Perfectly located close to the Part-Dieu train station and within walking distance from the center. A nice restaurant at the hotel that we went to for lunch and dinner a couple of times. The beds were big and comfortable. There is a small swimming pool if you want to take a quick dip. Overall a good stay.

There was an issue with room cleaning when the room was not cleaned until late afternoon and we had to refuse afterwards because we needed to stay in the room. On our last day, a lady at the breakfast restaurant chased me quite intensely to ask for our room number and an extra breakfast mysteriously appeared on our invoice after that, although breakfast was included in our room rate. The problem was resolved at checkout. There were no vegetables whatsoever for breakfast. I would also recommend a proper changing room with a lock for the pool and fitness area.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and caring. Much appropriated. Hote is clean and perfectly situated. Not far restaurants and from the center (15 mins walk from "Cordeliers"). There's an indoor pool and gym area.

-.We had to give a deposit (which was the price of our stay). Apparently, this is typical for all hotels in France due to absuse from other clients, sadly. Luckily, the receptionist was very nice and did us a favor, and we managed to deposit a small amount in cash and simply pay our stay at check-in. - Beds are not comfortable... Both my husband and I didn't sleep our best and woke up with a bit of a backpain. - Breakfast was OK-ish, lots of sweet food, missing some greens on the menu. Overall, the hotel is good but needs a bit of refresh, (gym area, beds, and breakfast menu) the pool area could be heated up a bit more specially during winter. And the gym area needs some refresh with new material.

Breakfast on 15 Aug Public Holiday was a disaster. I arranged for my family to have breakfast at the hotel as it was my grandaughter's 16th birthday for around 9.15am .On entering the Dining Room I saw that the tables had not been cleared of dirty dishes . All tables were occupied except for singles and my grandaughter commented the food was depleted No yoguart etc. There were 2 dining room staff on duty and they could not cope. It was not their fault as One member had to greet each new guest to give the room nos. We attended the reception and returned with staff member to the dining room . Our family offered to clean the table and to give a cloth to wipe the table but this was refused. There was no solution as there were only 2 staff on duty . We reattended to the reception and I asked for the duty manager,who attended and heard our complaint. We decided to leave the hotel as there was no resolution. I had to tell the manager it was a Managergerial problem and NOT the dining room staff. I asked for a credit for the breakfast but the manager advised I should contact Booking .Com THIS WAS NOT THE SOLUTION AS I PAID THE HOTEL ON ARRIVAL AND NOT BOOKING.COM. BOOKING .COM WILL ALWAYS ASK THE CLEANT TO LIASE WITH THE HOTEL. I MADE A COMMENT IT WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED IN A 4 STAR HOTEL. (The hotel also took EUR 300 on my AU Credit Card in the event of damage- I was told the credit could not be credited as I had paid in full ) . I give Credit to the Catering Manager as the following morning and the remainder of our stay -Extra Staff were on hand, who removed the dishes and cleaned tables as soon as they were vacated. There was a staff member who replinished the food . The remaing days the breakfast was as it should be. On the Friday after obtaining the Manager's name I asked for a refund which was immediately credited to my Credit Card. We departed on Monday 19 th and the 300 Euro was released on that day.

I did not like having to give my credit card for a Euro 50 per day in case of damage resuling from our stay . I paid the full amount with my EC card on arrival .

Spacious room and comfortable large beds. There is a safe indoor parking. Careful assistants help with parking (it would be very risky to do it on your own without experience for a relatively large car!!! but if you have strong nerves, you can watch this process from the passenger seat - it's worth it!!!))) You can collect drinking water yourself on the floors (we didn't immediately understand this, and the staff forgot to warn you), bottles for this are on the first floor. You can walk to the center.

A deposit of 70 euros was required, which, according to the staff, would be returned in a week. We refused, because all additional services can be paid for at checkout, especially since we needed an invoice. Without a deposit, they refused to register us. In the end, we agreed to a cash deposit against a receipt, which was returned upon check-out. This is a safer option when paying by card. There is no access to the parking without assistance, which is both a plus and a minus if you forgot something in it. But overall, a good hotel at a reasonable price, we can recommend it.

The reception was great and we were allowed to check in before 3pm. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of options and a big thanks to the lady at "La garage" who made a delicious omelettes every morning. The beds were very comfortable and the fridge and water kettle is a plus in the room. The heated pool was nice for relaxation in the evenings.

The swimming pool was much smaller than i had anticipated but still worked out for us.

- It was only one night before our flight, but it was a great feeling of: Great experience guaranteed because "it's a Mercure". - The bed is suuuper comfortable, true king-size bed. Super clean, the bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and above average for a 4-star hotel. - Effective check-in and check-out. Great location to move around the city. - Fair price (€112) within the expected range for Lyon. - As a sensitive sleeper, I appreciated the quiet room they provided—no noise from neighbors either:)

Great location with good transport links. Pleasant bar with light meal options which were decent and good value. Room facilities, comfort and decor were perfect.

Indoor pool is very very small - more than three people in it feels like a crowd. The gym itself is better but limited personal weights and could have better variety of machines. One of the showers in the fitness suite wasn't working.

Lovely hotel, beds comfortable and room spacious. The bar area was great and staff very attentive. A ten minute walk to the river and a further 10 minutes to Center of town. We didn’t have the hotel breakfast but walked around the corner to a boulangerie for Crossaints and coffee every morning. Would recommend hotel for break away in Lyon

Very comfortable beds, cool, quiet room (aircon), plenty of pillows and towels, friendly staff, nice bar, kettle in room and free milk from the bar.

The pool is absolutely tiny! No dinner available on Sundays. No complimentary toiletries. I did not get a reply to my advance question (whether we could leave luggage and swim before checkin) but when we arrived it turned out well.

Great bed and pillows. Tram close by, 23 minute walk to train station and Rhônexpress to the airport. 25 minute walk into old town. There are, however, some good restaurants within a 10 minute walk from hotel.

There was tea in our room but no coffee machine. Two more pillows on the bed would be good for reading or watching TV. But otherwise the hotel was great.
