I liked that the hostel was well located and that the staff was really nice, helpful and available! I also had a problem before arrival and they solved it immediately, which I really appreciate. It was good you could leave your food in the fridge.

I stayed for 10 days and the hostel is not suitable for that. We were 8 girls in the same room and there were two toilets and two showers we shared with another room of maybe 8 more girls? The fact it doesn't have a kitchen is very inconvenient. The microwave is ok, but that means you end up eating very badly. Another thing is the hostel is not only for young people, which is ok, but that also means that you may share the room with people that don't understand what staying at a hostel means. A woman yelled at me because I was (quietly) organizing my baggage.

Facilty was so amazing! It was one of the best hostels that I’ve ever stayed. everything was brand new even though the rooms were eight people each bed was large and the design of the room was perfect. Also, in the upper bad there was enough space to feel comfortable. Everything was so clean the staff was amazingly friendly. Showers were common but it was always so clean!!

The location was so central you could walk everywhere you want BUT it was in kind of a getto where lots of foreigners and refugees live and the way, which directs to the hostel was amazingly chaotic and dirty. There were people who were trading something on the street BUT maybe you can avoid them by not using the main road (tram street) but using the back routes. MAYBE it was special for the day I come, but this was my experience. Even though I’m coming from a country where I’m used to these kind people and things I didn’t felt safe at all . But when I arrived the hostel, I always felt safe.

I really appreciated the staff who were all helpful and made me feel welcomed. The whole hotel seemed clean and comfortable. My room was more spacious than I expected and my bathroom had all the basics. The hotel is close to the river and you can walk to some good tourist spots. You can also take the tram or metro.

I think there's a problem with the plumbing because my faucet sometimes leaked and let out high-pitched noises. My biggest issue is with the location. While I liked that it was close to the river and was accessible by tram and metro, the neighbourhood felt a bit sketchy. I arrived in the evening and I was scared walking alone. from the metro to the hotel because there were people drinking nearby.

The hostel was easy to find since it’s located above a nice bar/café on the ground floor — a lovely spot that I’d love to try next time. Check-in was smooth, and both receptionists I met (one during the day and one at night) were professional, polite, and very welcoming. I liked that everything was accessible with a key card, making it convenient and secure. The dorms were clean and comfortable, with sturdy beds, clean sheets, and privacy curtains. There was also enough space to move around and store belongings, though you need your own lock for the storage area under the bed. The bathrooms and toilets were clean, and soap was provided.

One of my roommates was quite inconsiderate — she was on the phone for hours and frequently made unpleasant noises. While that’s not the hostel’s fault, it did affect my experience. The area itself can also feel a bit dodgy at night. When I arrived in the afternoon, I took the tram from the train/bus station, which was easy and convenient. However, when I had to catch an early morning bus, I opted for a taxi instead, just to be on the safe side. The streets around the hostel can be a bit dark and quiet late at night.

I’ll start by the staff, because they’re really nice, helpful and smily! And that is not very common in hostels in France 😅 Special Thanks to Miryam (hope I spelled it correctly) who was extremely helpful to me The location is in a calm neighborhood, but just a walk (3mn) to tram and metro! With many shops and restaurants around, and the river side not far, I think it is super well located The room was not super spacious but very sufficient for 8 people with luggage and all! Every bed has a drawer to store the bags (enough for two hand luggage) It was super clean, common toilets and baths too! The room had a view on the street but no noise

Breakfast was limited Only one fan for the whole room isn’t enough as it could be direct only to one bunk bed

Location wasn’t pretty nice. It’s better to get in fast at night because the neighborhood feels unsafe

I go there about once a week (going to Lyon for work). Been there about 15 times or so now. I like : - Curtains for each bed so you have some sort of privacy - Light + plug at the head of each bed, with the cherry on top : with USB A and USB C plugs directly there -Drawers where you can put your bag -Very nice and helpful staff -Microwave available so you can heat your dinner bought outside -Good beer served -Nice interior and terrace -5min walk from the Metro station Definitely very good value for money for this city

Very little not to like... If we were extremely petty the following could be improved: -Towels can be rented but not available free of charge. -You have to pay 0.83cent city tax (or sthg like it) when booking with Booking.com which would be more convenient to be included in the booking.com fee for swifter check-in)

Comfortable beds, exceptionally polite and helpful staff - I got pickpocketed and the receptionist helped me manage my online banking which I will forever be grateful for. The next day the other receptionist was also super helpful giving me directions where I could report the theft which happened at the train station as soon as I arrived in Lyon - so future travelers, beware of that. There’s a cozy space where you can charge your electronic devices and refill refreshing water after you check out and before you check in. The luggage storage is free of charge which is also very nice.

There was no AC in the room.

- very good location, nearby tram station (great connection with Gare Lyon Perrache or Lyon Part Dieu-tram to the airport) - walking distance from the main touristic attractions (if you like to walk a lot)! - great, helpful staff (girls and guys equally), - cafe downstairs/social space really cosy and nice, - room relatively big and luckily with windows to ventilate it - relatively comfortable beds with curtains and lockers inside, - very close to the open swimming pool (which was great btw)

- It should be more bathrooms or toilets for the amount of guests, -there is no air conditioning but someone was upset after opening the windows… - the rest was really good 👍🏼

The staff were friendly on arrival. If you needed anything, they were more than willing to help. The bar / cafe was a nice spot to have a beer and watch the world go by. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures with nice little French windows overlooking the street. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were excellent. I personally had no problem with the wifi, but I was on the first floor. The location was close to both the metro and tram. It seemed sketchy at times with dodgy things happening, but always felt safe enough. There are also a couple of nice cafes within walking distance.
