The pool and grounds were lovely and well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious although it isn't a buffet and the choice is fairly limited. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood about 20 minutes from the town centre which we found convenient. We enjoyed drinks from the cafe just along the main road and dinners at Tamarind Restaurant and Khaiphaen both of which we would recommend together with the night market if you want a fun experience.

There was no comfortable seating in the room. There was quite a bit of noise from the adjacent building site which was only noticeable during the day if we were sitting by the pool.

The building, grounds and overall ambience were wonderful. The hotel has been very well thought out. Staff excellent and very helpful. There were a couple of evenings when it was a little chilly and we loved the lounge with the fire. Location very good an easy five minute stroll into the main town but in a quiet street. Would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone visiting Luang Prabang.

Not the hotel's fault but there was building work opposite which meant there was a little background noise. We only really noticed it at breakfast.

Our whole experience was beautiful! We loved the food, the pool was sublime, the attention to details in decor and casting a bit of a historical spell over the whole property...gorgeous! Staff was especially attentive and genteel.

Just the beds...weren't great. Not comfortable for any of us, even the kids! Though the mosquito net canopy was gorgeous and we enjoyed piling in together for bedtime stories. And either there are no rooms that can accomodate 2 children's beds, or perhaps they were already booked. And no suites. We ended up with two rooms and one parent in each room (which we knew ahead of time) Not exactly as romantic as we'd hoped, but the rest of the experience was so beautiful.

Loved the tranquility of the place. The beautiful gardens, ponds and statuary made you forget that it was busy outside. It's also far enough away (10 min to night market) that you don't get the noise. The balcony was a wonderful place to chill out in. Service was great. Even brought a TV into our room so that we could watch the Super Bowl game! Was also advised that we could just step out into the street in front of hotel to witness the monks' daily 6am procession receiving alms from the people in lieu of going all the way into town center where it can get crowded and a bit out of hand. Saw a couple dozen monks instead of the hundreds but it was enough to feel the spirituality of the ritual.

The room is on the darker side but all the rest of the good stuff made up for it.

The service was superb. Special call out to "Keo" for proactively taking care of so many things to make the stay wonderful. He anticipated needs and was very responsive, with excellent insights and suggestions. I loved the bespoke breakfast in a scenic, quiet, open venue. There were also several "cozies" where folks could retreat and unwind. Having two pools (recreational and lap pools) was a pleasant feature too.

One of the more expensive options for Luang Prabang.

The hotel exceeded our expectations multiple times. The moment you step in you feel back in time. It is constructed and taken care of with such soul and love. The house is full of antique pieces and designed to keep heritage of Luang Prabang. Located 10 mins walk from the very center of the town far from noise still very near. Special thanks to Milo and all the personnel for hospitality.

I liked everything. The place is very calm, in a quiet area, in front of a beautiful temple, where you can watch the Almsgiving ceremony without crowds of tourists. The restaurant is very good, the decoration and architecture of the hotel are exceptional. Perhaps it would justify breakfast having a small buffet instead of an à la carte service. This subjective assessment of the breakfast and the bycicles conditions does not alter my overall rating of exceptional. The gardens and pool area are magnificent. The staff are absolutely exceptional in terms of politeness, availability and efficiency.

The hotel provides bycicles but they were not in good conditions.

A charming boutique hotel well located, it is within walking distance to many sites and some great restaurants. The hotel has a functional bar area, two swimming pools and retreat areas to relax. Gardens are well cared for. Our room (corner suite) was spacious, airy and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and always helpful. A standout was the Manager (Robert) who was always visible and on hand to assist and recommend restaurants, tours and the like. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful lily pond ... such a peaceful and relaxing resort.

Fantastic hotel, from the rooms to the pool to the gardens and architecture. The staff were all helpful and friendly whenever I needed anything, the hotel has a charm and uniqueness that is rare to find, the history of the buildings really comes through in how they’ve adapted it into a hotel. Bed was very comfortable.

It is a 10-15 min walk to the main tourist area but for what else the hotel has to offer I think the distance is worth it.

We loved staying in suite 422 which was huge! The whole place is beautifully decorated with antiques and artefacts in every corner. It’s like staying in someone’s beautiful old house rather than a hotel. Both pools are lovely too and all the staff for friendly and happy to help with any questions on the area or tours etc
