the contrary. Overall, for the price you pay is a great deal! If I ever come back to Dresden, I would probably stay there again.

The hostel is in a very vibrant part of the city, with an active nightlife, so it can get a bit loud in the room until late hours.

Communication with the operator was excellent. Service was good. The decoration of the hostel is unusual, nothing for more conservative tourists, but I really liked it. The bed and pillow were just the right hard and I slept well. Breakfast was sufficient.

The bed linen had holes, but it was changed at the reception. On Friday night there was noise in the hallway after 10pm. I was missing a locker or shelf in my room. The school lockers in the hallway in the common area do not seem appropriate to me. I stayed with my son and he had a problem with the higher position of the bed. Fortunately, it was solved by using a armchair as an intermediate step.

I love the staffs! they are so friendly and helpful!! I could tell that they put a lot of love and effort in welcoming the guests (well updated recommendation list tailored to different groups) the whole atmosphere in the lounge was awesome!! I love the people here

Based on my past experience in hostels (in Asia), most of them set up the linens/ pillow cases and stuff for me and when checking out I usually did not have to do anything. The cost effectiveness regarding this could be improved.

One of the memorable place to stay because i met a lot of people to make friends and to have ideas in life. Property was a very nice place to stay to meet other people who are travelling. Very cheap price and accessible place to stay. Shared bathrooms and you have also your personal locker,make sure to bring your padlock if you are travelling,for your own safety. They have their own bar and kitchen downstairs for you to meet travellers and to have friends. Outside the hostel you have a lot of bars to choose for you to enjoy and drink something. They gave me also a souvenir postcard for my stay and it was very nice experience from Lollis hostel

The room was a little bit messy because of other travellers who were inconsiderate using it. For your safety always lock your things in your personal locker so make sure you have your padlock when you’re travelling. Bathroom were cleaned even though its shared , free air if you will use the toilet to reduce your bowel movement you have a large window to have a great view while reducing. Hehe! Hallway was a little bit dark and needs more lights and some things are on the hallways need to be disposed. Shower water is warm and spacious. You can also ask for extra towels or beddings downstairs if you want.

Loved the cozy vibe staff & volunteers were great! The evening activities and and even the free dinner one night was a great touch. Free tea/coffee anytime was great. Beds were comfy, but a bit squeaky and the pillows a bit lumpy but fine. Privacy curtains, own charge point and light at each bed. Large enough lockers. Hair dryers in the rooms and bathrooms very handy. Showers were hot and plenty of power ans clean. Great place to stay and would stay again.

Bathrooms were shared obviously, but there isnt really enough for everyone. We were on 3rd floor but did have access to 1st floors which helped. Only other thing was musty smell on the whole of level one, but wasnt terrible, think having a few open windows would help.

Everything was perfect! A special shoutout to Louisa—she went above and beyond when I had an early morning hike planned, offering to prepare breakfast 30 minutes earlier than usual. Such a thoughtful gesture that I’ll never forget—thank you so much! Christmas Eve at the hostel felt so warm and homely. The volunteers cooked dinner for us, and we made crepes together. Some even shared Christstollen and Taiwanese candies. It was such a heartwarming experience! This made my trip to Europe truly unforgettable, with Dresden being the absolute highlight. I’ll definitely return in the future!
