Location of the hotel is nice and our suite room was large enough to accommodate a family with a kid. Hotel staff was helpful.

Rooms, bathrooms and corridors are outdated and they definetly need some renovation.

Luxurious facility next to one of the 2 rivers in Lyon - the Rhone, and Saone. All the staff we encountered were pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. Location requires a 15 euro taxi ride from the Lyon Part Dieu train station but close enough to some of the places of interest - the Place Bellecour, the furnicular station to go up to the Basilica of Notre Dame of Fourviere, and Lugdunum, the ancient Roman remains. Also close to Vieux Lyon ( the Old City) for delicious food, and 20 mins walk along the river to the amazing wall murals - Mur des Canuts & Fresque des Lyonnais First time we've come across a hotel in our many years of travel that offers free, well-stocked alcohol-free mini bar.

Nice room and excellent breakfast at the top floor with views over the city. Excellent hotel for a business trip and conference in the city with a good location.

Bathroom design wasn't great and ended up with a wet floor after every shower. Plenty of towels available so no problem but with 2 people in the room it might have been an issue. Colleagues room had a different design so it was particular to the room I had.

Room size is big by French standards. It’s clean and very comfortable. We opened 2 luggage and we still have decent floor space to walk around. The mini bar is complimentary and it’s great to be able to have options of coke, bottled and sparkling water. The bed is comfortable and firm.

The level I’m at is dated and old fashioned with red or blue carpark and brown marble in the room. It’s not renovated yet. The lift opened to a lower floor and we peeked outside to see the renovated level which is so modern and nice!!

The exterior was terribly old and shabby looking. Also some of the common areas were really in need of renovation. Also the fact that the room service menu was not fully available all the time. The muffin at breakfast was terrible . Cold and tasted bad

the staff in the hotel were exceptional. they went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay and got the best experience possible. we enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast on both mornings. it was an ideal location for tourists as it was right near Bellecour and was a great link to other sights in the city.

there could have been a wider range of options on the dinner menu. the prices for soft drinks were a bit extreme, £8 for a coca-cola and £14 for an apple juice?! it was a lot easier to walk to the nearest convenience store and buy both of these for less that £8.

first big hotel we stayed in at europe, the rest of our accomodation has been small hotels. So this felt very luxurious for us. The bed was like a cloud and the block out curtains were great. Best hotel breakfast we’ve had our on travels so far. Also great location.

Only complaint would be the room service food wasn’t very nice. Very bland and average for the price.

the Hotel location is excellent in the heart of Lyon. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was served in a room with terrific views of the city an the food was extensive with both a buffet & al a carte.

Ultra-central location; cool 1960s building; smooth service. Fast WiFi. Room has a walk-in wardrobe you can burst out of to say BOO! to your significant other.

Pity there's no roof terrace. Building is a bit tired with scrapes and scratches to the wood veneer interiors.

Great location with parking. Walking distance to a great choice of restaurants from a quick snack to Michelin star ones. Spa and gym onsite and great views from the bar. The WiFi was efficient and could work all day from the room. Free bar fridge with water, soft drinks and nuts. Mini supermarket a short distance away for snacks. The staff are always super professional.

The rooms are looking really tired and old fashioned and need to be refurbished. Does not have the allure it did in the past. Come back because of the location and staff but other more modern and cheaper properties could make this a difficult choice in the future.
