Our private room was comfortable and despite being on the ground floor & right next to the entrance we did not have trouble sleeping. Everything was clean including the shared toilet. The staff were really friendly & helpful. The location is close to the historic and central parts of Lyon and we walked from the station in 30 mins.

We didn’t have problems but if you were travelling differently to us a few things to note. - If solo travelling, especially as a woman, there were a lot of men hanging around on the streets nearby the hostel, they did not cause us a problem but it felt a little intimidating at times. - the kitchen & guest fridge are small so it would be a little tricky to cook a full meal from scratch.

The staff was very helpful for whatever I needed, also the location was nice- i could walk almoat anywhere and to the bus/metro stops. My bed was close to the window so lots of fresh air too. After my checkout I left my stuff to take a stroll before I left the city and I really appreciate it :)

Even though I found the place quite nice and clean, there were some stuff in the sinks especially hair etc. and idk if this is the situation in general in the area but no bins inside the toilet cabins.. I can't say that this is a dislike for me but also in the images the room had locked storage for suitcases but in my room there were only locked drawers, my suitcase didn't fit. Anyways, the staff let me put my luggage in their general storage room so it was quite safe.

The private room was a pleasant surprise. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious, making it a relaxing retreat. The shared toilet was clean, which is always a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.

While the room itself was great, the location wasn't ideal. It's a bit far from the city center and the neighborhood isn't as charming as others. The shower unfortunately flooded due to the shower curtain, and the nice furniture near the sink was at risk of water damage. It would be great if there was a better solution for this. Overall, the room was a comfortable stay, but the location and shower issues were minor drawbacks.

Everything was great!!! The staff were very nice and willing to help! Everyone speaks several languages and on an amazing level!! Room is very clean, same as toilets and showers. Bed is very(surprisingly) comfy, and sheets are really soft and fresh! Cant tell about towels option, cause i had mine, and there were no need to ask... so better bring yours probably:) Wifi is quick and stable, in case you need to work(i did, and i work with video online) I didnt take breakfast, so cant comment on it, but rose in the evening was really good ;)) You can leave your suitcase in the luggage room for as long as you need for free! At first, on my way in i was a bit confused with the neighborhood, but i didn't go out by night, so cant prove any of the comments below. By day its a little strange(and interesting/authentic at the same time), but totally safe! For me all was perfect! Highly recommended!!!

Bit weird neighborhood.

Clean room and bathroom, adequate toilets/showers for guests, standard dormitory experience. Reception staff easily available. Lockers in room though BYO lock (not sure if available at front desk). Free ear plugs at front desk. Decent value for money, location was good (near metro and easy to walk across to presqu'isle or vieux Lyon (about 25 minutes)). Did not feel unsafe at all (I note other reviews with concerns but would just say there's people on the streets - but nothing threatening or concerning to me at all!)

Curtains for dorm beds would be plus.

Clean, functional, simple with character and good taste. We stayed in a private room for 2 with a bunker bed, in the ground floor. The bathroom was just across. The place was so calm that it was just like having our own restroom. It seems there are 3 private rooms with the rest being dorms. Breakfast is fine. I stayed working a few hours and ate a toasted sandwich (croque monsieur) for 4.5€ and a cappuccino for 3.5€. Nice vibes, friendly staff. There’s a pub and a pizzeria, and a metro stop in the main street (behind) meters away. Would come back.

I would suggest they add fruits to the breakfast, wither fresh or fruit salad for example.

Fun place, overall clean and welcoming. I like the vibes around the hostel, the effort put to keep common places clean, beds were fine (unfortunately my pillow wasn't the best, but others had better pillows), breakfast was good but slightly overpriced, with 10euros could've been more varied, I would take the breakfast next time i visit though.

Few WC ==> many users, staff tries to keep it clean with a QR code alert system to keep things clean, but well, happens often that one can find the WC not top.

Very clean and bright hostel! Cozy room with a nice general place to chill outside Breakfast was also good! They have curtains for a better sleeping experience & privacy and also hand out ear protection in case you need it You're not allowed to drink your own alcohol, but they serve beer&wine :)

The toilet&shower room right next to our room wasn't that great (slippery floor I guess bc. someone messed up while showering, and the lock was pretty much unusable (took 3 or 4 times of spinning to get it locked or unlocked), the facilities in the first floor are much better, because there are more of them, and they are cleaner because of a better separation between shower and toilet (and the locks also work properly) I'd assume the lock is probably fixed by now and the slippery floor might've been a one time thing Still, more facilities close to the room would've been nice

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The hostel has very pleasant design, and the room as well. It was clean, and necessary things were provided (there were even earplugs at reception and a little coffee machine in the room). The bed was comfortable. Great value for money, and quite conveniently located to walk to the main attractions.

The sound and light isolation is not the best, so definitely have eyemask and earplugs for sleeping if those things bother you. The neighborhood seems a bit dodgy. I missed having some sort of wardrobe / hangers in the room, but there were chairs, so I could use them to prepare clothes.

The staff was very friendly. They helped me a lot taking care of my luggage while I was away... breakfast was good enough to start the day full of energy and an acceptable amount of bathroom and toilets on the second floor.

My bed in the first two nights didn't have curtains, but the last night it did have curtains, which makes a great difference even when there's more people in the room. There was only one bathroom available on the first floor.
