The room was compact compared to typical hotels in the U.S., but as a Japanese person, I found the space and bed size more than sufficient. It was clean, had charming decor, and was well-equipped with plenty of amenities. In addition to disposable slippers, shampoo, tea, coffee, and bottled water, the room also had a mini-kitchen, utensils, and a microwave, which made it convenient to heat up food purchased at a nearby supermarket. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe throughout my stay. Downtown was just a 5-minute drive away, making the location very convenient. The staff was also very responsive. I would love to stay here again if I have the chance!

I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Jardin! The place was spotless and beautifully designed—modern, fresh, and super comfortable. I really appreciated the keyless entry using the last 4 digits of my phone number, which made check-in and out so easy. The in-room espresso machine and kettle were perfect touches, and I loved that they provided natural tar remover pads—so thoughtful for Santa Barbara’s beaches! 10/10—can’t wait to stay here again!

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about Casa Jardin. Everything was so well thought out and perfectly maintained. It’s rare to stay somewhere where you wouldn’t change a thing—but this place nailed it!

The room was a good size for a family with teen. I loved the little touches such as packed toothbrush n paste, make up remover packs..etc. There was a kitchenette with minimalist dishes and a small Electric stove., utensils and plates, cups n mugs, coffee maker, popcorn that we used to microwave. Very comfortable mattresses and beds. The tv was a bit small for the room as it was attached to only on one side of the wall where people laying on the other bed can’t watch very comfortably. This location is good for 1-2 nights, but if you’d like to stay longer and want a pool there isn’t a one. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Minimalist, but luxury at the same time!

The only thing that really bothered me was the constant noise from cars passing on the Garden st because they had metal pieces on the asphalt due to the construction across the street. The banging was all day and evening. But that construction won’t be there forever.

Using the last 4 digits (with #xxxx#) of my phone didn't work, but replying to the instructions sent via text with Unlock did work. Our unit (7) was just too small. Others might be better/bigger. I would suggest to have a bed under which one could store luggage. The shower/bath was splashing into the rest of the bathroom. A tad noisy with the construction across the street.

Great location and pretty new. I did find the price-quality ratio to be on the high side.... I honestly did miss a second chair so we didn't have to eat our homemade breakfast in bed. One toaster would be a welcome addition to the kitchenette

We had the misfortune that the remote control batteries stopped working and the coffee maker did not work because it needed descaling. This was resolved very nicely though with compensation. The cleaning could be a little better, to the eye it looked neat, but e.g. behind the bedside table there was a thick layer of dust.

We had an excellent stay at Casa Jardin. The apartment was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and furnished with high-quality items, including the linens. Thoughtful extras like sleep masks, toiletries, and other sundries were a nice touch. There was plenty of space, which made it especially comfortable for traveling with a family. The location was also great—an easy walk to the restaurants and shops along State Street. We’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Casa Jardin for 3 nights over a long weekend and it was perfect. Our room was small but well set up so that it didn't feel too tight. There was plenty of space for our bags and clothes, the bathroom was a good size and had nice amenities, and the room still managed to squeeze in a kitchenette. Location was perfect -- right near downtown, great tasting rooms, coffee, and food. We appreciated the included white noise machine, though the street noise was not too bad. Parking on site was easy and convenient. The check-in process was also very easy and the keypad on the door worked great so that we didn't need to carry a key around. I will definitely be recommending Casa Jardin to anyone I know traveling to Santa Barbara!

The room was a bit small but it is as advertised. It may not be perfect for someone with a lot of baggage or if you prefer more space to spread out.

New build and so comfortable. It was a great location for walking to so many fun places.

No housekeeping at all.... you have to request services-which is fine, but for a week stay it was tough to have to ask for a new kitchen towel or a refresh...I never got my refresh. I would recommend to auto refresh on day 3 or 4....I think they cater more to 2n stays. I didn't get a reduced rate for longer stay, so having a refresh treats me the same as short stay guests.

The room was better than I expected, all the details were well thought out to make it really comfortable! It was very clean and cozy. The bathroom was spacious and nice. The location is perfect, within walking distance of downtown. The parking lot is convenient—we left our car there and were able to walk everywhere. The whole approach is great—there's no reception, you simply check in with the provided code. However, support is always available, you can text them anytime. My son and I loved this place very much! Casa Jardin is conveniently located and walking distance to State Street, Funk Zone, Alameda Park, and Alice Keck Memorial Garden. There is free parking onsite. It was really easy to get into the room following the instructions using the doorcode. The host is very communicative. In the Deluxe Studio, there are a lot of really nice details and amenities including a kitchenette with popcorn and fridge (no freezer), first aid kit, small toiletries, and extra towels. While the space is small, it suit our needs as we did not spend all our time in the room. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again.

The queen bed in Unit 11 was sagging and I saw other reviews mentioning something similar. The mattress is very soft and you tended to roll to the middle of the bed, which isn't ideal for 2 people. We rotated the mattress to try to address the issue and lifted up the mattress to see if any of the slats were broken on the bed frame (found it on Wayfair). The quality of the bed frame fit the price. Aside from the 3 slats that were supported in the middle, all the slats were bendy and bowed easily. Maybe you would not notice if you were by yourself sleeping alone in the middle of the bed. We hope they address the bed issue for future guests. There is no place to sit other than the bed or the chair at the desk, which may be an issue for some guests.
