We stayed at the 3-bedroom house in Tavora for a week at the end of July. 4 km from Tabuaco. A very quiet and picturesque place. AC in every room. Tavora is a small village where youc an only get coffee and beer, but nearby Tabuaco has swimming pool, restaurants, cafes, supermarket, EV charger, ATM's. 30 minutes drive to Vilar dam (Barragem do Vilar).

No WiFi or breakfast at the 3-bedroom house. The kitchen could be better equipped - for example there was no chopping board or kitchen towels.

Outside the hotel seems a little 'tired'. Inside is another story, room looked newly renovated. Nice designed bathroom. Size of the room was alright, though it was listed as a junior suite. Everything worked well, there was also a fridge in the room. AC was very quiet. Good bed. Great staff, very service minded and helpful. Breakfast was good. Some restaurants in the nearby area, as well as a supermarket. Parking outside the hotel, also a bigger parking lot close to the hotel.

No elevator, if you are in need of such

We got in late in the evening but the gentleman working the reception desk went out his way to accommodate us. Since there was no food available at that late time at the hotel he called a couple of local establishments to find out what time they were closing. We ended up sitting in the empty hotel bar with the same gentleman serving us drinks after a very long day. He was very friendly and informative and helped us decide what we were going to do the following day. It turned out to be a great memory and wonderful travel experience. The breakfast the following morning at the hotel dining room was good. The room was very nice with nothing lacking.

Nice rooms, clean and had lift access which helped with luggage. Didn't have breakfast but was available. Underground parking nearby was great for keeping motorcycle safe

My room had a leak in the ceiling likely due to the recent heavy rains in Portugal. Only started after I checked in so not their fault just one of those things and was moved to another room which was fine.

The staff member who checked us in was exceptional. He was performing many jobs: receptionist, bar tender, bus boy and waiter! And he did them all professionally and happily. He made us feel welcome right from the start! There was a lot of noise outside ( people, dogs barking, etc) but once the door to the balcony was closed, it was fairly quiet. The location took longer from Pinaho than I had hoped due to the mountainous road you must take to get there, but the tow pin was lovely with great views. Exceptional breakfast. Best we have had so far in Portugal.

I was worried the constant barking was going to be an issue but it wasn’t. I prefer designated parking spaces rather than finding a spot. We parked in front of a convenience store as the spots directly in front of the hotel were occupied. We were told this wasn’t a problem and it wasn’t, but I prefer to know my car is on hotel property. Appreciated having a fridge in the room and would love a kettle with tea and coffee.

A lovely hotel in a friendly and interesting mountain village. Room was comfortable, clean and modern. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the street below. Staff are wonderful, very helpful and provide recommendations for restaurants and sights. Good value. I definitely recommend staying here.

Booked at the last minute and got the last available room. The staff was very kind. There was a parking spot right across the street. There is a market nearby. We enjoyed our one-night stay and breakfast the next morning was fabulous!

The outside is a bit run down but the inside is very nice.

The staff was great, very friendly and welcoming; breakfast also very good, even taking into consideration hotel was half empty, and we arrived the last for the breakfast - everything was there fresh and hot and waiting for us; the bed was comfy, and the sound isolation was good (the room was facing the road - I heard nothing); parking outside of the hotel

Best location, accommodation, very clean and pleasant stay. Not to mention how polite and helpful the staff is. Would highly recommend this hotel to travelers 👍👍👍

Lovely big room. Quite remote location. Pretty little village. Hotel has a restaurant which is a big bonus. Close to wineries and probably the nicest place to stay seeing the other large villages. Very quaint village. Free parking all around.
