Lovely peaceful stay in small village close to Pinhao. Was great to get into the rural area and wake up with bird song. Lovely view over the vineyards. Great to have a sundowner on the patio. Clear check-in instructions. There were very thoughtful things like coffee, wine, snacks and ice cream to buy at reasonable prices.

The communal kitchen’s small fridge defrosted at night and some of our food got spoiled for not being cold. The small oven did not have a baking tray nor were there containers for using in the microwave besides plates. There is no tap to refill the kettle or rinse mugs in the kitchen. Free parking on the street.

Bed was comfortable, heatpump worked well, wifi was excellent and communication was good. It was nice to have access to a “kitchen” although it was missing a few things. We were able to park on site which was nice too. No swimming pool as it was the wrong time of year (Feb). The property was very quiet.

Absolutely treacherous staircase going down into the “kitchen”. The handrail is improperly installed so it wasn’t helpful either. The “kitchen” had no sink, no cutting board, no kitchen knives or spoons, although there was ample cutlery for dining. Be aware that the property is 5km away from Pinhão.

Breakfast was nice and a very good value for the money. Room was nice and a good size with a nice view. Bathroom size and shower were very nice. Friendly staff. Very quaint village location within easy driving distance to wineries.

Parking is tight and especially challenging if there are already two or more cars parked. We were in room four and it was slightly confusing when we first got there as I believe one of the buildings in that general area has an address number of 4. Bed comfort was okay, but not great.

It was so clean and comfortable. There is a very convenient shared kitchen space that has a few cooking items (toaster oven, microwave, kettle) and some snacks. The view was beautiful! After a long hike through the vineyards, the rooms showers were amazing. Raquel and her staff were amazing and so helpful with answering questions for us. The accommodation is about 4-10 mins from the train station and Pinhao town so it’s very quiet at night.

The quality of the mattress is divine! We slept incredibly well, like angels. It's perfect for anyone in need of a good sleep cure—super comfortable and cosy. I highly recommend it! The best part was waking up naturally to the chirping of the birds in such a calm place

It would be great to provide glass wine as drinking from plastic cups somewhat diminishes the experience. Other than that, I highly recommend this house!

The location was perfect with beautiful views of some vineyards. The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was served in a location that felt like a cave along with an outdoor terrace. Both were beautiful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We would highly recommend Casa Dona Eufemia if you plan on being in the Pinhao region of the Douro Valley.

Everything was beautiful, clean, and well put together. Beds are low to the floor, but very comfortable. Everything is new and nice in rooms. Breakfast room/ community kitchen area is so well organized, clean, and has everything. You can purchase drinks, food, wine , and other items on honor system. Hostess is incredibly friendly. The total experience was a 10 !

Driveway entrance is narrow, so go slow and easy. This was built hundreds of years ago before cars , so it's just the way it is.

Raquel was very kind and thoughtful to deal with unexpected details. The decoration is cosy and modern, everything is carefully organised and by far a value for money breakfast upon request. If the weather is good the views from the breakfast area is amazing!!

The location is a bit far away from the centre and you need to move by car or taxi. But if you need some peace this is not so bad!

Lovely place and very nice host. Rooms are clean and cozy. In the kitchen there's a fridge and you can buy water and other beverages or food, which is very useful because supermarkets are a bit far away. Swimming pool was clean and with a great view. You can easily park your car next to the house. You can ask anything to the host, She suggested to us a good restaurant to have dinner and booked for us. Really appreciated the glass of Porto offered in the room!

There's a lot of choice for breakfast but nothing local (no pastel de nata, ecc)

The room was easy to access and the self check-in is very straightforward. Communication with the owner was nice, and they even left a taste of Porto for us in the room. The location is great, right in the heart of the Douro Valley.

We were only told after booking that the swimming pool is not part of the property, but it's on the pictures. Small defect, but the rest was as promised.
