Luxurious stay with phenomenal views of the Douro River and Valley. Breakfast with fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, yogurt, grains, juices, pastries, bread, coffee, tea was wonderful. The terraces permitted and encouraged relaxing and tranquil lounging. Rooms were clean, generally well-furnished, with spa-like bathrooms. The staff were particularly helpful with our day touring arrangements, making dinner reservations for us in Pinhao.

There was minimal storage space (drawers) for clothing. Even a nightstand with drawers would have been helpful. A small TV screen in the bedrooms would have been welcome, The wine museum tour was too simplistic. A tour showing the current wine making process would have been better. Lastly, my family would have really enjoyed having breakfast and dinner outside, but we understand that it was likely logistically easier for service to be in the dining room.

A breathtakingly beautiful property , with attention to minute detail with a caring and friendly team that delivered an outstanding experience . The cuisine and service at the award winning Teracu restaurant on the property was simply amazing showcasing the best ingredients in a hearty but yet beautifully presented plates. Jorge, Francisca , Rafael, Maura and Alexandra were spontaneously warm and hospitable and made the Douro valley stay one of the most memorable highlights of our two and a half week trip to Portugal. Each of them were experts in their respective fields and went out of their way to make it a very special and delightful experience for us.We will surely visit this property again and recommend it to all our friends and family.. Thank you guys for making it so!

Nothing... It was expectional in every way !

We enjoyed the winery tour and wine tasting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The outdoor area is lovely, surrounded by beautiful views.

For a Relais & Chateaux property, I expected certain amenities like a safe and TV in the room, which were surprisingly absent. The breakfast options were quite limited, very basic . It was served indoors, which was disappointing, especially considering it was June and could have been enjoyed on their terrace. Dinner was served outdoors, and although the food was tasty, the portion sizes were disappointingly small. We expected better.

A stunning location with beautiful views all around! The property is immaculately maintained, lovely tall cypress trees line the outdoor areas with views of the vineyards & river beyond. Very comfortable rooms, wonderful interiors. Many options for sitting outdoors, including a pool. The restaurant offers delicious breakfast and dinner, excellent service! We tried many of the wines both from Quinta Nova as well as the Dao winery - superb 👌

Absolutely nothing!

The beds were super comfy. And the ac was great. We loved the welcome gift of port, cherries, and local bread. The views were inspiring and the food and wine were delicious

The pricing is a bit high, otherwise we would have stayed longer. Would still recommend it, though. The hospitality could have been more timely and attentive in the restaurant and poolside service.

Quinta Nova is an amazing experience and the location and views are outstanding, the staff were lovely, although language was sometimes a challenge, they may have been a little short staffed while we were there as we did have to wait a while when we ordered drinks a few times. The position and overall experience was wonderful.

The tapa and light snacks menu could have been more extensive, also a greater range of drinks is expected, ie: Gin and Tonic or Aperol spritz.

A wonderful location with a swimming pool and beautiful views over the vineyard and the Douro river. Lovely, helpful staff and a very comfortable room with great facilities. The restaurant was also excellent with high quality food and drink from breakfast through to dinner. Great walk through the vineyard to the Douro and an interesting winery tour and tasting. We also had a private boat trip up the Douro to Pinhão which was magical.

Breakfast was amazing with a choice from the buffet and cooked on order. Location was beautiful including the vineyard, the church over the river. The restaurant is also a gem with an amazing dinner and lunch set menu with wine pairing. They have set up a walk around the property which is well indicated and easy to follow but make sure to have sturdy shoes.

Nothing that the venue could do anything about as the weather was not kind with massive storms, showers and very dangerous roads. We enjoyed the venue even more by staying in!

Spectacular property and accommodation, friendly staff, amazing room, heated floor in bathroom, great breakfast, feels like home but way better

Room service was very expensive for some reason

Staff greeted us in a friendly and helpful manner. The views from the room and terrace were stunning. We had a great couple of days and enjoyed the wines and particularly the wine tasting enormously.

In the morning there was only one coffee jug for all the tables and seemed always empty for all. One per table would seem easier .
