Our large room on the third floor had a little terrace with a view of a mountainside. We loved sitting and listening to the variety of birds, even a cuckoo! I did morning yoga in a special meditation room. They also had a kids play area, pool table/game area and quiet desk - all indoors with nature view. The heated outdoor pool with massaging jets was incredible after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was excellent with great views from large windows. The beds were comfy and the room temperature control was very responsive. The staff were so courteous and helpful. They gave us a 20% off voucher for the Quinta Vale de Aldeia which led us to take their marvelous tour and tasting. There aren't enough stars for this hotel.

Our room was spacious, beautiful, modern, and comfortable with all the amenities provided. Excellent dining room, including vegetarian options, and the staff was very gracious and helpful. .the setting is gorgeous and it is conveniently located within 10-15 minute drive to Coa Valley archeological museum and expedition to see paleolithic rock wall art. Side note: We went to the thermal spa next door (not part of the hotel), which was nice to have nearby but difficult to set up an appointment and we could not pay with U.S. credit card so had to pay with cash. The massage was not very good. The massage therapist did not seem well-trained.

The coffee could have been better. It was too hot for us to enjoy the heated pool, which is smaller than you would expect for a hotel of this size

Unique hotel in an tranquil setting. Simple, practical and original wooden houses with enough space for a family of four. The warm outdoor pool certainly brings joy on colder days too. Our kids loved it here. Would definitely come back one day. Had dinner in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised! No other dinner options nearby.

All staff we encountered were professional, helpful and friendly. The room was minimalist, inspiring relaxation and very clean. The shower was wonderful!

The pillows were weak with minimal filling. The room lighting was dark whereas, an ambient light would have been nice. A four-star hotel should have a hot water kettle in the room with complimentary tea provided.

very modern and well designed hotel, the swimming pool is just amazing and the staff is really kind, the restaurant is very good as well with great wine

the bed was really uncomfortable, they said it was king size bed but actually they put 2 mattresses together, result... you keep falling between the mattresses the light on the room is really dim

We loved this hotel. Our room was spacious, beautuful and even had a nice balcony overlooking the green slopes. Also loved the breakfast with several options of cold and hot food, baked goods, etc and dinner was also amazing with a extense wine list and a great selection of meats and fish dishes. The architecture and decor of the hotel are also a big plus. Location also very good if one wants to visit the historical towns such as Trancoso and Belmonte, Meda and Longroiva. Do not miss a visit to their winery, a 5 min drive from the hotel (Quinta D'Aldeia).

We selected this hotel primarily for the thermal bath, but it showed to be an excellent, quiet stay with a large room, comfy beds, spcious bathroom, very good breakfast and dinner, and nice personnel ! We will definitely come back to experience this once more.

Nothing to dislike, as everything was fine !

we have stayed before, it was a pleasure to return. the room was so comfy we didn't want to leave. the heated floor in the bathroom, i could sleep there! and then there's that swimming pool... omg... the swimming pool... it's pure bliss! you'll feel like those japanese snow monkeys :D

sadly some of the pool's jets weren't working :( i had high hopes because they were so good. constructive feedback: breakfast is ok, but could be a little better. eggs were delicious but the bacon was so-so. and the fresh cheese should be something local. i definitely would't mind paying extra for more local or regional produce. at dinner the menu's dishes could use more or better garnishes, we felt they were lacking greens. to the maintenance team: the sinks took some time to drain, and their faucets were a bit quirky. oh and the bidet's faucet was loose.

The facilities are great and the location is beatiful and quiet. Very good value for money if you do N222. Staff is nice and helpful

Not sue how common is in Portigal but I would have appreciated a kettle in the room

Quite place with a lovely view and so peaceful. The thermal pool is great and nice breakfast. Staff was nice and informative.

The pool might be a little crowded if you come here in a busy time
