The lobby and restaurant area are modern and stylish. The rooms though small are well designed so you have space to put things and move. The breakfast is great and the restaurant has a very good menu. Staff are very welcoming. The city is very accessible from the hotel. It’s my second time there and I’ll go back when I’m in Lyon.

I don’t have complaints. The only area for improvement aesthetically is the staircase and corridors, which are a bit less stylish compared to the rest of the hotel.

the location is great, also the design of the hotel and how the room looks is really amazing, it was a pleasure. The room was bigger than I expected, very nicely designed, bed very comfortable, it was just what I needed. Big plus for the small, but handy elevator. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

the room wi-fi was weak - maybe it was due to my room being at the end of the corridor, I also did not need it too much, but it would be nice to have it working more stable, I kept getting disconnect. I would change the system of daily stocked small soap and shower gel to more sustainable, bigger bottle to be filled in when needed. As for the breakfast, it would be nice to have some vegan options, including milk other than cow's for coffee.

Excellent hotel in easy reach of tourist areas and well connected on public transport. Rooms have minimalist decor but very chic and includes all you need. Very well designed rooms - though small, they don't feel cramped, with large bright windows. Staff were excellent and able to answer all requests. The restaurant is also excellent, with an interesting and seasonal menu, though quite expensive.

Air conditioning would be lovely, but the ceiling fans work pretty well. The lift is tiny, I had to reverse out with my rucksack on, as it is impossible to turn. Breakfast is expensive.

Basic room, but everything I needed for a quick stay and for the price it was a great deal. Bed was comfortable and I had a great view from it. The sun poured into the room, but the windows opened up so I had a nice breeze. Hotel was located close to the river and a train stop that connects to the airport and stadium (was there for a concert).

No door on the bathroom so the water did go everywhere when I showered.

The hotel is very central: I was able to walk to Parc de la Tete d'Or and Part Dieu and was surrounded by shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. To access more of the city, it is about five minutes' walk to the closest metro station and bus and tram stops are everywhere. The room was very clean with simplistic modern decorations; the paintings in the lobby and restaurant, murals on the stairs, and white, grey, orange colour scheme in the room looked great. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English as well as French at check-in/check-out. Breakfast was a buffet with delicious, good quality options (juice, milk, water, meat and cheese, yoghurt, granola/muesli, banana bread, egg boiling facilities, small croissants and pain au chocolat). Hot drinks were available from a machine so I had a hot chocolate and this is coming from someone with high standards for hot chocolate: it was very good for one from a machine!

The central location meant that there was plenty of noise outside. The hotel probably can't do anything more about this (they provide ear plugs; I didn't need them), but it's worth knowing before booking if you need complete silence. The room had a capable but audible ceiling fan but no air conditioning so during my stay in hot weather I slept best with the window open. There were no decorations in the room but there was a screw sticking out of one of the walls. It would have been nice to see that presumably missing decoration but missing it didn't affect my trip at all. Similarly, I would have liked to make a cup of tea, but there wasn't a kettle in the room.

The area was super quiet and nice and calm, the staff were very kind and the restaurant looked super nice even we didn’t eat there. The breakfast other guests were having seemed very delicious. We found a great comfort in the small but comfortable room we had. There wasn’t any noise at night and the mattress was very comfortable. We also appreciated the ceiling fan. Thanks Hôtel Taggât

I wish there would have been a little bottle of water in the room for the night or a kettle to make a tea in the room. Besides that, we didn’t know if there was a common room with a common toilet to use after the check-out.

A quiet, very clean hotel, well-situated in between the main train station (Part Dieu) and the old city center. The staff was welcoming and I even got a free upgrade of my initial room. It was a very pleasant stay and I recommend the hotel. I appreciated that the room was well-heated on a very cold night (which is not the case in all French hotels...)

The hotel had everything I needed in a great location to access all the sites of Lyon. The decor has been tastefully done, the staff very accommodating and the food excellent. I only had coffee and croissant for breakfast, though the buffet looked great ( though a bit expensive at €14). I ate dinner on one night, and though not cheap, it was a gastronomic delight, and obviously very popular in the neighborhood. The room, though tiny, had everything I needed - it was very well designed to make best use of the very limited space. While I probably wouldn't want to spend a week there, it was perfect for a couple of days. The large window meant that the room didn't feel pokey, and the ceiling fan went some way to reduce the heat at night.

It would have been nice to have a small kettle in the room, however I was able to order a pot of hot water at the bar and bring it up to make a tisane in the evening. The room does get hot, because of the large window and small room size - so Aircon would be nice. But the ceiling fan was relatively quiet and did a good job.

The responsible guy at the reception was super nice

when I was checking out there was another guy who didn't know what to do and had to check with the other guy. So I had to wait several minutes for the first guy to finish serving breakfast. The room is a bit tiny. Not a lot of space to walk through. The toilet was clean on the visible parts but deep in the bowel you could see was very dirty

First of all, the location is AMAZING. I literally walked every place I go easily. I wanted to stay somewhere very close to Gare de Lyon and not very expensive where I can take a nice shower. The hotel gave me all I wanted.

Shower was a little bit too small for a normal person and under the bed was very dusty.
